Me and my friends went to this chula vista location to have a between friends late birthday celebration for one of them and as soon as our waiter came up to us to "greet" everyone at the table the tone and the way she was talking already wasn't the best it came off more rude than anything too, after we ordered our soft drinks my friend really wanted to have her first drink at this location and when my friend asked for the drink she didn't even say a word and just put her hand out waiting to have the ID in her hand and when we asked for a certain margarita she said "we ran out of that one actually" EXACT WORDS and my friend kept looking at the menu as our waiter Bree walks away and each other drink we tried to get was always a no cause they "ran out of everything to make the margaritas" so after our meal we decided to ask another team member there that was a million times better service for the tiny conversation we had she asked a manager to see if they had everything and they did. So Bree just took a look at the ID and decided to lie to us about the drinks instead of telling us straight up no for the drinks and even that wasn't the problem it was more the service that was horrible in my opinion and my friends think so too, on the other hand the food was good and everything was clean and right to our order. I've gone here twice, and I don't know which experience was worse, my first or last. The ladies here have such a snobby know-it-all attitude. I ordered a cape cod and the lady taking the order all of a sudden became deaf and had me repeat myself three times. When she finally heard me she asked "What's that?" For someone working at a wing joint where alcohol is served, how do you not know what a Cape Cod is?... Also, when we wanted to pay the tab we were sent back to our table because our waiter had to check us out. Why are there registers in the front, ladies behind the registers and we can't pay there? First time coming to the Chula Vista location and I can say I will not be coming back. I put in my order, never received the 3 drinks I asked for. I received my main meal before the appetizers (okay, it's a first but I'm going to let it go) I then received the appetizers and no drinks. 20 mins went by, so I had to go up to the waitress and remind her that I was waiting on my drinks. We love this place because it is a family establishment but also a great spot to have a beer and watch a game or boxing.. However, during specific games they have been alleging "staffing issues" and we came for dinner with 2 servers managing the entire restaurant and then for playoffs they had 4 servers for the entire restaurant during playoff games on a Sunday!!!! This isn't a first time occurrence for games. The line to check-in is long and the one doing the checkin always seems like they don't care to get people of the list, by always watching TV or looking away. The tables all are set up to scan the QR code so I am not sure why they don't have more food runners available, because at this point you are not taking orders, you are just bringing out the food. Then it takes extremely long to get your items, and items purchased after other items are brought first and have to track down the other items... not to mention the menu had 2 chicken sandwiches to choose from when they normally have 5-8 different chicken sandwiches... and we had 3 burgers to choose from... and one was vegetarian (black bean). This place does not have a lack of customers but it has a huge lack in customer service and menu options... especially on game days! The food (aside from the wings) is good and always cooked perfectly, we've never had a bad sandwich here. I would say since the conversion of the QR Code type service, customer service has gone downhill. I understand that we are still in COVID times and I'm all for contact less service as long as the integrity in the sense of "customer service" is still upheld and continues to be the quality before the QR codes. The system needs to be changed somehow or perhaps some training is needed for the restaurant. After the game was over this Sunday, you saw a bunch of employees walking throughout the restaurant... so whoever is doing the scheduling so maybe hand it over to someone who is more on tune with the actual sporting events going on for that day. Nobody wants to come inside and see a very empty restaurant and be told it is 20-30 minute wait to be sat. Then 30 minutes goes by and I finally get a text and the restaurant is extremely packed all of a sudden when you were in front of half the people waiting and the ones who walked out were waiting right beside you watching the game on the screens outside. Also, you can no longer sit outside and eat because we were told that no servers go outside. Wasted space, haven't seen any use of the tables in the front or back of the building. So me and my friend walked in to get food and there was no host or anyone to help us at the stand for like 10 minutes then we went to go towards the bar to find help then they ignored us at first showed no interest in wanting to help us. Had to go up to someone to ask and pretty much told us they were short staffed and that we had to wait in a rude way. Pretty much making us seem like if we don't like it we have to go somewhere type of answer. I get some days are short staff because I work in the industry, but the way they answered it and made us