Legit Korean spot. Great service, great food. If you're looking for a quick place to stop by for lunch or dinner on the way home from Monterey, this is a must try. Typical, simple restaurant seating with 10 tables or so, no frills type of restaurant. Here are some items I usually order: Garlic soy friend chicken (toddler friendly) Yang Nyum chicken Jap Chae (toddler fave) Tofu soup Minus one star for the portion size of the jap chae and there is never any AC at this place. No matter how hot it is, expect to sweat. Back to the jap chae...it's served on a traditional Korean stainless steel plate and the amount you get is literally a quarter of the plate. I actually would prefer not order this dish but my son loves it. P.S. I loveeee the pickled daikon that the fried chicken comes with. At one point it would automatically come out with your order of chicken but the the owner told me she stopped serving it with the chicken because people would not eat it. Found this place serving Korean food and was pleasantly surprised with their food! Started with Kloud beer which was flavorful and refreshing. Then was given 3 sides and side noodles. Each kimchi side was unique, spicy, and fermented very well. Lastly the bibimbap in the clay pot made the rice crunchy and the entire meal hot. These are not peppery although that is available if desired. I spent a year in South Korea and they like it really peppery. Accompanying the mains was sesame spiced glass noodle salad, tempura veggies and rice. There is also pickled daikon radish which we loved.
