Not sure what's going on with BWW. They use to be such a great place to get wings and watch a game. The last three times have been so bad. The service was pretty good, but the food quality vs the price is not. I always order my wings the same way. A medium Chipotle BBQ rub with extra rub, flats only, extra crispy. Same way...every time. The last few times, the wings have been undercooked, had almost no rub on them and were just flavorless. I said something to the server the last time and he brought out extra rub, but that just wasn't right either...they should have remade them correctly. Two stars for convenience. Came in on a Sunday evening. Service was okay. Waitress was nice. Biggest downside? She took my drink before I was even done (I mean a 3/4 full beverage) She did make another after I mentioned it. I had the "Cajun Po'boy". And it was terrible. Nothing Cajun about it. Probably one of of my favorite locations, although it could improve on a few things. Came in here twice with my boyfriend on a Tuesday afternoon for the 70 cents traditional. First off, both times we've came in the hostess seemed like she was in a bad mood. When we got to our table, our waitress was nice, and the food was fast. As soon as we got our food, 30 second later our server came and brought us our bill. It was kind of annoying, like she was in a rush. This has happened twice. Oh boy.. the service is horrendous! And, that's a nice way to put it. I came in for a bite to eat with a party of six and it seemed as though they never handled a party over the size of four before. Things were just hectic. We walked in on a Monday evening at about 6:45 pm and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. 20 minutes on a Monday evening? I am not sure why but this restaurant is significantly smaller than the rest of the Buffalo Wild Wings in the area. It must hold 100 people at most. When we sat down, we waited another 10 minutes to be greeted by our server who seemed new and uninformed about how to do his job. Wait an additional 5 minutes for soft drinks. I ordered a top shelf long island (one of my favorites) and it took 10 minutes to get that from the bar. In fact, the server didn't even bring it over -- it was what looked like a manager running his bar drinks for him. We ordered our food right after receiving our drinks so we didn't have to wait another six hours to order. The food came up fairly quickly but our food was a little cold. Well, it wasn't cold but it wasn't hot.. more so room temperature and wings aren't too great at that temperature. Oh well, we ate anyways. Waited another 15 minutes for the check and 10 minutes to get our credit card back after it left the table. It was just a mess. After everything was over, we spent a lot of money for food that was mediocre at best, drinks that were "eh", an experience that is just average and for service that was worse than what my 97-year-old grandmother may be able to provide. Just was no where close to being worth the prices we paid. I will not be coming back here any time soon and I think the only time I may come back is if I am forced to. read more

We visited this location a few months after they opened. When we arrived, it took 10 minutes to be seated (this wasn't a busy night), and then we were ignored by our waiter for 25 minutes after being seated. We asked the hostess to be seated in a different section and were moved. Once we got seated again we suddenly got drinks and were able to place our order. This review would end there, but the kitchen screwed up our order a total of 5 times, and we settled on the 5th time because it just wasn't worth the effort anymore. How hard was it to screw up a snack sized boneless wing with honey barbecue and a medium sized traditional wing order in medium sauce is beyond me. I digress though. Today we decided to give them one last chance. It was a decent crowd but there are about half the seats open. It took 20 minutes to get a seat, so we had our order ready as soon as we were seated and ordered at that time with our waiter. 30 minutes later we got our food, but they forgot to even cook or place our starters with the kitchen. This specific location always seems to have weird excuses about things like they don't have this and they don't have that. A group of 8 of us had an excellent experience at this location. We came on April 28, which happened to be boneless Thursday. It was also the first night of the NFL draft. While the place was pretty busy/crowded, we only waited about 10 minutes before being seated. They were giving away samples of a grapefruit beer as we sat down, which was pretty cool. At first the place is a little overwhelming with the number of tvs, but you do get used to it. Our server's name was Katelyn and she did a FANTASTIC job with such a huge group of us (and we even needed our checks split in a few different ways and she was SO patient with that) She took our drink orders, and they came out quickly. We all basically knew what we wanted to eat so we ordered, and our food came out within 20 minutes which was totally reasonable. The food was excellent. They put a lot of sauce on their wings which I really like cause some locations barely put any sauce on at all! Also, Asian Zing is the way to go!!! Spicy Garlic is another good sauce. Additionally, the location seemed relatively clean. There was a strange white stain on the carpet near our table but besides that I have no complaints. Katelyn checked on us many times. She was very friendly and happy and I was impressed with her service. Like seriously, she was the HIGHLIGHT of our visit (besides the good food!) I hope that some one in management reads this and is able to give her the positive feedback. Too often you go to a restaurant where your server is quite obviously miserable. Katelyn was a joy. Came with my family to enjoy a meal but it didn't turn out as plan. The waitresses every nice and polite but food wise was different. I order boneless chicken wings and they came chill like if they where sitting there a good while. My wife order an avocado burger and all she got was a pile of Mayo with brown avocado smash. To make Matters worse my child Mac and cheese was bland and it looked like they water down the cheese sauce cause it was so liquidy. The Sierra Mist tasted more like tonic water then soda. Holy smokes. What a mess. Drink service slow. 2 of 5 meals sent back due to being cold. Had to ask the host to see if I could get a refill on my drink. