This BWW location is pathetic. I travel all over the country and have visited countless BWWs, and this location is the worst managed in their fleet. I went there early evening today with my wife and they were not very busy for a college football Saturday. We told the hostess that we wanted to sit in the bar, and he said there may be a wait. The bar area was almost empty. I said there's no one in the bar, and he said if I can find a spot , go ahead. We easily found an empty table - there were only two tables with guests in the whole bar!! We sat down, wait staff was walking around, but no one came over to acknowledge our presence. I flagged down a passing waiter after 10 minutes, and she said she would notify my waiter. Waiter came around and said she would be right back. Soon after, manager? came over and said we should not have been seated and there is a 30 minute wait!! There was no one waiting when we walked in!!!! We got up and left, and will never be back. I've been to this location many times and it has always been below par for the chain. I'm sure they'll blame lack of staff, etc. but the truth is their store management just sucks. Sunday afternoon and there were a ton of open tables/booths but waited 15 minutes to be seated. Ordered appetizer and the chips were covered in oil and chewy. I have been a long time customer of BWW. Not anymore-at least not the Gainesville, GA, Dawsonville Hwy location. I ordered take out in person on Monday, November 8th between 1-2 PM and ended up with crunchy boneless wings over cooked to the point of exploding when and if you could break them apart with your fingers with very little meat even in them- due to the chicken I am assuming drying up because they were so overcooked? I couldn't eat them- I ate my fries only. I didn't call immediately due to assuming there "couldn't have been a manager on duty for me to even talk to" because of what was happening while I was waiting on my food to go- I love dogs...I truly do- but there was a gentleman that went in and out of the kitchen 2 maybe 3 times that everyone was talking to and speaking with so maybe an employee that was not working? Well, he was carrying his Chihuahua in the kitchen with him. Like I said, I didn't say a word and wasn't going to- BUT when I called later that night (around 7:18PM) and it took 4 times to get anyone to even answer- when I knew their shift had changed to KINDLY ask if my food could be replaced with the same thing later in the week I was treated very disrespectful by a manager named Tayshia that actually stated she thought the reason I waited to call later instead of right when I got my order was because I was trying to only get free food or my money back after eating my meal! I was in AWE! She wasn't aware of my reason not calling was because I assumed there COULD NOT have been a manager on duty that would allow a dog, cat or any other pet in a kitchen and I wasn't going to complain about that...but it didn't matter- I couldn't get a word in edgewise- I was a crook- a thief- trying to steal more food- basically A $9.00 MEAL that might I add, I also left a tip on when it was a TO GO ORDER! I mean, really? I even had told the NICE and FRIENDLY Karla that I spoke with first that I was coming back in to order some wings for a football game the following Saturday and they could just replace my small order then- being I was going to spend probably $50 plus that day! The call ended with Tayshia screaming she was refunding my money and me telling her I didn't want it- she did refund my money which wasn't even the point. I only wanted my order corrected and to be treated nice and like a human- like I treated them. It's really sad because BWW just lost my business- at least in Gainesville. I called and made a complaint but I bet I won't even hear anything. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what but you shouldn't accuse a customer of this- ESPECIALLY over a $9 meal and the person left a TIP! BWW, please coach your managers that this isn't right to do this- otherwise, your location is going to start losing customers to Buffalos, Wild Wing Cafe or other places that at least you get good food and just someone nice. read more

These folks have very good wings. I'm not much of a hot hot food eAyer, I like my spicy a little mild. Buffaloes in Gainesville has that just right for me. I had their medium buffalo sauce and it was excellent. The lack of the fifth star has to do with the service. There were two servers working the dining area. I don't know if they were having a bad day or if this is their normal service but I had to flag one of them down to get a glass of tea field and I asked her for some extra sauce. She got the tea after stopping at several other tables but the ranch sauce never arrived. The other server, which was my actual server came back and I flagged her down. She said she would bring me more sauce and I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. She dropped off my check then brought the sauce after that. To me, they did not appear extremely busy but I don't know what