The wings are always good but honestly the service is way below average and consistently terrible. Last time I went we had to wait over an hour for 16 wings. Other tables that were sat after us were served before us while we stayed waiting. One of the other customers said they were waiting 2 hours just to be served food. "Well... that's what you get when you order a burger from a wing place." My neighbor said that after I showed him the burger. Do be clear, this is the first time ordering from DoorDash and Buffalo Wild Wings. DoorDash works most of the time so I don't think I should blame them. Special instructions were pretty basic: no red onions and add pickles if possible. It came without onion rings and no pickles. lol. So I have attached pictures of what I ordered and what I got. It's just sad. Probably won't be having Buffalo Wild Wings again, especially not a burger. So good luck y'all on your orders. Review #11! 3.5 stars all around. Brand new to the area and had to check out what all the hype is about. I've never been to this chain before despite the fact that I see them almost every where I go. The lunch crowd on a week day was smaller than expected but no complaints. The hostess just stood there for a good minute before greeting us/asking us "how many?" which I thought was awkward. She just stood there! On the other hand our server was good. Greeted us and took our drink order right away. I opted for their strawberry lemonade, which was made at the bar with little bits of strawberry and lemon slices, it was sweet and refreshing. As for the food, we shared a small order of wings, with the choice of two sauces, we did Honey BBQ and Spicy Garlic. The honey BBQ was ok and spicy garlic tasted more like vinegar with a little kick at the end. Wings were served with a side of veggies sticks and ranch. The salad was decent but I felt the chicken on the Mediterranean lacked its "lemon pepper" flavor. It could have been the tzatziki dressing. All in all, very clean hence it's still new, lots of parking and lots of things to look at. Noise level was high but not overwhelming specially with a sleeping infant. We decided to have dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings here in Gilroy tonight. Its Halloween & the 49ers were playing so we thought it would be a fun night out. We had read some of the reviews prior to going, and they weren't very good. When we arrived, our waiter Ben introduced himself and we told him that the reviews we had read were pretty sad. Well, I have to say, Ben was awesome! He took our drink orders & got our appetizers right away. The game had begun, so he wasn't pushy but he kept checking in with us & brought us drink refills & said just to let him know if & when we wanted to order more food. We stayed for the entire game, had plenty to eat and BEN was a great server! Thank you for making our Halloween and the 49er game so enjoyable! read more

To General Manager Alonso de Alba: My boyfriend and I came in at 630pm to dine outside at the patio. We waited over 10 minutes to be seated, which the text said we would be seat between 5-10 minutes. We didn't mind the waiting, but when it came to having another couple being seated before us, we felt a bit annoyed, but we let it slide. We then were seated and waited about 20 minutes for a server to come and get our order, but noticed another couple that were seated after us got served before we ever did. We were never attended by any server and at that point we felt our presence was pretty much neglected. I don't know what happened, but either more staff or better training for staff to be more cognoscente of who was there first and waiting first is needed. We then decided to leave elsewhere. It was her third day of working there because she told us that when I asked about a certain menu item... Gave her the benefit of the doubt... my husband was served first and only he was served first with his dinner. Mine came about 20 minutes later... And our three grown adult Kids were sitting at the table with no food, and my husband was able to finish his ENTIRE meal before they even got theirs... I ordered a sprite and it did not have anything but seltzer water in it so that was really disgusting... we had to basically flag down servers to get our waters refilled, which was a joke... overall horrible experience, and will never be going back!! so if you don't go there to eat, you're fine but if you're starving, you're going to either be waiting a very long time or not get served at all until your flag someone down!!! read more

We went there for dinner on a Friday night. We were told it would only be a 10 minute wait for a party of 2. We were seated 30 minutes later. Once seated, we had to flag down a waiter after waiting 20 minutes to be waited on. Waited another 15 minutes for our drinks to come. When our food came to the table,it was only half of our order. We tried to order take out and it took them 10 minutes for anyone to even address us and after finally ordering they said it would take them 20 minutes to finish the order. After waiting 20 minutes we asked about the order and they said it's coming. 