We were in Lexington for a soccer game this evening. We drove up from Charleston, had a great game with a 2-0 win and some of the team wanted to go celebrate with a dinner. Chose BWW due to some of the kids wanting wings. Showed up and they were able to accommodate our fairly large group into 4 tables in a timely manner. During ordering the parents made sure to tell the waiter and waitress who's kids belonged to who for billing purposes. Food was ordered and began to trickle out in a decent amount of time. Now, why the 2 stars?!? Most people received their orders in a timely matter. However 5 minutes after almost everyone had their food, I had to call the waiter over and ask where my order was. Also one of the players had not received hers yet. Turns out, mine was never made. The player's order had been brought out, but only one of the four tables was asked if anyone had ordered the items....no one had, so instead of asking the other tables, it was just returned to the kitchen without the player even knowing it was brought out. By the time I got my food and the player received hers, EVERYONE else was already done and we had to take ours to go because it took so long.....unacceptable. Everyone else paid their bills and left while we continued to wait. Then we finally get our bill and what do we see.....2 random food items costing about $14 that we did not order. This happened even though we explicitly pointed out who our kids were that should be on the bill. We told the waiter we had not ordered those items so we're not going to pay for them. Manager comes out and says she can't remove the item because it was eaten by someone in our group. I told her she should have placed the right items on the right bills, but she had major attitude. Not my problem they can't keep track of what correct items go on each bill. Remember everyone else had already left. No such thing in the customer being right at this venue. The argumentative attitude from the manager and the fact that part of our order was never put through causing such an unacceptable delay show me this place needs a customer service overhaul big time. What saved it from a 1 star was that our waiter was really trying hard and the food was good (once we got everything). Wasn't his fault the kitchen dropped the ball big time. When it was all said and done, I still ended up paying for some $10 Mac and Cheese thing that we NEVER ordered, but we had to leave at that point for the 2 hour drive back to Charleston. In the end, BWW should have eaten the cost of the Mac and Cheese since they fudged the bills. Also should have comped my meal and the player's meal for screwing the orders up. All their fault, but the obnoxious manager did her best to put the blame on us. Maybe the higher ups with BWW will see this and want to do something to make it right....?! The food was okay but if you order boneless wings off the kids meal and request mild sauce, make sure you double check whether the sauce is actually mild first because despite ordering a kids meal with mild sauce, the morons in the kitchen at this location apparently though a kid wanted their spicy sauce. This is the worst place to go. I brought my kids in for my bday lunch before they went to see there father. I had collected enough points to make this a very special lunch. Well my daughter and I ate the blue cheese dressing with the wings. (Tasted a bit off but it was ok with wing sauce) we were so incredibly sick with food poising the kids dr. Agreed and so did my office. I've tried calling a couple times. My son was the only lucky one that didn't eat it. This is one of the better sports bars in the Lexington area. The atmosphere is generally loud and fun, just the way a sports bar should be. The service is generally pretty good, although I seem to have found the one stoner in the bar for my waiter. Him aside, the service is spot-on. The beer choices are about what you'd expect from a chain sports bar, but they're served promptly. The best-kept secret in Lexington, though, is the sweet tea here. Being a Southern boy, I love my sweet tea, and this was a pleasant surprise. The food is pretty damn good, too. I tried the teriyaki boneless chicken wings, and the regular teriyaki wings. I have to say that, while I liked the boneless wings, the regular ones really were well-done. Their fries are great, especially with the salt-and-pepper seasoning they cook them with. Our daughter wanted to eat here and I was aware of the overall yelp reviews. Yelp nails it again. From the time we walked in the door, the wait staff seemed in a fog. We were sat pretty fast but sat for 15 minutes before the staff asked us to order. My wife asked for her burger well done. I ask for medium but the staff said only well done for burgers. Well done ok, but not dry and leathery. Yep, it came dry and leathery. The fries were good though. We were asked only 1 time if we liked the food. Other than that, we had empty water glasses and they didnt come back. Hince, the bad reviews for service. The dining room seemed to have 100 TV's and were very loud. Reminds me of an adult Chuck E. I used to frequent the B dubs in my college town but hadn't been to one in years. We went here on a Saturday night. It was pretty crowded we were told it would be a 15 minute wait for two, however we snatched a high top in the bar section and didn't have to wait. Our server was great, she was fast and kept our water and beers full. My husband and I both ordered wings. I ordered hot and boy were they hot! Delicious, but hot! I think I was feeling a little overly ambitious but if you like hot and tasty then I would suggest going here. We also ordered french fries which I loved! They were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and hot! Only pit was the salads we got to start. My caesar salad was awful. It's a fun place to go, but the food is not very good. I order the spinach & artichoke flatbread and every time I get it, it is not done. It's always a sloppy, nasty mess in the center, and the flatbread is not even brown on the bottom. I was told by a manager it's because it's lunch, and they just opened, so the oven isn't hot enough yet. Why offer them at lunch then? Because that's not true. We went for dinner the other night and it was the same wy. I have never had a fresh meal there, because my dish always gets sent back two or three times, so by that time the chicken on top is dried out and nasty. We all got wings and started eating them, and it turns out the were not fully cooked. there was blood still in them. We sent them back and the manager came out. He told us he would personally take care of the wings. He came back with them and they were still under cooked with blood. He came out again and gave us the speech and offered coupons. We ordered from this BWW via Door Dash because we are not local and wanted something easy and familiar for lunch. Ordered simple things - a large order of traditional wings and a double cheese burger. That's it. Large order of wings should have at least 18 wings according to their own menu - we got 15 - so apparently counting is not their strong suit. The cheeseburger was not edible. The meat tasted as if it were rotten and we threw it away. The young lady who delivered the food told us the food was not ready for pickup when they notified her it was ready. So it sounds like Management needs to do some work here. When you send out less than promised and rotten food, not even a strong brand name will keep customers coming back. read more

