My recent visit to Buffalo Wild Wings during happy hour was unfortunately a bit of a mixed experience. When I arrived, the restaurant was not very busy, yet it took about 15 minutes before anyone came to take my drink order. I noticed several staff members gathered in groups while only a few appeared to be actively tending to tables. Kevin was my server, and he was genuinely polite and apologetic throughout the visit. However, it seemed like he may have been assigned too many tables spread across the dining area, which likely contributed to the delays in service as the happy hour crowd gradually started filtering in. I ordered a dip appetizer that arrived topped with bacon pieces, something I wasn't aware came with the dish. I politely asked if it could be remade, and Kevin handled the situation kindly and professionally without hesitation. Shortly afterward, my wings arrived. Presentation-wise, they looked great and were nicely coated in sauce, but unfortunately the wings themselves were barely warm when I bit into them. Since I had already sent one item back, I honestly felt awkward asking for the wings to be remade as well. After finishing my meal, I waited quite a while for a refill, a check-in, or even the opportunity to ask for my tab. Since I was dining alone, I didn't want to simply leave the table unattended, but eventually I had to walk to the front to cash out. Michelle, who I believe may have been the manager, stepped in and was very helpful during checkout. I had overheard another guest being told the restaurant was not participating in the Nurses Week discount, but Michelle kindly clarified that they actually were honoring it. As a nurse, I appreciated that gesture and was relieved not to pay full price for what felt like a fairly mediocre dining experience overall. I do think there is room for improvement when it comes to customer service and floor management at this location. Kevin himself was pleasant, but whether due to being new or simply spread too thin, the service experience suffered from long wait times and lack of attentiveness. That can become frustrating for customers who are waiting on food, refills, or simply trying to check out. While this visit was a miss for me personally, I won't hold one experience against the entire chain. This Mission Valley location likely sees a high volume of customers, so service may vary depending on timing and staffing. If you're craving wings and don't mind a little unpredictability with the experience, this location may still work for you.

It said buffalo chips and it was plain.

Terrible service, waited a full hour for our food, then they gave us the wrong items and tried to lie. We had to pull up the menu to prove we didn't get what we asked for. Then they gave us rotten celery that was literally brown and mushy. DO NOT COME HERE. As I'm writing this, overheard the table next to us complaining about a hair in her ranch....

I stopped by to take advantage of the birthday reward they offer, which includes six free wings through their app. I ordered the: *Honey Garlic Boneless Wings: they were served warm and had a nice flavor yes. Dipping it in the ranch really added to the flavor. I placed my order through the mobile app, and it was ready in about 20 minutes. When I arrived, the staff quickly brought my order out and included ranch in the bag. They did forget the utensils, but I was in and out in less than a minute, so the pickup process was very easy. Overall, Buffalo Wild Wings is what it is, a casual sports bar chain and a fun place to catch a game, grab some wings, and hang out with friends. The staff are friendly, and the service is efficient. That said, I do think the food is a WAY overpriced for what it is. If I hadn't received the birthday reward there's NO WAY I would spend $14 on six wings. Still, when they have happy hour specials, promotions, or game-day deals, it can be a good value. This isn't a gourmet restaurant or a local mom-and-pop wing spot, but if you're looking for a laid-back place to watch sports and enjoy some wings, it gets the job done.

Below average experience at Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm not much of a chain eater, and I haven't been here in many years and I realized why. Food was sub par, and extremely overpriced. The service was fast, drinks were fast and our waitress was good. It was busy on and off, Games on so many screens which makes the place

I would give ZERO "stars" if I could. sat down for 10-15 minutes before being approached. My boyfriend had to flag down the waiter GABE after we noticed he kept going around our table multiple times. We requested water.... Gabe didnt bring our water. again, we had to flag him down. got waters like 30 mins in smh. our appetizer came in but we never got asked if we wanted to order our main meal. At this point we wanted to leave. The table next to us had expressed to us the same experience they were having with their waiter Kevin.. we asked for the bill & i let Gabe know that this service was so unacceptable & explained to him why we were leaving in efforts for other people to not experience what we experienced instead of him thinking we were just simply leaving. All he had to say to that was "i'm sorry you had that experience " ... I said the same back to him as our time was wasted. We spoke to the manager & he kindly apologized & paid for our food. will not be going to the mission valley location anymore !!! ANYWAYS, we went to BJs after & got service within 2 mins of sitting down. heres our delicious food with amazing service.

