I've now frequented this place about 1-2 times per month (since my last review in 2013) to watch sporting events in the bar area, the only area I will eat at. I prefer actually sitting directly at the bar too. Anyhow, I've found d if I ask for freshly cooked wings with "easy" sauce they do not come saturated. Wings are big and taste great. I don't recommend the mushrooms, mostly breading My biggest issue with this place is cleanliness. My husband has complained on multiple occasions about the men's bathroom. There is litterally urine puddles on on the floor and the people are walking through it and out into the restuarant, even into their cars and homes. GROSS. Especially when the main restuarant is carpet. They really need to do something about this. Also, bartenders keep their personal items on the bar itself, I've even seen a pair of shoes on there. Womp womp..... Sorry Buffalo Wild Wings, I'm going with a 2 star for you. Been visiting this place about once a month with some work colleagues, but I'm not a huge fan. I think I just had higher expectations for some reason but let's be honest, this is basically a sports bar. The wings are good, especially if you get in during happy hour. Service isn't that great though, my waitress forgot my drink and it took about 20 minutes for me to remind her. Pretty sure she also got me the wrong size as well. Will be hesitant about coming back here, unless there's a good basketball game o, then I can forgive this two star rating. read more

The service was okay nothing amazing. The food was so bland..we got there around 930 pm on a Thursday. I thought they would have some type of boneless wing deal as they did in the past on Thursdays but i was so wrong. I paid 19.99 for a medium size wings?!?!? That is so ridiculous I didn't even eat half because it was so bland. The next table in front of us got free hook ups because they knew one of the girls that worked there...which I thought was stupid. Buffalo wild wings should check it's employees because they seem to be giving their friends free food. i paid 54.99 for 2 wings and 2 fries. Never coming back. Love the bar area at this location and I would say it all has to do with the great services! Sam the bartender is by far my and my spouse's favorite, she is always smiling and is amazing behind the bar. I feel guilty putting in a drink order in when I can clearly see she is doing literally 15 mixed drinks at one time. She always greets us with a smile and makes us feel taken care of, even though she is usually doing 20 things at one time. Every drink she has ever made or recommend has been amazing! Went late on a Tuesday for happy hour! Place was packed. Sat in the bar and our server was named Bree! Shes straight to the point, fun, friendly, and helpful. I come here all the time and the service is good at the bar but lately I haven't been able to sit down so I get it to go! Every single time I get it to go their is always something wrong or missing! My Husband and I went here with a large group of friends (at least 11-12). We started in the bar, not knowing that one of our friends brought his two boys that are minors. The waitress had no problem switching us to a different section to accommodate this mix though. What I found kind of confusing was the menu and the specials. There were so many different flyers on the table that it was hard to track what special went with what day and what time. I went here with my friend late night and ordered one of the build a burgers off that section of the menu and had a crispy chicken sandwich with all the fixins..was real good and real big. I didn't know how to eat it! We also had the for s which were a bit skinny and cool when we got them..the onion rings and mozzarella sticks were much better! Hot and good! I loved the lemonade limies or whatever they called, they like fizzy lemonades which I defend over the regular lemonades. Those were not worth around $5 bucks ..all the flavors of the limies were so tasty! All for a little less then $20 each..I probably won't come back anytime soon just because I don't like sports and they have more TVs playing that then i have ever seen. We finally got a seat only to wait & wait & wait to order. So the reason why I am rating this "WONDERFUL" place one star, even though I come here at a minimum once a week, is because I asked for a blended strawberry lemonade while I was sitting in the bar. And I was told no. It was as simple as taking a strawberry lemonade that was on ice, like my girl friend had, and throwing it in the blender. For a customer to be told no for something that minute, at multi regional-multi million dollar corporation, is complete asinine. I am contemplating making more reviews. I have actually been to this Buffalo Wild Wings twice, so every time I have been to Salem. Yes, I know there are other places in Salem but I am always in the area to visit a friend and there is usually a game on we all want to watch so Buffalo Wild Wings it is. The place is okay. On this particular occasion there were a ton of people waiting to be seated and at least five tables that were dirty waiting to be bussed. We decided to go the bar and the same thing was happening there. It might not be so chaotic and messy if the place had more staff cleaning up quickly. The place is never squeaky clean but what do you expect from a sports bar on a Sunday? The wings are good and I have never had anything bad to say about them. They have a ton of sauces and beers on tap as well as a full bar. read more