else may have been going on. They charge an additional .60c each on ranch or blue cheese. Big screen TV's all around. The food and atmosphere reminds me of Taco Mac, but it's no where comparable. My friends and I came in tonight and we were seated in the dinning room area. Our server Ricky, walked past us at least three times before talking to the hostess to see if we were his. Once he realized he was our server, he never made eye contact with any of us, instead Ricky was to busy staring at another table. We could tell he didn't care one bit about taking care of us. My friend knows me and told me not to say something to Ricky (because I totally would have, and would have been rude about it), so instead I politely explain the situation to the hostess and ask if we can be moved to another section. She apologized and kindly moved us to the hightops where Tony took care of us. Tony never missed a beat! He was super pleasant and joking with us. This was the worst service I have ever had at a Buffalo Wild Wings. When I got there I asked for a high top. So I go to the bar side that is empty except the bartender and two other people whom I assumed worked there. I sat there for at least 5 min with my menu down so they would know I was ready to order. I had to get up and go ask the host if anyone was working the area she sat me in. Then she goes back in there and tells the three people in there that I'm waiting on a server. Turns out the other two people were my server and the manager. So she comes over and takes my order. I didn't wait to long for my food after. But after I got started I wanted a side of pickles. So I waited and waited for her to come back. So I again have to wave someone else down to ask for it. My server and the what I assume is the manager were to busy talking the majority of the time. This place was slow. I believe it was mostly the kitchen crew that was holding up the food. When we got the food most of it was good. The nachos however. Ugh! Seriously need some work! Chunks of lettuce thrown in on some nachos with chili and cheese. Chunks of lettuce mind you not just pieces of lettuce! Wings were good. Sweet tea out needed cleaning due to the taste of old tea you get when they haven't cleaned the tea pot in awhile. Will be awhile until I go again. I met a group of friends here last night, and it was the worst dining out experience I have had in Gainesville since I moved here 15 years ago. The restaurant was severely understaffed. We waited an hour to be seated and then waited another 20 minutes without any staff ever coming to take our orders or even explain what was taking so long. Heading back from NC when we stopped to watch the Iron Bowl. What better way to watch the game then munch on wings with more than 8 screens displaying the game. I order the large plate of Asian Zing wings and it was delicious as usual. Definitely my favorite flavor as they are sweet and savory with just the right amount of heat. First of all, I want to start out by saying that I love Buffalo Wild Wings. It's one of my favorite chain restaurants, and I've never had a bad experience at a BWW. Until now. My family and I walked into this location on Sunday afternoon. There were fairly busy, but we could see plenty of open tables, both inside and outside. We were told it would be about a 10 minute wait for a table. We thought that was odd, but let it go. I completely understand that a restaurant could be understaffed, etc, which explains why we needed to wait. However, as we were waiting, we watched many of the wait staff come up to the hostess just to chat and laugh. I'm all for a fun work environment, but it was clear they weren't understaffed or overwhelmed, and I found it annoying as there were people waiting for tables, and the servers weren't doing anything. We were finally seated. Our waiter came over and took our drink orders, and our order for our appetizer (fried pickles). They came fairly quickly, and were very tasty. We then were waiting for our mains. We ended up waiting for about 45 minutes until our food finally arrived. I ordered the same thing I always do, the buffalo ranch chicken wrap with crispy chicken, yet when the wrap arrived it was made with the grilled chicken. Any other time I would have said something (mistakes happen), but at that point we had been waiting for so long it didn't even seem worth it to me. All in all, skip this location, and check out Mall of Georgia's location instead. This place has a lot of issues to work out, and I won't be back. read more

The first impression is everything, correct? Well the first thing we see (as we pull in the lot) is one of the management staff parking their Jeep in the closest parking spot near the front door. That is just plain rude and inconsiderate. Second, the right front door has been 'stuck' or broken for over a year. It takes a few hard pulls to get it open unless you're the Hulk. Third, they are always short on staff. I will say the waiting staff that is currently working is extremely nice. BUT. . . Sometimes it takes 20-25 mins to get (non-crispy) wings.
