Luckily I asked and learned that the fries were fried in beef fat and were NOT vegetarian. No one told me this when I ordered and it did not say it on the menu or list a vegetarian side for the vegetarian option. So I looked it up and saw that EVERYTHING fried, is fried in the beef fat and is not vegetarian. Order was missing Three items but after speaking Finally w/the mgr Terryann(Sp ?), who was very helpful and apologetic, worked with us to straighten out the issues- the way management Should be when an establishment Screws up an order- Big time! He Re-made the missing wings himself, and included extra along w/a large order of chips & salsa that never arrived w/the 1st one. Also got the aoili sauce for the Amazing Hatch Chile double burger we ordered- which tasted Amazing, along w/their wings. Got 4 diff kinds of wings, which were All Amazing, as always, and was Very surprised at the quality & taste of the burger - Highly recommend it! If you have any problems, be Sure to speak w/the mgr Terryann who went above & beyond to work w/us & the USELESS Door Dash company we made the Mistake of ordering through- who only offered a Measly discount, then Finally relented & sent another driver to pick up & deliver the Rest of the order that Should have been delivered the 1st time! I came here on a Tuesday night with my kids expecting an empty restaurant and good service. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not empty, but it wasn't crowded either. We were seated immediately, but it took exactly 20 minutes (I literally timed it) for a waiter to approach us and offer us a drink. To say I was disappointed is an understatement, but I still decided to see it through. After waiting another 15 minutes hoping to get our fountain drinks soon, I went to the restroom to clear my head. While in there, I had a moment of clarity. Why should I subject my kids and myself to horrible service when there are so many other restaurants around who deserve my business. I then proceeded to our drink-less, and waiter-less table, and grabbed my things and headed toward the entrance. I stopped an employee on my way out and asked to see a manger. Rather than cause a scene, I politely told him how frustrated and disappointed I was that my children and I had to wait so long to see our waiter and be offered drinks. He gave me some excuse about them being understaffed due to so many people calling out. What he failed to realize was why I was really upset. It wasn't that I had to wait so long for service ( I'm a patient person) ,but it was that I had to wait so long for an actual explanation from a human being. All would have been well if someone "ANYONE" would have approached me and briefly explained the situation and offer to serve us as soon as they could. I enjoyed my experience at this BWW location for several reasons. The Happy Hour prices are excellent; I ordered a tall Natty Boh for $2.50, a bottle of Corona Extra for $3.50, and another draft of Natty Boh for $4.50 which included a glass to take home. I also ordered the chili queso as an appetizer for $4.00. I would recommend going on Thursday for their 60 cent boneless wings special! You can order as many wings as you'd like for 60 cents a piece. The wings come with a side of ranch or blue cheese as well as your choice of carrots or celery. Our bartender, Jennifer, was friendly and attentive throughout our entire stay (which ended up being around 3 hours, oops!). The entire restaurant is surrounded by TVs that air several different sports at one time. I would recommend BWW for a reasonably priced, sports oriented Happy Hour spot! read more

Generally, I frequent the BWW in Urbana, MD; however, since I was further north with some very hungry children yesterday, I decided to place an online order at Shorebird for pick up. I cannot even begin to express the total heartfelt disappointment that I had in this facility. I will list all the things that went wrong here: 1. Online stated order would be ready by 5p. I did not receive the incomplete order until around 5:30 - so stood in store waiting. Apology provided for the longer wait time. 2. Online order consisted of 30 traditional wings (with 3 different sauces). The order presented had 15 traditional wings (8 of one flavor and 7 of another) and 6 boneless (if you can call them that as they were dry and hard). At this point, apology provided again with an order for the remaining 15. 