Love this place, my sweetie pie and I come for lunch dates on mondays usually and sit in the bar area. Love all the beer selections and the friendly service. Food special menu is simple but everything I have ordered has been delicious. There are also more options on the regular menu but we are pretty easy to please and usually stick to the specials :) anyway, to sum it up.... it's a great experience here! Dropped in here with a friend after a day of shopping in Portland and on a whim decided to call and see if he wanted to meet up at BWW. There was a ton of cars in the parking lot, and a bunch of people just hanging out by the front door, so we thought we might be in for a wait. There was no wait however, as apparently a game had just finished and the majority of the people were leaving. The peppy hostess sat us at a high table in the bar area, where the music volume was pretty loud if I do say so myself. This made conversation a little annoying, but we dealt. Our waiter can right over, pulled up a chair, and said "What's up?" As I had never been to a BWWs before I can't say if this is standard procedure or not, but it was a little strange. He sat there for a minute making small talk, going over a few questions on the beer selection I had, and then took our order. I had eaten earlier, but my friend was hungry and ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a side of mild BBQ wings (I cannot recall exactly what flavor he choose). After my discussion concerning the beer, I selected a brew that had lemonade flavors. This was a poor choice, as it was not very good at all. My friend offered a wing, so I graciously accepted. Wings are not normally my first pick when it comes to food lineups, they are messy and I have a thing about sticky fingers. . . But, I sucked it up and ate it, mess and all. It was pretty good, not a lot of fat and the sauce was delicious. I can see this being an alright place to chill for a game with a bunch of friends. I have to say that this franchise seems to have righted the ship! My son and I got food poisoning here a couple years ago and that was enough to keep us from coming back until very recently. And I have to say that the food quality, service and beer selection was outstanding. On the positive side, there are lots of huge TVs and they seem to know what the nationally and locally important games are, so unlike most "sports bars" around Salem you don't have to bother a (typically) disinterested person to switch channels for you. But, that's where it ends for me. Buffalo Wild Wings features very WEAK overpriced drinks, overpriced and grossly overrated food, and at least at this location, filthy bathrooms & rude patrons. I was recently there for a game along with an alumni group and the bartender squeezed a loud agitator from a rival team (clearly a friend or relative) up front along with the rest of us, and then proceeded to humor him, thereby emboldening his boorish behavior. BWW is a corporate marketing driven business that offers limited value to the consumer. If I had to go to one again, I would choose the Tualatin location if for no reason other than the patrons and staff are of much higher quality. I will never visit the Salem location again. read more

Worst BWW ever!!! The hostess was more worried about clearing tables then helping people! We went in with a party of 7 on 12/26 - despite multiple open tables, we were denied seating due to the 2 tables next to each other being designated as handicapped tables - no notices, no signs , and 4 other similar tables open. When we offered to split up, we were told "NO! Those two tables are in different sections" despite being right by each other. Then the hostess attempted to seat a party of 2 at one of the tables to block us sitting there. She went out of her way to ignore customers coming in - leaving as they walked through the door to clear tables. While our waiter was pleasant, our lunch took over 35 minutes to arrive- no explanation, no checkin- nothing!!! Worst BWW experience ever!!! I'm here on vacation from Southern California and we were seated at 8:15 and we hadn't seen our waiter since we were seated. At 8:30pm I had my daughter go ask where our waiter was. A girl went to go get him and the hostess. He told her he