40 minutes later there was still no order and every server seemed to try to be avoiding us. After 50 minutes passed we asked for a refund and they didn't even acknowledge that it took a long time. They just processed it and that's it. Horrible horrible service. Went yesterday to watch Giants playoff - comedy of errors - Ordered wings, wedge salad, pretzel bites and drinks. Wings came out first, no apps. Then finally pretzels come out - "sorry we have no cheese sauce" it all must be frozen. Asked the manager - you don't have a microwave back there???? Her answer was "no" - REALLY? - No offer for napkins or silverware - Wedge salad never came, then they come when we are almost done and ask me if Romain lettuce is OK for the salad? Ever eaten a wedge salad? The "wedge" is in the name, there is no Romain involved. "Sorry sir, we don't have iceberg today" - Then tell your staff before hand what on the menu is not available today! Like cheese and Iceberg lettuce! Drinks, ordered doubles, got singles. Went up to the bar to order my drink directly and was told by the bartender (NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AT ANY RESTAURANT - EVER) "Sorry, we cannot serve you because you are at a table" I said, hey I'll pull up a chair and open a new tab - "Sorry sir, that is our policy". I even said we are not paying on the same tab! So I asked the manager, if I was sitting in the corner you would have never known I was here so what s the difference? "Sorry that is our policy". No one offered to even comp our less than average pretzels without cheese and the servers all appear to be clueless and not in the game. I would rather go all the way to San Jose to get better service - never a problem there. I am so disappointed in this location......they need a complete overhaul on staff. Oh and since the wings came out first - it was apparently a mistake because they tried to deliver another set of wings as we were signing the check #SMH. Last - they are trying a new check signing process to your cell phone to check out and that does not work well either......I was so happy to get home by the 5th inning and enjoy the rest of my evening. To start off I used to come here every couple of weeks and now I only come here on a last resort. I'd rather drive up all the way to San Jose than this Gilroy location. You'll get much better service and timing in San Jose. Service is mediocre at best. The customer service here has gone downhill after the best servers have up and left. I've been seated by the host and had a server completely ignore us to the point where management had to lie and say "your server has asked me to come get your drinks started since she is busy. And she will come touch bases with you later." I pay attention to my surroundings often and not once did I see our server talk to this manager. She was also on her phone just just chatting with a table that may have been her friends. And not shocking the server didn't talk to us one time the entire visit! She checked on every table but ours. It was almost as if she was avoiding our table because the manager took our drink order so she thought she didn't have to work with us. I had to place our food order with the management. We finally get our food (takes a loooong Time here so be willing to wait) and the runner drops my fiancé's food on a dirty table and we now have to wait even longer for his. No biggie things happen. The manager finds out and tells us she wants to comp us a appetizer for him since it would come out fast. I appreciated this gesture although we declined. I finally got up and complained telling the manager that our server still hasn't even introduced herself and asked her for utensils since we never got any. So for about 45 minutes to an hour our server hasn't talked to us at all but talked to tables right next to us. Management finally has another server from across the restaurant take over our table. Isn't the restaurant server etiquette to check on your tables after each phase of the meal? Extremely disappointing but alas not entirely shocking due to our previous experiences here. Keep in mind this is only one of the terrible experiences we've had. Other times we've been given frozen food and on another separate occasion with hair in it. At this point I don't even know why we kept being returning patrons. After this I don't think we will ever come back. The wings aren't worth it. It seems like they are understaffed and just desperate to hire anyone at this point. Which explains why the service is so terrible. They don't have much to choose from. Food is good depending on what you get. But know it'll take forever for them to get it to you even on a slow day. I don't know if it's just me, but every Buffalo Wild Wings I've gone to has slow customer service, or the food takes forever to come out - including this one. The wait for food is something I'm used to, but one of my friends I went with didn't get his beer until we asked our server where it was. We ordered two blue moons, one Mountain Dew, and two strawberry lemonades. We got all of the drinks including the first blue moon, but the second one didn't come out for over 10 minutes after that. I wouldn't mind if it's due to the restaurant being busy, but they were not busy to begin with... The service is horrible.... every time I have come here, I get seated quickly..... it takes at least 15 minutes to get a beverage and order...... then you wait, and wait, and wait. The last time I went there 4 of us, ordering normal stuff and it took 45 minutes to be seated and receive the food. Total trip was an hour and a half from arrival to leaving.