3. Online order consisted of an order of the Hatch Queso dip. What I received was cold and greasy with stale chips. At this point, I asked that my order be canceled and refund granted. I was told it could take up to 7 days and if I didn't see it to call back. Disappointing when it only takes a few seconds for your money to be extracted from your account. It's been two years but I went in last week and this place was in very bad shape. At noon only the bar area was open. One employee was working tables and the bar. I ordered wings and waited 40 minutes for them to arrive. Dry, crusty little legs. Almost no meat or sauce. The wings were a little better. This place has the same ambiance as a hospital cafeteria. I am a frequent patron of the BWW chain. I love the variety of food and drink specials and of course the different sports on all the TVs. But today was a subpar experience at best. It centered around the service. Our waitress did not inquire if we liked our food. We had to ask to have another round of drinks. Our food came out cold. Our appetizers were very tasty and the beers were nice and cold. We had a movie to catch and could not wait to let the manager know about the poor service. I have been a customer of the BWW in Frederick for several years. I am no longer!! I am appalled at the service and the management. Today a friend of mine and I went to have wings and a beer after I lost my brother earlier this week in an auto accident. My friend ordered a beer that was on the $5 menu that they were apparently out of and asked for a substitute . The server told him they would not substitute and rudely told him to choose another cheaper beer and turned his back. When the manager, Heather, came to the table she proceeded to also tell us we were rude to the staff, which we were not, and then told me I had cussed at her, which I did not. Her tableside manners were so unprofessional and she turned and went back to the kitchen. We left and will not return. It is sad to see how far this BWW has fallen. read more

I've been to the Buffalo Wild Wings locations in New York. It's a great place to come and enjoy the game and eat some wings with some beer. I don't drink alcohol so I cannot tell you if the beers they have are good or not. But they have a variety selection from you to choose from. What I like about this location is that it's never packed and we do not have to wait in line to be seated. Such a big difference from the establishments in New York. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. I've gone on a busy night and the service is still great. The waiter kept updating us with our food since it was a busy evening and was checking in often making sure we weren't in need of anything. I ordered the Traditional Wings plain with a side of Lemon Pepper and Ranch. I also got the Mac & Cheese bites, they were okay not something I would order again. My man ate a burger and a side of BBQ Boneless Wings. He also ordered some Onion Rings which were delicious! We had room for desert so we split the Cheesecake Bites and the Ice Cream with Chocolate Cake. I enjoyed the Cheesecakes Bites and would definitely recommend these treats. I visited this location on a Sunday to catch the football game. It seemed like everyone else had the same idea, they were packed! Despite the crowd, our wait was only 5-10 minutes which was impressive. Our waiter was hilarious, which made the experience all the better. He was prompt with service and always joking with us. I regret that I didn't catch is name to put the spotlight on him here! He was knowledgeable about the drink menu and eager to give suggestions if anyone needed them. I've never been disappointed with BWW food and today was just like any other. Great wings that come out hot and fresh. Chips and queso were delicious and chips were still warm when brought to the table. I've always left pleased! This location has easily been one of my favorites to visit because of their staff. Had a pretty sad experience here. Service was pretty poor, our waitress disappeared for a long time right when we were looking to pay our check. I ordered boneless wings and they were super tough and dry. Waitress screwed up my husband's wing sauce order too. Very disappointing. My second visit to BWW was around 2 p.m. on a Tuesday. I hadn't come to eat, but to sit at the bar, nurse a beer and play some trivia. Only a half dozen barstools were occupado and no one was playing trivia. Fine by me. I asked the bartender for an IPA. She asked me for an ID. I had forgotten all about my first visit to the place. I was 64 back then, 66 now - and I had left my wallet in the car. "I don't have it with me," I said. "Just give me the beer. I'm 66, for Christ's sake." The couple to my right thought that exchange was funny. I didn't. "Stay there," she said. "I'll get the manager." Two minutes passed. "Screw this," I mumbled out loud, then rose from my barstool. "Don't blame you, bro," said the guy to my right. He looked around 17. Just as I turned to leave, the barmaid appeared and assured me everything was fine. So, I did stay and had one beer while playing two trivia matches. But that'll be my last visit to Frederick's Buffalo Wild Wings. Telling someone who's 30 that he looks like he might be under 21 is a compliment. Telling someone who's 66 that he looks like he might be under 21 is just friggin' annoying. read more