Buffalo Wild's food, sports bar atmosphere in Lexington. The flavors were exceptional. Presentation of the food was great. A host of items on the menu, offering something for the whole family. The shop is both clean and tidy, having plenty seating space and a nice bar. The hostess/ waitress was attentive at all times. Staff members there greeted us in/ out when we left. The food was more than filling, loved all the dishes thus far. I'll certainly be returning soon and would recommend this facility. read more

I love (not this one) BWW and Ive dined in here quite a bit since COVID began, giving this location the benefit of the doubt with their quality of service and food; however, this BWW is absolutely the worst. Food has been cold when served, appetizers come after meal, everyone in your party receives their food at different times, little things like napkins aren't available, and drink selections aren't what you ask for. I have had some really good meals and experiences sitting at the bar, as bartenders are pretty attentive usually. If I was judging on that, maybe 4 stars (which is great for a chain place). Sitting in the main dining room? maybe 1 star. Typically our food comes out jacked up, drink refills take forever, couldn't tell you if a manager even works there as one has never stopped over. The kids like it here, so sometimes, im begrudgingly forced to go. Their point/bonus/loyalty program is total crap. Crap x 100. I have had 4 visits now in a row that never showed up on my app, even after opening tickets with support - forwarding the receipts, and following up once a week without a reply. The only thing that I had going for us was that I got some sort of reward for sitting through a painful meal to keep the kids happy, and that doesn't work apparently. So this restaurant can't seem to figure out that people use online ordering to avoid standing in line, so they make you stand in line with all of the other take out customers who are trying to order. The manager seemed to think they were doing the best that they could. If that's their best, they need new management. Or to be replaced. My family and I went in tonight for a meal (party of 5 total). We arrived shortly after 6:00. They were busy but not full. We were seated in a timely manner - and unfortunately that's where the 'timeliness' of our meal stopped. We sat for approximately 10 minutes (I know because after about 2 or 3 minutes I started watching my watch since this isn't the first time we've had really slow service) before the waitress came to our table to take our drink orders. Because we sensed it was going to be 'one of those nights' we ordered our food at the same time. Our drinks were 2 adult waters and 2 juices to go with our older 2 kids meals. Our 18-month old (luckily) had his own sippy cup of milk on-hand. It took another 10 minutes before our drinks arrived. Having now sat for 20 minutes with very little attention from our server, I figured we were clearly in for a less-than-stellar meal. Another 8-10 minutes passed and our food arrived. The food was correct and hot (to my surprise) - but we still didn't have silverware. Our server brought 2 sets of silverware and then, after verbalizing that perhaps it would be good if she brought 2 more, brought the requisite 4 sets of silverware. We ate our meals and were done within about 20 minutes without another visit from our server to check on drinks or the food. After we finished eating, I instructed my 2 boys to help self-bussing our table...hoping to signal we were through. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting had passed, I suggested my wife take our 3 boys to the car and leave me to wait on the check (hoping that the packing up activity and now-almost-empty table would signal the need to hurry). To no avail. My wife on her way out had to mention to the hostess that I was still sitting at the table waiting on a check. Finally our server returned (for only the 4th time to the table in the entire 1-hr plus meal) with the check. She mumbled an apology for the wait. I had my credit card ready to go because now that my family was in the car waiting on me I really had no patience for small talk or the apology. I was surprised that the hostess (or manager) that my wife spoke to hadn't attempted to comp any part of the ticket since it was clear that our service had been poor. She returned my card and the bill in the most prompt exchange of the evening and I left. This experience would not have been so unforgivable had it not been for the number of times that our server (and the others on-duty tonight) walked right past our table (heads / noses in the air) looking at and attending to the tables immediately around us. I've given up on this particular BWW and will more than likely never return which is a bummer since my middle son loves the food and was the reason we went tonight. Guess he'll have to pick another restaurant...shouldn't be too hard since there are several good ones that have much better service around Lexington. Don't waste your time. Avoid them like the plague. read more

Horrendous service. We walked in and were promptly seated in the bar area, then were promptly ignored. Though multiple servers walked by our table, none acknowledged us. After waiting ten minutes with still no service, a man and his daughter walked in and were immediately approached for drinks. We got up to leave & complained to the hosts about not getting a server, and they only acknowledged us with an "I'm sorry" and little more. You know the prices of this place, they're kind of high but personally I like the food and I think it's worth it. I'm more of a nacho fan than anything else so that's usually what I get.
