Good food, but kinda poor service tonight. No host when we walked in, waited a couple minutes until I went over to the bar and asked the bartender if there was a host. She said yes they have one and had to go find him. He was real young kid with very little cares to give...He put us on the list for a table, told us it would be 15-20 minutes, so we went back to the bar for a drink. After 5 minutes I got the text that our table was ready but didn't see it because I was socializing with my group and knew I wouldn't need to check my phone for at least 10/15 minutes. Happened to see the text 6 minutes after it was sent, so then went over to the host who informed us that because waited too long they gave our table away. Seriously, what?...He knew our party was at the bar literally just behind the host counter. So anyway, they got the table ready in another 5 minutes, but 3 of the 5 in our party had to wait at the bar for an additional 5 minutes to close out because the bar was understaffed, as was the whole restaurant--our waitress was doing her best but things did take a while. Not their fault. But having to track someone down just to ask for a table, then having it given away before it was supposed to be ready even when we were literally right behind the host...annoying. read more

The 5 stars is mostly for the wonderful customer service I received from Miguel and Ulises. I did a delivery order and wanted to make sure a few things were taken care of as I had a little trouble with the previous order a few months back. Both guys were so kind, and not only did they make sure my order was correct, they went over and beyond! I really like their lemon pepper dry rub on the wings, and I always get drumsticks only. The tater tots of course are delicious, but a little pricey at $5 plus for an order. I like this place and will be back! Give them a try! read more

Checked in at 7:00- was told 20-30 mins. One party ahead of us, 7:43 taken to our seat - 8:04 drinks and appetizer order taken - 8:23 chips and dips brought out... 8:25 orders taken. 8:47 server tells us there is an influx of DoorDash and UberEats orders so she's unsure if she'll be able to get our orders out - "but she'd try her best".... I have 1 kid sleeping, and 1 kid complaining of a headache (the music is hellaciously loud) .... Second time here in a matter of months and still the same crap-tastic service. Save your time. Your money and your hunger pangs - right next door is a Korean BBQ spot which can have long waits but, you can see why.... VS this 3/4 empty restaurant lacking servers and expedience where the focus is on take out. Sad this half ass spot closed down Hooters Oceanside. Went there for the first time tonight, and we had a large group (over 10 people). Understandable that it took a little while to be seated, but there were lots of tables open, stacked with dirty dishes and cups and napkins that hadn't been cleared for a while. Once we were seated, our drinks came quickly and our waitress was really nice. But when it came time for our food, half the table was served their meals, and then it took 10-15 minutes for the next few people to get their food. Myself and my daughter never received our food at all, so we had to ask for our meal to be brought out in to-go boxes because at that point, everyone was already done with their meal. The waitress apologized, and I took my daughters home early because it was already so late. I found out when my husband returned home that not only did they not offer to remove our two meals from the bill, they didn't even offer a discount, and a manager never came over to apologize. It sounds like it was an issue in the kitchen, so I feel really bad for the waitress. But it would've gone along way for the manager or staff to offer to remove our meals from the bill. It's so slow in the restaurant and yet it took forever for someone to address us in the lobby. I had to walk up to the employee who was on his phone at the front desk. Didn't bother looking up until I spoke up that we needed a table for two and just threw down menus at the nearest table. Came by after work around 10pm. Was seated quickly and stiff was nice. There weren't many people and def an "end of shift" vibe. I had the cauliflower "wings" with added veggie sticks and small order of fries. Food came out quick and was GOOD! These pseudo wings were the best I've ever had, and I used to eat meat and enjoy real boneless wings. Hailey was my bartender and she did it all. At one point a song from SpongeBob Square pants started playing. Another song appeared to be Christmas music. It would have been much better with one of the basketball games on. We ordered the house sampler. The food took approximately 25 minutes to receive. We got there around 6pm and they were not busy. Not sure why it took so long. I love BWW but for this location, meh, I've dined at better locations. Quick and easy to sit with lots of tables and TV screens around. Our server was very nice and helpful but unfortunately the food was a bit too salty. I ordered the salt and vinegar wings and trust me, I love salt but I had to wipe and dust off the salt. This location bathed my wing in extra coatings of the seasoning. Booo! Lastly, the pickles were good but just a tad bit salty. My taste buds is always for salty food as I put salt on my food all the time however in this case overly seasoned in my opinion. But, I will always return and hopefully my next experience will be better. read more

Honestly, I used to love this place, but after coming back for the third time.... the service is just absolutely trash. One of the first times I came I wanted to order onion rings and the server named Britney quickly answered me with just a plain "no" and proceeded to laugh at my face and said "it feels so good to say that" I had honestly lost my appetite at that point, but I tried to just keep a positive mindset, she never came back to check on us and just until before i left did she ask if i wanted a refill. The other time i ordered food, it took well over 30 minutes to get my food even when the restaurant was fairly empty. This last time my sister and I showed up, got sat, once the server came up he didn't introduce himself or ask us how we were he just said "did they explain the menu barcode to you" I proceeded to say "no" and told me to scan the QR code and order on my phone and pay on there as well. It's just disappointing that not only did I have to order through my phone, it took about ten minutes to receive my soda.