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because our waitress was nice. However, I wouldn't recommend this stop and I don't intend to return on purpose. My friends and I were road tripping on a camping trip and we stopped to have dinner. When we walked in, the staff was nice and told us we would have a 10 minute wait...which wasn't bad for a Friday night. However, I felt it was odd since the place had a lot of empty (but dirty) tables. No big deal though, we waited. While waiting, I went to the bathroom and I do have to say the stalls were very clean and spacious. Once we got our table, (we were a table of 5), our waitress came and asked us our drinks. We ordered and about 15 minutes later, our drinks arrived. That was a little longer for a water. However, we stayed positive. We then ordered our food....about 30 minutes later. We received it. Now 30 minutes is a long time, but it's even longer when there are NOT a lot of people in the restaurant. There were empty tables all around us AND there was a TON of staff. Our table was having a great time so we stayed positive but we did start to question the timeliness of the place after 25 minutes. When we received our food, my fries were VERY cold. Not even lukewarm. :( I asked if the waitress could reheat it, and she did. I ordered the corn dogs and they were very good. My order was a complete mess, the wings boxes were messy with sauce all over, I wanted my salad with no cheese and with carrots, the salad had no carrots and had cheese. Worst experience ever at any restaurant period. The hostess was mean mugging my girlfriend. They said they had no booths yet there was several open booths. It only gets worse. Waitress took for ever to ask what we wanted to drink. She seemed to not be in any way even try to act like she enjoyed her job, just plain rude. This restaurant was a MESS. The floor, menus, even crusty salt and pepper shakers. The host almost sat us at a dirty table and then had us stand in the middle of the dining room until he took us to a different table at the other side of the restaurant. It wasn't busy, but every inch of the floor was covered in food and trash and nobody was making an effort to clean that or the dirty tables around us. Manager was nowhere to be found and the news was BLARING throughout the restaurant. It was a Sunday but nobody could take the time to switch to music or anything different after the football game. Our server was sweet and attentive but I felt bad for her. As a person who's worked in the industry a long time I get that sometimes it can get busy and things happen....But it wasn't even busy! I usually love Buffalo Wild Wings, however tonight was horrible. My boyfriend and I went out for a date, and wanted wings. Our servers name was Derrick, he was the reason tonight was horrible. I've been going to Buffalo Wild Wings for years, and I have never had service this bad. When we were seated the first thing he said was what do you want to drink, no polite small talk. Then he was very condescending while we ordered, and never asked how our food was. We spent about an hour at the restaurant, he came to our table 5 times, and 2 of those times he was getting our orders. He only asked about our waters. I had to ask for a refill and when I did he only brought one, even though my boyfriend needed water as well. Overall I was very very dissatisfied with the service. I had to find him so that we could get boxes for our food. I will be making a complaint to the manager, this ruined my evening and left a bad taste in my mouth. I've visited many Buffalo Wild Wings locations in the past and have had many wings, but the service here greatly fall short of my expectations. I did the reformulated blazin challenge and finished it. I was told that my next visit they would take off $15 off my bill. The manager replied that they haven't done that in years. So they didn't honor their end of the bargain. Not to mention prices at this location have increased to $.70 for boneless wings Food and service was slow, by the time the boneless wings were out, I had to send them back to reheat them. If you are going to prepare wings, make sure they get out in time. Same with drinks. Refills took quite a bit of time which shows lack of organization between the staff. Also unlike other B-Dubs I've been to they don't even offer a military discount. If you are deciding on a B-Dubs in the area I recommend going to Mundelein/Vernon Hills where they have quality and service down that maximizes efficiency. I don't plan on going here anymore until some serious changes take place. Also as a side note when ordering To go, make sure you count the wings and verify it's the correct amount. With the service I figured it would be alright if I didn't check the amount, but I had a nagging feeling I should, so when I counted they charged me for an additional wing I never got. I brought it up to my waitress, and they got me an additional wing but it was barely seasoned. This place is a disgrace to the franchise that I have come to love. read more

This is the worst BDubs we've ever been to. It is on the same grounds as Gurnee Mills, a big outlet mall. Service is horrible, on all fronts. Wings come out half covered in sauce. I left a 10% tip two times ago. Waitress was young and slow as could be. Last time, we waited in the front for 10 minutes to be seated. Place was empty, and this was during Christmas. The experience in this place in Gurnee Mills Mall was very bad; we arrived around 7:30 PM: 1) had to wait for someone to come and seat us; 2) took about 20 min to get the appetizers; 3) more than another 20 min to get the wings; 4) for all four of us half of the wings were not covered with the seasoning and the souses - dry chicken skin; 5) the celery was old and brown, the carrots were old and soft. We stopped there for dinner last night, and I called from the parking lot to inquire about the wait time, and was told immediate seating. We went in, and had to wait 15 minutes for a table, and the host was super rude about it. When we finally got seated, it took another 15 minutes to be acknowledged, so we ordered drinks and chips & salsa right away. Drinks came pretty much immediately, but it took 20 minutes and a conversation with the Hospitality Manager to get our chips and salsa. Other tables were getting served and leaving before our food even came out. The food itself was good, although the service was lacking from start to finish.
