I highly recommend ordering on the Jack in the Box app for really good deals! Food is usually ready within ten minutes of the time you submit your order online unless it's very busy. The lines do get long at the drive through especially for lunch and dinner. My to go orders are fresh and the staff hook it up with the condiments. You have to ask them. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, decent size with plenty of parking. This location is near by other businesses. Bathroom for customers. read more

Today, I went through the drive-thru at the Jack in the Box in Mission Valley. I ordered a breakfast combo with a sweet tea, instead of coffee. When I ordered my food and drink, I was not told the tea would be $1.00 extra. The employee should have told me about the extra charge when I ordered my food. Sweet tea should not cost more than coffee. The employee at the window did not tell me about the extra charge either. He just gave me my total. It was too much, so I asked him why and he said, it is because I ordered sweet tea instead of coffee. I had to ask for my receipt too. I wonder how many people they overcharge and not tell them. Also, it took them a while before they gave my food to me and I had to ask for my tea too. This place used to be good, but not anymore. I won't be back. read more

I was very anxious about my exam for work and wanted to get a coffee before my exam and the guy working in the morning was so kind and made me feel so happy and I ended up getting a 100% and I think it was truly his spirit that gave me confidence! This is my favorite location to go to; especially after work! I work in food & beverage so I take customer service seriously. Whenever I come here I'm always greeted kindly. I'm not sure what the girls names are that work the late night shift (usually around midnight) but they're always extremely friendly and make my night! They even remember me every time after I accidentally called the egg roll a "spring roll" we all joke about it now! Highly recommend visiting! read more

I really enjoy this location. I find the food to be flavorful and the staff to be kind & accommodating. Michael always goes above and beyond, especially making my special requested item which is a burrito with eggs, melted cheese, and hashbrowns. I find the tortilla to always be fresh, warm, soft & flavorful. The hashbrowns to be warm, fluffy & crispy. The eggs to be creamy, fluffy and delightful and the cheese to be nice and melty. Crack in the Box! I stopped in this Jack in the Box for a quick breakfast. I had a couple of supreme croissant breakfast sandwiches and cup of coffee. The breakfast croissants were good. The egg was well cooked and the ham and bacon were simple yet tasty. The croissant should of been warmer than they were, but good enough. They were a decent deal receiving two for $4. I stopped in here for lunch. They had a little line going on but it was not as long as their competition across the street. It was one reason why I stopped here plus for some reason I really like their tacos. For some reason, I have a real fascination with their tacos. Their taco sauce goes really good with it. I tried a non Jack in the Box hot sauce with their taco because it was all I had available at the time. It did not go well with it, so stick to their own hot sauce. Staff was quick and efficient. Order was correct and they gave me hot sauce. I forgot what the inside of a fast food restaurant looks like. I don't know that app to order how to glitch and put the pick up location on this location because yesterday I did an order from here so I wasn't another location they told me that no the location was in another place so I called this Jack-in-the-Box to see if they can cancel the order because that's what the other location told me to do and what do I get they hang up on me and they did the order complete like if they already gave it to me so I drove for 15 minutes and when I got there, they were surprise I went to pick up my order. Absolutely the best service i received from one of the Jack chains I've visited so far. Ordered chicken sandwich & ultimate cheese combo. As soon as i got to the window i was received with a smile & an apology for waiting too long in the line. Unfortunately there was an incident where one of my food bags fell to the floor. I politely asked if they would like me to park out front so i wouldn't hold back the line. Cashier said it wasn't necessary & was very professional about the mistake. This was my first visit to this location. Overall, it was a quick and reasonably priced option for solid fast food. The portions were good for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and a drink for $20. The service was fine and the ambiance was as expected. We went with two classic buttery jacks. The food came out hot and fast. We struggled to find tables that were open or clean. The food was above McDonald's quality, but still fast food. The tangy sauce on the burgers was interesting- not bad, just unexpected. I used to come here all the time, but not after today. I don't know if the drive through people were having a bad day, but I ordered a supreme croissant and a large sprite. They asked if I wanted hash browns as well, & before I was finished saying "no thank you", she cut me off and said pull forward. The man who handed my food to me seemed irritated. He went to hand me my receipt and and I shook my head no and said, " just the drink" which they had not given to me yet. He shoved the receipt at me and said, "you don't want your receipt?" I again said "no just the drink". Another woman handed the drink to him and then to me and said "sorry, that's my fault". I said, "it's ok". I could see they were busy so I understood, but as I pulled away she said "you're lucky you got fries!". I went inside and gave them back the fries. Here I was minding my own business chomping away at a good ole $0.99 taco with a friend talking about how good life is when WHAM! I was struck in the shoulder by something. It felt like a 100 mph baseball struck me. I thought "what the heck just happen?" I looked over and noticed a milkshake was chucked at me and was all over my clothes and the ground. I look up and see a man with a pierced face staring me down as if I was one of his last batters he struck out to finish up a big game during the World Series. Too bad this wasn't the World Series and thank goodness this wasn't a baseball. As seconds passed by I look at the guy and responded, "dude, wtf?!" The manager stormed out and grabbed the guy, forcing him to leave the restaurant. The guy was probably very confused wondering why he's being pulled out when he made one of the biggest strike outs of his life. The whole situation puzzled me. I just couldn't add up the numbers. Why would anyone do that? Why would anyone just waste a perfectly good milkshake like that? Or maybe he was just trying to give me a milkshake and wasn't sure how to give it to me properly and he wanted to make sure he gave it to me fast enough so I wouldn't be missing out on it. Whatever the case was, we lost one tasty milkshake and the management did a great job taking care of the whole situation.
