Table was dirty, chips and guacamole tasted so bad we couldn't even eat them. Had a chemical taste. No flavor in the guacamole. Waited for the wilds until finally had enough and asked for the check. Not even an apology for the service or ask about the food. $20 later we left and it was perfectly fine without even what can we do the make it up to you. First things first - I'm not really a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings' food. Let's face it: It's pretty average bar/chain fare. As a restaurant, they are just average. But, as a place to watch football games, they are top notch. In the Salem area, there are very few places where you can spend an entire Sunday watching every NFL game on. With Direct TV's Sunday Ticket playing on huge screens throughout their restaurant, it's almost dizzying trying to stay on top of the action as it unfolds at stadiums throughout the country. They do a nice job making sure that every game is on and they even have placards on the screens to let you know which game is coming. And when you have to go to the restroom, don't worry - they have TVs in there as well. As far as the food goes: Okay, so they have your typical bar offerings. On our last visit, my brother and I got a large order of wings, 20 deep fried wings soaking in a variety of sauces (one sauce per 5 wings). We ordered 10 medium, 5 Thai curry and 5 spicy garlic. I've had most of their other sauces and these tend to be pretty good. On this past visit, however, the Thai curry was VERY salty. Hard to finish. The medium wings were slathered in a tangy Buffalo sauce that left me in desperate need of Tums. The spicy garlic tasted almost exactly like the medium ones, just not as messy. Served up with carrots, celery and dressing, the wings are a solid choice. We also got an order of chips and salsa (which were on the stale side) and an order of soft pretzels (three knots of bread topped with salt and served with this orange queso dip that was pretty hard on the palate). They do have a pretty good beer selection. Best of all, the service here is very good. They understand that people come here to watch the games and don't get too pushy about people staying long after their food has come and gone. On our last visit, my brother and I stayed for the morning and afternoon games - over 6 hours total, and our waiter was more than accommodating, refilling our drinks and checking in on us regularly. Would I ever go there just for their food? Never. But if I'm looking for a place to catch all the NFL action while noshing on typical bar fare, they aren't many options out there (in Salem.) I have been to this location at least 30 times to pick up orders and it gas gone downhill big time over the last 6 months . this place often times has missing items from the orders, so always check as they frequently miss drinks and sauces or sides. Extremely SLOW and not to mention RUDE when you ask for updated timeframe for food, which at minimum , will be at least 10 minutes past the estimated pickup time. Now that sports are not being played, there should be no reason to go here as their food is all subpar. I wont come back to this place until management changes and they get some quality people working in the front. When I first arrive at the time I was told the pick up would be ready (the website confirmed that it was waiting for me), I let the girl at the counter know I have a pickup and I give her my name. She stared at me blankly until I repeated myself, then she asked if I had a pickup and if it was uber or grub hub. I told her no I ordered it online, and then she asked me again if it was an online order...uh yeah, that's what I said. I showed her my phone which had the order up and she went to the back. She came back after about 5 min. and said they were bagging it up right now. So I backed up and stood waiting for about 5 more minutes then proceeded to sit down. After another 10 minutes pass I go back to the counter, I tell her it has been 15 minutes and it shouldn't take that long to bag an order for 2 people. She proceeded to argue with me saying they were making sure that erything was in the bag. I insisted that it still shouldn't take 15 minutes. She stormed off and I never saw her again. But after another 10 minutes someone brought out my order and forgot the frys. So much for making sure everything was there. He got me the frys after a few more minutes. I mention that 25-30 minutes after my pick up was ready is pretty ridiculous. He snapped back that this isn't his fault they got a bunch of orders in at once and there is nothing he could do. I grab my bag and leave. After getting home my wife uses her sauce that was labeled the one she wanted but it was wrong. He probably should have made sure everything was correct... I came here after my sons first birthday next door. I was in a large group and ordered with the group. The waitress with her face painted black and white tried to skip me when ordering. I was going to forget about it. My fiancé noticed and made sure I ordered. My order came 30 mins after every one else. I ordered a plate of tacos and one drink. When she brung out the drink from the back her and a few workers watched me take a drink. The drink made me sick. The customer service here is absolutely horrible. I had an order to go. When I got there they said mine was just being bagged. After that there were 7 orders that went out. When I asked them again they got snotty with me. I waited 40 minutes for my order "being bagged up". Big love-hate relationship with this place. Been eating here on occasion for about 5 years. The food and environment are both great, which is what keeps me coming back. Most of my complaints come down to the pricing. You are almost always overpaying for what you get. If you want a decent amount of wings, fries, and a soda, you need to be ready to spend $25+ which is absurd for what you get. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY. This place is infamously slow, even when they aren't that busy. Waiting 45 minutes for your food is not uncommon. Service is a huge hit or miss. Some servers are amazing and friendly, while others are downright awful. It's hard to tip bad service especially when you are already overpaying for food. The only time I feel as though I am getting a good deal is with their lunch deal (M-F 11-2) which I would highly recommend at a much more reasonable $10-$12. read more

