Let me start by saying, I want to write a good review, but they prevented me from doing this. I have been here several times and after tonite, I won't be back, Wild Wing Cafe is better. The server started the night by saying she was under a lot of stress, this was before we said anything. We got our appetizer, which was average, and didn't have any plates or silverware. Ten minutes later we got that and ate it. The soft pretzels were ok, but you can get better ones in the frozen section at Kroger. I got the prime rib salad with no dressing. After our waitress said she was under so much stress, I didn't ask for dressing. My wife asked for sauce on the side, nope, they coated them. Maybe we should have said something, but with how our waitress acted, we didn't. Overall the food was ok, but I would rather wild wing cafe food and they have better service. read more

Awesome atmosphere. Tuesday night about 6:30. We had our drinks for 30 minutes and still no wings on the table. Waitress is super nice and friendly. I'm thinking the kitchen just f ing sucks. We went to dinner last night before our New Years party, we were dressed up more than normal because of New Years. Our server spilled two large glasses of water all over me and my wife! I had water all over both my shirt and slacks! We were in a booth and it was so bad, we just moved tables. There was so much water my cell phone actually floated across the table... Thankfully I had a protective cover. The manager never came over and apologized or to check on us. To pay full price (nothing comp'd) to get soaking wet is insulting enough but for a manager to never acknowledge the situation is not acceptable! read more

Hostess had a terrible attitude like he hated his life right when we got in. I gave it a chance anyways which I don't usually do. The table, booth, and menu's were disgusting. The walls and floors were also disgusting. The bathrooms were also disgusting! The food was mediocre. The only good part was our server Tiffany. I'm just glad we had a gift card because I would never willfully spend my money here. I'm not from the area and I guess I should have read the reviews first. Went today to grab a Togo order, hostess wasn't there so a kind lady sat us at the bar to order from there. Then another lady with purple hair about 5' 9" she proceeded to be rude to me a few friends saying we need to move because regulars sit here and they are gone be here soon insinuating that we weren't buying drinks or anything from the bar so we left! Not the best service, waiting a while for my order (I understand that because many people go) and then when it got there I was missing some fries. They took another 20 minutes to give me some SMALL fries, and they still charged me for it, i mean if you gone do that might as well give them for free. When we go as just a family, service is mediocre at best. When we go as a large group, service is non-existent. I have served, I get it- you can't help it if the kitchen is not putting out as fast as you're putting in but you can at least let us know. The last 3 times we've been, we've waited over an HOUR for our food. AN HOUR FOR COLD FOOD. Not only did we wait an hour, only half of the table got their food; the other half was forgotten. One star is generous. I wish I had installed Yelp and read these reviews prior to going to this restaurant. I assure you, this will be the last time I do. The place wasn't packed; three waitresses were standing around at the bar chatting it up. We came in around midnight and were told by the hostess that the front section was closed, but that we could be seated in the back. I asked, "Can we still order food and be served in the back?" She answered, "Oh yes; the kitchen stays open until 2." We went to the restroom to wash our hands and should've taken a hint when the Buffalo Wild Wings employee exited the stall and walked out of the restroom without washing her hands! It was freezing cold and incredibly loud. After we ordered, we waited over an hour for our food. The waiter brought exactly one refill during that hour. We were told by the waiter at one point, "Folks, your order is coming out in eight minutes." It was twenty minutes later when I finally got up and left. I went to McDonalds and had finished my burger by the time the rest of my party got their food. My husband paid the bill (I wouldn't have!) and brought our food. The wings were rubbery and cold. Not appetizing and not a good value for the money. I had eaten at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Ohio and the service was great and food really tasty and satisfying. The owner of this Gainesville location needs to clean house on this one; it is doomed to lose money for its owner with service and product like this. Absolutely ridiculous. Horrible experience. This was the worst food experience I had ever had. There was a dine out for my school and clearly the staff couldn't handle the amount of people it took 2 hours to get our food eat and leave. I never got a refill our waitress took 10 minutes to run our cards and at that point I felt like she was stealing my information. I went to go ask to speak to a manager only to find the waitress who was supposed to be running our cards so we could leave just chatting and not doing anything. On top of that the food I got was absolutely terrible I have never had cake that bad and it was insanely overpriced. Food is the only decent thing. I'm sitting in the restaurant as I write this review. The dining area is filthy, trash and food items all over the floor. Several tables sit waiting to be busted/cleaned. All the while I count five