First timer here! I was surprised to see that there were more than just wings on the menu, and I'm more of a chicken strip girlie than anything, so that's what I ended up ordering. They were fine. We also ordered an appetizer platter thing that had mozzarella sticks, onion rings, pretzel bun things, and fried pickles. Everything was fine. It's what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Like nothing was soooooo amazing, but it definitely wasn't horrible. Everything was just "fine" food wise. There are other things to brag about though, like the cleanliness of the restaurant was good, the attentiveness of our server, the fact that there's such a big parking lot. I also like that they had a variety of sauces to choose from. It's the kind of place where I'll go if someone invites me, but I probably wouldn't offer it as a suggestion on my own.

Hmmm reviews are not terrific here but wanted bar food before a movie and I thought this place was good enough. I ordered the Sampler Appetizer and the Mozzarella Sticks, Buffalo Wings, Pretzel Bites with their sauces delivered. Onion Rings could improve. My friend thought the Lemon Pepper was dry, the fries meh but he did enjoy the Patty Melt Smashed Burger. We did like the ambience and the service was good. I would come again if I'm in the mood for bar type food and would order their Buffalo Wings.

Much hast changed with the speed of service at this place ordered my food before opening. Wasn't ready on time I had another extra ten min wait after being 5 mins late. Got the boneless wings they are salty and hard and a chicken Philly beer cheese sandwhich also not great really had no flavor but cheese no onion taste or bell peppers and the bread felt like a hotdog bun. I went here because I had a reward deal of spen 15 dollars and get a free sandwich, the fries were ok so there's that and the carrots and celery were cool. It just open and had 2 guest and me just so you can see how busy they were. I guess eat in and you food will come out at a reasonable time.

Got a table for two and was seated quickly however no one came to wait our table we waited over 20 minutes and no one came to ask us what we wanted to drink or order, no apologies or any communication at all with us. There were a few customers who came in after us and got waited within minutes. There would be more grace if it was busy however it was not busy and there were multiple workers walking by without any sense of urgency. We left after 30 minutes of waiting. We love buffalo wild wings but we will not be returning back again.

You can never go wrong with good chicken wings, beer and friends when watching your favorite game. This bww is probably my favorite since it's a central location with lots of parking. It's always packed since they have so many tv screens. My favorite flavors: Lemon pepper Parmesan garlic Daytona

    Jason W.

This is an impressively large BWW and the food is on par with other locations. Even though they seem adequately staffed, the service is slow and unorganized. The staff doesn't work together and no one is coordinating things. If you can look past the lackluster service, you might want to give this place a try anyway.

It's been pretty hot in sd and this place has a lot of large open windows that were all open, I usually love that feature but it was an abnormally humid night so we were all pretty hot and sweaty inside. Food was good with affordable prices too, we came here quite late at night, so we were limited to only their late-night menu, but everything was quite tasty, typical bar food. Our standout favorite was the maple sriracha wings for $10.61, their flavor is exactly like described and was a good balance of sweet and spicy! The Butter Burger $10.57 was good too but I think too rich and heavy for me. The prices were great tho! Parking is pretty terrible as is typical for downtown, but we walked from Punch Bowl Social and had Ubered to there at the beginning of the night. ---- Overall: a cool place to hangout, drink, and grab a bite late at night, I'm sad about not being able to play a whole game of foosball, but a generally great time