I love BWW but this Salem location is disgusting and the Service is bad I've only gone to this location 3 time in the 6 years I've lived in Salem and each time I go I remember why i don't go this one. The woman's bathroom is filthy no toilet covers, one paper towel Machine empty and toilet paper all over the stall floors. It was also not as busy as most bww can get and we had to wait 15 minutes to get seated while we saw multiple people come in and get seated almost right away. While waiting to get seated the floor of the entrance was really sticky and a trail of soda lead to the waiting area and on to the bench, I let the worker of the to go area know their was a spill and she said "oh I'll get to it" and when we where heading out after eating the spill was still their! Not exactly my idea of the Bdubs I'm used too. I had to give this location a couple of goes in order to get a fair amount of service and food to judge. Now, with that being said... I have been to quite a few BWWs to say, this one doesn't make the cut. The service both times were slow and not as friendly as in other locations. This location seems dark and outdated as well as understaffed. It's pretty bad when a $4 tip seems like it's too much! They don't even bring the wings out separated enough to tell which is which. The wings are lightly sauced and that's being kind. The water served tasted like tap water from the back hose and the fries were shoe string at best with no flavor. Maybe I'm not giving this location a fair shake... But after 3 visits, I I think it's fair for 2 stars. I'm not one of those pathetic reviewers who get their panties in bunch and 1 star a location because they waiting 10 minutes longer than they liked. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE LAST NIGHT! Our waitress Anna was the worst waitress. She took forever to come take our order. And when she came to take our order you could tell she didn't want to be there. Kept making snarky comments as we ordered. We had to ask someone who wasn't our waitress for silverware and napkins. We sat there for 10 minutes with empty cups. I literally had to get up and walk over to where they get the with our cups and ask for a refill. When I paid the total was $30.17. I had a $25 gift card so I gave her that and $5.25. I was confused when she brought back the gift card because it was supposed to be empty. So I asked "this is empty right?" The food runner deserves to be fired. And the food was horrible. I didn't even get to eat. I was just over it after everything they brought to us was wrong or tasted horrible. After not getting to eat we paid 30 dollars for a burger for my hubby and chip and queso. I'm over it. I'll never go back. In what has become a regular episode of gluttonous, gut-agitating noshing, I wanted to one-up the ol' Blazin' challenge (IIRC, it's 12 traditional Blazin' wings in six minutes, no liquids or napkins allowed). Memorial Day brought a cool special: 25 wings (boneless or traditional) for just $14.99. My friend from SoCal was in town and heard of my (stupid and crazy) talent to tolerate spicy food. Pandas don't mind showing off a tad to friends. We came in on Sunday (5/27). 25 Blazin' boneless wings it was, just so I didn't have to fiddle with the bone and get spice burns on my hands (already did enough of that this past week dangit). I then reached into my bag (literally) and pulled out another plastic bag of three hot sauces: habanero sauce, Trinidad Moruga Scorpion hot sauce, and an extract topping 2 million Scoville units. A healthy amount went on all 25 boneless wings (a.k.a. chicken nuggets). Yeah, these were Super Blazin' nuggets. Chernobyl Panda Nuggets. The nuggets had a great crunch on the outside, still fairly moist on the inside. I finally reached for the water probably around 13-15 nuggets. All 25 nuggets (plus carrots and celery) done in probably...17 minutes. Good amount of perspiration in this one, so I'll count this as an extra gym session. The multiple TVs had baseball games going, so I had a good distraction from the building heat. The place wasn't even a week old (I arrived on their sixth day of business). Staff was great. My server, Jeremiah, marveled at what I had just done. I'm sure he thought I was just a tad nuts.... Yeah, I videotaped most of this, to be uploaded in the future. It's YouTube gold! (Maybe not.) Ok, so I have chosen to write about the Salem Buffalo Wild Wings first since it my most recent experience with this HORRIBLE establishment. I have to tell you I heard so many people raving about this place, that of course I wanted to try it, but I just don't know what all the rave reviews are about? We went to this particular site for a birthday lunch with a group of friends. We did this on our lunch hour during the work week, and unless you have a two hour lunch, and I DON'T then you may want to choose another location. So when we arrived the entire group was not there; however, they sat us and within a few minutes the waitress came over and took drink orders for those of us that were there, sounds good right? Yeah, well it ended there. When the rest of the people got there the waitress did not come to get a drink order or food order until one of the people in the group went looking for a manager. Look I get it, if your restaurant is busy it may take a little longer to get your needs met, but it was NOT busy. When she finally came over to take the order she seemed a bit irritated, and the person who had spoken to the manager just let her know that we only have an hour so that is why we needed to get our order in, again the waitress seemed irritated but she still took the order and did her job. So we get the food and honestly it is nothing special and to me the prices were a bit high for what you get. I guess having a bunch of sauces to choose from is cool, along with all the T.V.'s to watch your favorite sport, but I left this Buffalo Wild Wings knowing this was the second bad experience, and I feel no need to ever give it another shot. If you like this place more power to you; however, this is no place I will ever choose to eat at again. read more

Their food is great... If you ever get it. My wife and I walked in yesterday to grab a bite on their wing Tuesday special. We went into the bar because the restaurant was pretty busy. After about 10 minutes we were asked by a very nice waitress if we had been welcomed yet. We said no so she apologized and brought us water. She said she would let our server know that we were there. Then we waited. And waited. After 40 minutes of sitting there with our menus open on the table, we decided its not worth it. We walked out hungry and they lost our money. Food was average and my order arrived incorrect (the kitchen forgot the chicken on a salad). The drink prices are not listed on the menu and obtaining this information will make you feel as though you are participating in a CIA operation. I was surprised to learn that BWW has a very generous policy of giving entrees away for small mistakes. Ok listen. Im a fan... i like the restaurant... good food, I like the Wings... my girl loves the flatbread pizzas. Its an ADD persons happy place... lots of screens everywhere. Service is marginal but mostly friendly. Beer prices are crazy high. 7 bucks for a pilsner glass. Its nice they have some craft brew options. I think Happy Hour will be the new time to come for us.. but dont count on getting out for under $30 bucks. read more