employees sitting at a table in the dining area on their phones/ conversing with each other. I wish there were 0 stars as an available option. Not only did we experience SHOUTING for random birthdays during the game, but we were interrupted several times. Our appetizers took around 30 minutes to receive. When we finally placed an order for our meals, we waited about 90 minutes to receive it. The other three people I was eating with were starving but finally received their food. I, however, was still waiting on mine. After about 10 minutes into my friends enjoying their dinners, the waitress came over and informed us that my meal was not coming because she never placed the order. WHAT?! After I absorbed this and was ready to forgive the mistake, she asked me if I still wanted my meal even thought it would take another 90 minutes to receive. SERIOUSLY? I was in absolute disbelief that a server would treat us that way! 5 star restaurants didn't take that long to taste a perfectly cooked steak. This is the second BWW I've been in. The first was in Ohio which I loved. The one in Gainesville is so different. The place was very loud and my son was only about 16 months when we went. The place is a bit pricy for the meals. Nothing on the menu is really a diet food either. With people trying to eat more healthy you'd think they would have more options. First visit at this location. It opened within the last two years so I figured it would be pretty good. My boyfriend took me out for a late dinner tonight. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly hostess. We asked for a booth and she offered a half-booth for us. I pointed to a booth across the room and asked if we could sit there instead. She denied, stating that that side of the dining area was closed...the store wasn't even closing for another 2.5 hours. Feeling restricted, we accepted the second-rate seating, almost conjoined with a full table of 6-7 people with smaller children just a few feet from us. The booth seat was sunk in and felt uncomfortable. We asked our server if it was possible to move to a booth close by and she had no problem with that. She cleaned off the table promptly and re-seated us. Our new waitress was fairly nice. She made sure we had plenty of napkins and did a good job of keeping our drinks filled. The music set a great mood in the restaurant. We ordered chicken nachos, but the waitress served us chili nachos. They still tasted okay, so we didn't bother sending them back. Next we ordered 18 wings. We received an order of only 16 wings, so we let the waitress know. She mumbled "I counted them out..." but it was obvious that she hadn't. She came back in 2 minutes with a couple of cold, old-tasting, shriveled "wings" with ranch drizzled on top of them...not the way the other wings were even served. She set them down and disappeared quickly without a word, so I'm guessing she knew she was serving us crappy food. My boyfriend and I tried a bite of the wings anyway, and I immediately knew from the overly-crunchy texture that they were not at all fresh. When the waitress came back around I was very blunt with her (and I'm usually never like this but the situation provoked me). I told her the wings were pathetic and that they looked like someone dug them out of the trashcan to serve to us. I told her I knew it wasn't her fault because she had to bring us whatever the cooks gave her. Then I requested that we wouldn't be charged for 18 wings because that isn't the amount we received. She said "Okay," and she never apologized or seemed sorry. She came back after a while and said "My manager took off some of the money from your check." When we looked at the check, we saw that the manager had taken off $1.68 from our around $25 total. That was an insult to me. The "manager" should have taken off at least twice that amount for our inconvenience and for having to deal with their poor service. Even a simple face-to-face apology would have eased the whole situation. We never even saw the manager. And the restaurant wasn't that busy either. No one went out of their way to make us feel like valued customers. We were prepared to leave a decent tip before leaving, but after we considered the apathetic manner in which we were treated, we decided against it. Our waitress was HORRIBLE! this isn't the first time I've had her and all three times have been consistent. I swear, I died of thirst like 2 times today while waiting on a refill (it never came BTW). I had to ask for the napkins and trays for my wings she never came after she got our order. She came after we finished and asked if we were alright and needed refills (it was too late at that point). I would understand if you guys were busy or understaffed, but neither of those seemed like the case. My husband and I went for A late lunch we were the only people in the restaurant. we ordered just an appetizer and drinks the waitress proceeded to double charges on the drinks and when I tried to get her to correct it she was nowhere to be seen. Then when I finally got her attention and pointed in the mistake,her response was oh I saw that and I couldn't figure out how to get it removed, then she took the check back removed the double charge and then handed it to me. WOAH. Be very careful here. I found curled fish feces in my fish tacos, the african-american manager on duty was very rude and said I was insane, and furthermore the waitress only attended my drinks ONCE. - I gave them one more attempt, with wings not fish, again horrible service, and I will say this -- they way over-serve alcohol as I saw one woman get at least 4 heavy drinks in under an hour.