wasn't coming to our table. The hostess came and took our order. She even brought it to us. We never got a refill on water. Before we got our food he came to our table with food we didn't order and when we told him it wasn't ours he said my bad... what server talks like that! We were waiting and waiting for our check I finally had to go up and ask for our check. The girl said Khristian would give us our check because he was our server. I let her know he wasn't. How he was the worse server. The next thing I know the manager was there. If that wasn't enough we were sitting across from these high schoolers that were making fun of my moms hair. Like it's a crime to have short hair!!! My girl had just left the table and went back because she forgot her earbuds. Her earbuds were gone. Hmmmm... worse evening and experience!!!!! Again, Came here with my Dad this time to use my Birthday Coupon. I didn't get a free dessert like last time but that is ok, I forgot about it to be honest. Anyway, my dad is in his early 70's has a hard time walking or standing due to injuries. We walk into the restaurant and I go hit the restrooms. My dad stands there waiting to be seated. He said that there was a man standing there at the check in counter but completely ignored my dad and walked off. I came out of the bathroom and my dad couldn't stand anymore so he went and sat himself at a random table. I stood at the check in and the guy who ignored my dad came back, he had a clipboard in hand and was talking to some other customers it appeared. They just stood there looking at all the TV's and talking for several minutes. I look across the room and see several waitresses talking and standing around. Finally, after standing there for about 5 minutes a hostess walks up and seats us. The hostess just drops our menus and our silverware on the table in a pile and walks away. Now, the only thing that saves this visit is the server and our food. I get my free boneless wings and my dad orders the Pulled Pork sandwich, he asks for wedges but he ends up with shoestring fries instead. We notify the waitress and she offers to replace them but we decline. The food was very good over all though. That having been said, the wings were not especially meaty and not all that cheap. We also ordered fires and a salad, which were both deeply mediocre. Between the concrete floors and the countless big-screen TV's, the dining room is extremely noisy. Went on a Thursday around 4pm, .75 cent boneless wings got a fuck ton in like a ton of different flavors, was a great experience. Staff was quick and friendly, refilled our waters so often which was needs considering all the spicy flavors I was trying. Ranch side was a great combination with every flavor I tried. BWW is one of the best places I think I've EVER had a meal. I usually come in early afternoon for lunch, which is served so quickly because they know you're probably in a hurry, and I love the service, but tonight they hit it out of the park - if you don't mind my sport related pun. Our server tonight, Gary, was AMAZING. He always made sure that our drinks were full, that we were well taken care of. The timing between our appetizers and our meal was PERFECT. This place sucked. It was my first time here with my entire family. We were seated near a group of loud teenagers who spoke the most vulgar things in which a few servers conversed with them. They played inappropriate, explicit music. The service took forever. I didn't get what I asked for. Half of our food was cold. The server totally ignored the fact that we needed refills, silverware, etc. I was just extremely upset with the whole thing. Our server tried so hard - but the kitchen sucked. The place was gross. Finger smudges all over the door as you walk in. The whole place smelled like old fry oil. The wings I ordered had barely any sauce on them. Wild sauce wings tasted like bland chicken nuggets. The ranch was defiantly downgraded - heavy chemical taste. I couldn't even finish my side salad. When we ordered (before I tasted the new ranch) I asked for extra ranch and received none. The server warned us that the kitchen was stingy. But in retrospect, considering how gross the food was, maybe the kitchen is being kind by not giving out food. Everything was cheap. I ordered a wrap with salad instead of fries. They brought it out on a giant tray with just my wrap and crumbs from the fries they platted - then remembered I didn't order - then grabbed back without bothering to change plates. You could tell the owner is pinching every penny. Even cutting down on the paper towels in the bathroom. The dispenser administered a two inch section of towel and then locked for 60 seconds. When we got home my stomach was gurgling and my husband literally had to run to the bathroom to be sick. Maybe if the owner gave his workers paper towels - they would wash their hands. So gross.