With large televisions throughout the restaurant and plenty of bar seating ( even a wall of half booths!), BWW is a great place for DRINKS. They have a large beer selection and game day drink specials. The food, frankly, blows. They changed the pricing of the wings so that now you're "guaranteed" the number you order but it's basically just a gimmick to charge more and serve less. I've tried the jerk and Asian zing wings and they were both blah. On a different visit, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it tasted like a larger version of a McChicken. The fries that come with it taste a lot like Popeye's, so they were okay. I've noticed that it seems the servers are trained to sit at your table (at least in the bar area) while taking your order. Maybe that's supposed to create a friendly repoire but I find it weird. Why are you sitting at my table, stranger danger??!! Do I get a friends and family discount since we're buddies now? We ordered appetizers first then it came out with our main meal. Then it was hard to try and get our waitress to get refills. She was just walking out to check on the table of men then goes in the back for at least 10-15 minutes. Then when we asked for refills, she would forget then goes back to the table of guys. Frustrating as we were.... As soon as we were done with the food... We waited another 45 minutes to get our check.... My brother said he's had this happen to him and his friends plenty of times. If I could give less than one star I would. The food was over cooked and slapped together. The service was horrid. We arrived after 7pm on a Saturday and they weren't very busy. The server didn't greet us but asked for our drink order. Okay rude but hopefully the food will be ok. We order nothing too complicated; an untoasted bun and plain burger and honey bbq wings all flats. Not rocket science. The food came out wrong. Honey mustard wings (who has ever heard of honey mustard wings) and a toasted bun with a burger with everything on it. Wow. So the rest of the table is eating except one person. The table is almost finished eating when the wings come out correctly. The server asked if we needed anything and we asked for napkins. Never saw her again. For 25 minutes she was a ghost. We got up and got our own napkins and refilled our own soft drinks. Oh but she did come to give us the check and to point out that the manager took off the honey mustard wings we didn't order in the first place. We were charged for the honey bbq wings. Ok fine. Food garbage. Service worse I've had in a long time. Go anywhere but here if you want quality food or service. I want to love this place, but I just cannot. Every time that I have been here something has been wrong. The first time, our waitress got our drinks and food wrong. Now, normally I am okay with a mishap but for real? It was Saturday BUT it was not busy at all, there were 4 people in the bar side. When she FINALLY checked on how our food was I told her what was wrong and she just walked off, no sorry or anything... I ordered another TOP SHELF long island which sat at the end of the bar for her to pick up for 10 minutes, then I finally went to the bar and picked it up. Two more rounds of drinks went the same way, ordered and we would have to do to the bar to get them.. Such a shame that we were forced to tell management who had the looks of horror on their face. Poor customer service, had to wait for almost an entire hour because staff said "they are at capacity" waited over 40 minutes for food. The kitchen closed later on, and they did not want to serve us because "its last call". Needless to say, over a dozen people had left, while others sat themselves and staff made excuses to not just clean one of the empty tables so we could sit after us standing for an hour. Later we watched staff keep serving drinks well after "last call" to multiple customers at different tables. Staff was not attentive to anybody, and blatantly could care less. I have been coming here for years to watch fights, and basic service progressively just gotten worse. Wasn't anything exception actually a bit slow for the large 13 person party we had. Semi kid friendly. My husband is regular in frederick store, all the staff are nice. Today my husband took my 18 months old daughter there, she ordered Mac &cheese , after they came home my husband told me she didn't eat much. At dinner I heated up her left over and found the reason she didn't eat much , the Mac and cheese are no good , smell bad after it heated up and I tasted one bite it's tasted sour. This is horrible and this food has eaten by my baby, what kind of quality control does this restaurant have, it's lucky that she didn't get sick.
