We sat outside on their patio by the fans and temps were a relief after the dire temps in previous days. Food: wish I'd taken a picture before we ate some. It was presented nicely. We had the Asian chicken wraps. It came with four almost, kinda sorta, wilted romaine leaves that were hard to wrap around anything, so that was interesting. I woulda preferred a larger colder iceberg lettuce. Room temperature white rice in the middle of small cube chicken, also room temp? with a teriyaki like sauce on it. On the side and in small containers, it had pickled onions and cucumbers, which were wonderful. Some sort of sweet /hot sauce I'm guessing and radishes with crispy wonton strips. I liked it all ok taste wise, but thought the rice and chicken could have been warm to hot. We also had each a flavored lime mule which was very good for $10 each. Not a lot of alcohol but tasty. Had cold things been cold and hot things been at least warm, it would have been much better. My friend wasn't too hungry or impressed so I took most of it home and warned it up and that is what you see in the picture. It was way more appealing and I just ditched the sorta wilty romaine. The menu doesn't know what it wants to be. It's mostly bar food, some Asian influences and some Greek, thrown in with 3-4salads. I almost like it better when they first opened with a very limited and kinda pricy small bites menu, but I suppose in McHenry you gotta have basic bar food, so I get it. I just wish there were an upscale pub type menu for something different. But that's just me.

The bar is a complete and utter disaster run by people who clearly hate their customers. The "service" if you can even call it that is a complete joke. The bartender, Marella, is quite literally the most unpleasant person I've ever encountered in the service industry. She is rude, dismissive, and puts on this fake, plastic persona that's transparent to everyone with a brain. She treats patrons like an inconvenience for simply existing and ordering a drink. It's honestly impressive how someone so miserable can keep a job in a public facing role. The management also contributes to the unwelcoming atmosphere. There is a palpable sense of elitism that makes regular patrons feel unwelcome. It often feels as though the establishment is run for a specific inner circle rather than the general public, leaving everyone else feeling like an outsider in what should be a community space. The quality of the offerings does not justify the high prices. Drinks often lack the proper proportions, and the overall value is poor compared to other establishments in McHenry. The contrast between the bar and the professional service found on the diner side is stark while the diner staff works hard to provide a positive experience, the bar side lacks that same commitment to customer satisfaction. The physical environment of the bar has also seen better days. Between the outdated decor and the general lack of upkeep, the space feels neglected. For anyone looking for a friendly environment with fair prices and professional service, looking elsewhere would be a better use of time and money. It is disappointing to see such a divide in quality within the same building.

The burgers come with a side, some have an up charge. Our server mentioned everything is made in-house. I feel it's a rarity of restaurants to made their food in-house so it made me excited for the food. Everything is reasonably price. I opted for the BFM burger and pickle chips ($2 up charge). The burger was juicy and well cooked. Their burgers are 1/2 lbs so it was big. The pickle chips were crunchy and really good. Portion was huge and worth the up charge. My lunch partner chose Cajun fries and they were crispy and flavorful. Our server was great! She was so nice! One negative, they allow dogs and many people brought their dogs. Since the space is enclosed, I did not like all the dogs while I was eating. It was tricky leaving since the hostess stand is located in the tight entrance and there was a dog right in the doorway. My lunch companion is deathly allergic to dogs. Luckily this dog owner was considerate and moved their dog so we could pass. Other than all the dogs, we enjoyed our meal and would come again.

There is parking nearby, if you arrive early enough to get a closer spot. The employees here were working hard to get everyone inside, despite the long line. Drink service in the balcony was fast. There is no separate entry for VIP. Just one long line and once you get inside are then brought to your ticket area. In all, I would say we waited outside for close to 30 minutes before we got inside for bag and ID check.

Thank you Vic for hosting our band last Saturday. Everyone had a blast! This is a great venue for live music in McHenry. The stage area allowed lots of space for our group, and plenty of seating for people to enjoy the music. There is also ample room for people to get up and dance. The game room was also jumping, with plenty of video gaming, dart boards, a pool table and more. The food was quickly coming out of the kitchen at a good speed and the bar staff was quick and on top of everything. We've been here twice in the last week for the first time visiting and another trip and loved it. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing. The owner greeted us both times and was very helpful with a small gluten allergy. The burger was great. Purchased the regular cheeseburger with an egg and bacon and was very good! The bartender helped with our food order and was very nice and approachable. Thank you and will see you again soon for more burgers and delicious tater tots! I love this place. The waitress is fun personable and saucy. I had the bkacken chicken linguini..so good and nice and spicy. The cook came out to talk to us.
