My partner and I visited BWW a few weeks ago on a Saturday night to get out of the house. We showed up around 7pm and they said there was a 20-30 min wait which is fine but I didn't quite understand as there were a bunch of tables not seated and bar tops available. The girl at the front said we couldn't even just go sit at the bar we still had to wait. So fine we walked around and came back and immediately got sat. We then got greeted by our server who brought us our drinks and said she would give us a few minutes to order our food. We waited 30 additional minutes at our table as I guess our server just disappeared and it took any other staff member 30 mins as they saw us looking around to ask if we are okay or ordered yet. We explained that we were waiting and she never came back. He took our order and put it in and that was that... didn't do anything about it. Food arrived, well 4 out of 5 meals, and server tells us to enjoy and goes to leave. We remind them we are missing a meal. 15 minutes later, with no acknowledgment that they forgot a meal, the final meal arrived undercooked (assuming a rush job since interior was cold and exterior breading was warm) as everyone else is finishing their food. I finally found a wing I like it BWW. I like the Desert Heat, which is the hottest dry rub they offer and I get a side of the Blazin Sauce to dip them in which is their hottest sauce. Our waitress here was very nice and paid special attention to my two year old grandson that was with us this night. She made sure his drink was always filled and got his food out fast. Horrible. This place has items on the menu but they're not actually available in the restaurant. The water is absolute garbage well water. The new Philly cheesesteak has the LEAST amount of meat that I've ever seen on a sandwich. The restaurant & restrooms are clean so I'll give them that. They'll have 1 server at any given moment who becomes overwhelmed with tables (that's on the managers trying keep payroll down while providing bad service). The quality of wings has gone to the toilet. The business model of this company has changed so many times they can't seem to get it right anymore. The customers are equally as bad. Kids running around in the bar area while parents ignore them. Kids poring salt on chairs, leaving trails of garbage around the restaurant. Patrons, be better & control your children. Attempted to have lunch around 2:00 on Wednesday, July 3rd at the Mchenry location. No staff in eye sight at all. No greeter at the door. After waiting a while we were never helped by anyone and left to go eat elsewhere. Very few customers were there at the time so it would not be from being too busy to help us. Restaurant 3/5. Waitress (Stephanie) 4.5/5 Came here last night and it wasn't too busy, however the service was decent. Our waitress was a little over worked and she probably could of used a hand with some of the tables however she did a great job. Took about 10 minutes to get the drinks and menus, but the food came out quick right after that. The wings were not as good as the usually are, but who knows being the day after Christmas they were probably getting back into the routine after a few days off. The wings could've used just a little more sauce on them, but nothing worth complaining about. All in all the food was decent and service was good, considering they were understaffed. The food was great we sat in the dinning area and the place looked busy but our food was great and our server was great.

I was debating about posting something but felt I should in hopes it helps turn this place around. Me and my husband have been to this location twice, once in July and just last night 11/23/2022. By far the worst BWW I have been to. The first time in July we sat at the bar and the poor kid who was "bartending" was definitely not a bartender but was a server having to fill in because people sat at the bar but he didn't know much about the bar. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my husband ordered 20 wings, my sandwich came out with cold fries but I let that go. However after about 20-25 minutes after I got my food, my husband had not yet received his food. Mind you this was just a random Thursday night and it was NOT busy at all. We were obviously annoyed, said something and just got his wings to go and left. On 11/23/2022 we decided to give this place another chance, worst idea. We got there a little after 7:30PM and not only was there a group of teenagers doing god knows what in their parking lot, but inside was NOT busy at all. We were greeted and we were given a booth (that they hadn't cleaned off yet) mind you when we walked in there was two servers at a high tip to the left of the host stand with a silverware bin and also with someone who looked like a manager. We were at our booth for a little over 10 minutes and NO ONE came over to us to greet us or anything. In that 10 minutes there was a family across from us at a table and I over heard the father ask the manager, who brought his burger out after his family had basically almost finished their meal, where his other drink was that he ordered awhile ago. I looked at my husband and looked at the time and said this was ridiculous. I'm an ex-server/bartender and I get if you're busy but at least greet your table and let them know you'll be right with them, but also at the same time with the way this placed look if you call that busy that's an issue. We decided to go to Chilis down the street and less then a minute after being seated we were greeted by our server and they were WAY mor busy than BWW! This was the last time we will be there, either get new management who knows what they are doing or just close the place all together. read more

Ok. I ordered online at 6:25 PM to pick up my order at 8:10 pm. I arrived at 8:06 pm. Order# 1080008. I was told that they were still working on my order. No Problem, I moved over to the side and watched some of the Cubs game. While waiting, and outside food delivery service came and brought a nice medium size bag of Chipolte and dropped it off at the cashiers. A few minutes later a guy who looked like a cook and came form the around the corner area that leads to the kitchen, came and grabbed the bag of Chipolte, and returned back towards the kitchen. I waited some more time, and then looked at my watch. It was 8:25pm. A few minutes later around 8:27 a man dressed in black, no name tag, came and called out my name. I grabbed my food and asked who the manager was. He replied, I am, why ( maybe should have said: my name is______, I am the manager) ? I then started to explain to him, I ordered this food 2 hours ago online to be ready at 8:10. And based on the 17 minutes past that, I could have just came in and sat down and ordered my food and received it at the same pace. He said, we are short staffed. I said I ordered it 2 hours ago online. He then said we are tring our best. I was in shock. I asked him - is that all you have to say about this situation. He replied, It should not have taken this long but again we are short staffed. Ok. there are many issues with my experience - 1. Why was my order not ready when I asked for it. 2. Why is there other restaurant food being delivered here ( do the employees not like the food, is there a dirty kitchen, no time to make orders on time, but can sure order and eat Chipotle while working ). As well as I am pretty sure eating food from another business while working is frowned upon as well or should be. 3. 0 out of 100 skill points for the Customer Service / Interaction with the Manger representing the company. Untrained professional. Not sure your Corporate Training Policies & procedures, but I am sure this is not taught the way he acted. Wish I could tell you his name, but no name tag or introduction. This is a little hit and miss. Went here because they were a confirmed sponsor of a pay per view event. We informed the host and manager that our party was there for the event, and were sat at a table near a tv with the event. Midway through the event they changed the channel to another event - and it didn't even seem like anyone was watching the other event (car racing) instead. The manager was a little odd the second time time we requested it to be put back on. The food was what you would expect from B-dubs. Their cocktail menu needs a revamp. Arrived Sunday around 8pm. The kid at the front counter seemed confused and irritated as to why we were there even after stating we wanted a table for two. He stated he would have to clean a table even as there were only two other tables already occupied. So, we waited approximately five minutes to finally be seated. They were "out" of each of our first two drink choices, although he professed that he had his bartender look all over for the items. Not the end of the world. My now fiancé, ordered a house salad with ranch and a side of wings and celery and carrots with ranch. The girl likes ranch what can I say. Upon receiving the food, she received a Caesar salad and 6 cold to room temperature wings, that were not edible for a raccoon. All the while we could hear the kitchen staff from our table, presumably not taking their performance at all seriously. We had to beg our server for utensils and napkins. Maybe he is accustomed to his customers eating their salad with their hands, I'm not sure. Never received the celery/carrots and ranch to which we were charged for. All while waiting what seemed like an eternity, for any of our ordered items, I can over hear other tables stating that their orders were inaccurate. A lady who placed a pick up order was visibly upset that her order was inaccurate and waited approximately twenty minutes for them to rectify it. I understand it's Buffalo Wild Wings, but the lack of pride in anything at this establishment is embarrassing.