feel like we were causing stress to them or bothering them definitely created a bad impression and experience. Then when I started to stand my ground they tried putting us at this short top that had stuff all over it and said that's all we have and you're gonna have to wait. The host and bartender gave us attitude so we walked away. Half of the tables in the store had food plates and trays piled to the top and nobody wanted to clean at least one table because they were waiting for a server that has been there but didn't know where they were at. So multiple times now we just were pushed off to the side. Host was a lady with a tattoo on her right arm and she was shorter and the bartender was a younger guy with a beard with tattoos on his upper arms. Just in case y'all are wondering. Very upset and very disappointed will not be coming back and I will be telling other people about this location. Flat out disrespectful. Also I forgot to mention, it took forever to get service then when I got service the food did come out quickly but I waited for my soda with the server no where in sight. I so happened to find her talking and joking with her coworkers right in front of me. Still no drink was brought. This location for their service is actually AWFUL. My husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy but not all tables filled kinda busy. I cannot express enough how terrible the service was. When our server took our order for drinks and got our beer, about 20 min had passed by. She walked by and asked if we were ready to order food and we said yes. She said okay and said she was just going to finish a transaction real quick but it was nottt real quick. We both ordered wings, a side of fries, and water. Got our wings, never got our fries, never got our water, and never even had the chance to ask her about our fries cause she literally NEVER checked on us again after we got our wings. I went today with friends and honestly, this place never fails to disappoint. The food was cold and hard. The waitress did not provide any good service. She was too busy flirting with the male customers tables and forgot to bring my friend his drink. She said she would be back to bring it, but she NEVER came until way after we got our food. We went for the endless wings deal. We waited about 45 min to be seated, and it took a while for us to get our meal likely due to the short staffing. Many of the wings weren't well sauced, and they were overly crispy/dry. The flavor wasn't good on most of our choices, and they also weren't very hot either. The fries weren't seasoned, so I wish I had gotten the potato wedges. The potato wedges were the only good menu item. After one round, we told the manager we didn't want any additional wings, and he gave us a small discount. He also offered to give us more wings but with the wait and how the other wings came out, we passed on the offer. The ambiance was crowded and loud. I don't plan to ever come back especially for the price. There are other more affordable tastier options out there. read more

There were 6 of us. 3 of us got food. 10 minutes later 2 more got food. Half hour later the last person at our table got his food. I have never had anything like that happen at a restaurant before. When we asked why his food was taking so long she said it was because his sandwich was deep fried. This is by far the worst place selling wings: I ordered the 30 Buffalo Wings bone-in, nothing else. I selected the mild spiciness, vegetables with ranch dressing. Paid approx $65.00 08/11/2022. Instead we received 30 small fried wings with absolutely NOTHING on them, 2 tiny containers measuring perhaps 1/2 ounce or less with Buffalo sauce, 2 tiny also measuring less than 1/2 OZ containing a redish powder, 2 half size sandwich bags with 4 baby carrots and 3 celery sticks each measuring between 3" - 3-1/2" long each, and 2 tiny containers of ranch dressing. Wings (dry/fried) were not juicy or tender but in the contrary, the celery was not fresh at all, carrots were okay. Wings were colder then warm. The carton containers were questionable (as in properly holding the contents since the carton material was very thin). My family and I dropped our jaws when we saw what we purchased on line via UberEats (I could perhaps blame them for the food being cold). This is by far a rip off, we will never buy again from this place. We should of stick with Wings & Things but nah we wanted to try another restaurant and give our money to different businesses. Big mistake! This place should learn that when someone buys Buffalo Wings they should sell them they way they are meant to be, or to the very least provide the adequate amount of sauce to soak them in it upon arrival. Not even going to write a formal review. Just going to make a quick list with an ending. Pros- NOTHING! Cons- Chicken tenders burned. KFC tastes better. -Illiterate staff especially cook that can't read the orders correctly. Guess the manager trained them so that makes them illiterate. -French fries, BLAH! McDonald's fries taste better Hamburger- no flavor at all. Probably just slapped ground beef in Patties and cooked them. No mustard on it. Put bacon on when never requested it. This is why we stopped going here. Food is horrible, staff is horrible, manager is horrible and I only bought it tonight because my brother keeps giving me these stupid gift cards for this place.
