Last night for the second time in three weeks, we walked out of wild Buffalo wings in Sanford, Because even 80% of tables were available but they can't accomodate us due to lack of enough server for party of eight. Because of my first review, somebody with owner title was begging us to give him a second chance. That's why I was naive enough to ask my friends to give him a second chance. Suspecting it will be a mess all over. When I told 10 the manager about the second chance it's the worst thing in completely denied, telling us that he's following the corporate policy. Some policy turning down paying customers. Small or large group the service is so slow and awkward that every time in the past, we had to go get plates and utensils next to the bar to start eating the food on the table getting cold. read more

Came here on a crazy Saturday night and I ran here to say how insanely GOOD your host is doing. He did not have the tools to manage the influx of customers but he somehow kept himself organized and kept things moving. No tablet, no list, nothing but his brain. Hypothetically speaking, if someone orders cauliflower instead of chicken, wouldn't you think it would be fried in an oil that isn't used for chicken also? Just left this place - waited 10 minutes to be seated while workers stared at us like why are you here. There was a giant cockroach in the seat and so they gave us another seat and there were ants in the menus. We complained to the manager but he didn't care. So this is like my 3rd time going to this location and it's really not great but I keep going to at least try new flavors and give it a chance but there was something seriously bad about this order. So, I got the curry and jalapeño boneless wings for takeout and omg.. the fries were fine but both sauces were disgusting. First off the curry one just tasted like salt paste with a hint of expired curry powder THEN the jalapeño ones were one of the worst things I've ever had. I am the least picky eater and usually will eat anything even if it's bad but holy shit I couldn't even finish chewing the wing. This thing tasted like straight hand sanitizer that was mixed with corn syrup and the cheapest liquor that was left out then put back and got freezer burnt. Like woah completely inedible. After visiting a few BWW in Orlando and having a great experience we decided to visit this location because it's closer. Unfortunately, there was a drastic difference in the food quality. BWW promotes their "new and improved" boneless wings and by every account they are 100% better, but after visiting the Sanford location you get the feeling they didn't get the memo. On our first visit the wings were lukewarm, hard and many pieces were missing sauce. Matthew Edington (the general manager in training) reached out to me and offered a $25 credit to give them a try again. We visited today around noon. There weren't many people in the restaurant, but when we showed up the hostess said she needed to clean the table and she'd be right back. Ok, no big deal. Fifteen minutes later and she was still gone. I saw a family of five come in and leave because no one ever came to greet them. They have a special for a tall $5 blue moon. When my friend went to order her second one she was told they were out. She asked if they could offer another beer at the $5 price since blue moon wasn't available, but she was told no. She paid full price for a shock top. When we placed our order I made sure to tell our waitress about our previous visit and how Mr. Edington emailed me. When the wings came out they looked identical to my previous experience. Unfortunately, they were cold, hard and missing sauce. I brought this to her attention and she offered to take them back, but by this point I was over it. This location is like the black sheep of BWW. I appreciate Mr. Edington reaching out and trying to make things right, but they missed the mark again. read more

I frequent this Buffalo Wild Wings and usually sit at the bar to watch sports. The last two times I've visited I had a different bartender but the same experience. My food comes out quick and as expected. What would really help BWW deliver an exceptional is possibly a more consistent rotation of bar staff. It's nice to know the bartender and be known as a regular but I understand not always possible. Additionally some nights the bartenders are overwhelmed with service tickets as well as their bar top and it's noticeable to the customers how overwhelmed they can be and ultimately effects service. Show up at 7pm on a Saturday night, ordered an unsweetened iced tea. No go, they are out of tea bags to make iced tea. So I guess the will not be iced tea got several days. My son went into the bathroom, says no paper towels or any way to dry hands. An hour and half later I go in still no paper towels. Track down manager ask if they have people checking bathrooms through out the night.He comments ask the time, told him no towels he then says the battery must be dead in the towel despenser, told him they mask noise but it was empty. Mentioned to him about the tea bags said oh well. Never going back health issues with no paper towels, no idea how to manage a restaurant. read more

I haven't been to B-Dubs in a very long time. However we had a gift card and wings just sounded amazing yesterday. I went to the Sanford location with my young son. Erica was our waitress and she was amazing. She came over right away I asked to put a food order in for my son which came out very quickly and he ate all of his food which having a young son you know is few and far between.. macaroni and cheese was very ooey and gooey and it came with oranges which he gobbled right up and Erica even brought us some more oranges without being asked. I ordered my all-time favorite buffalo chicken wrap normally it had been dry always have to ask for extra sauce which then you get charged. However this one came out with plenty of sauce and ranch and it was just delicious and the upcharge potato wedges were worth the extra dollar they were crispy and delicious. We prefer Wingstop but Buffalo Wild Wings is closer and the food is good. The problem is the service at the Sanford location. When you go in they act if they don't want to serve you. If you look around the waiters/waitress prefer talking in a group than waiting on tables. Every time we go here, it's a let's down with the exception of today. We had a wonderful server, food came out quickly, and we were out the door in an hour with a 2 year old. I called ahead to order 6 traditional wings for takeout. I had a birthday reward- if you sign up for their club you get 6 free wings. I told them on the phone and went to redeem it. Over the phone I specifically asked for carrots and celery with the wings. The wings did not come with carrots or celery... and the "free" birthday reward IS NOT 100% FREE!!! I didn't pay a lot- somewhere between $1-2 but that still is very annoying. All Buffalo Wild Wings aren't created equal, although the consistency of the food may have you thinking they are. It seems no matter which location you visit the products are pretty good for what it is. We decided to grab a cocktail and a bite to eat here and for-go the usual painful decision making process we sometimes find ourselves in when surrounded by practically every chain restaurant known to man. After exiting the truck in a hurry escaping a pending thunderstorm with some impressive lightning and deafening thunder we were seated almost immediately after walking through the front doors, lucky for us we were seated in the vicinity of a table filled with five years attending a birthday party on the 'bar side' of the restaurant - well needless to say we never heard another thunder boom, the service was painfully slow but finally he arrived our server Stew this guy is the cool I mean like 1960's cool, longer hair held neatly in place by a psychedelic headband, a groove vibe and a wonderful gift of gab but a horrible sense of time. We ordered a few mules he suggested Tito's and told us he would craft them himself since the bar was moving kinda slow today, well the drinks didn't arrive in record time by any means but they were respectable. Shortly after that the chile queso and chips arrived and Stew entertained each table that sat in his area not the fastest server but he's making tip, I know I over tipped him because by the end of the meal I felt like he was my cousin or something. The food was meh as expected, the cocktails were refreshing, I would of loved another mule but who has that much time. There was a theme here the entire time we were here and that was "seat yourself" despite the clear signage to wait for a host. There were two servers that were hustling and one of them finally seated us. The hostess did come out for a minute and gave the server an attitude as if she couldn't be bothered. The food was ok. My husband liked his traditional wings and the fries but the boneless wings were overcooked. The new general Taos wing flavor was great! We stopped here for lunch with the peeps. Stew was our server and was friendly, helpful, and entertaining. They had my twisted margarita here, some BWWs don't have it. It was the best one so far. I ordered the Santa Fe salad, RJ had the Caesar salad, peeps had the usual burger and chicken fingers. My salad was the best version of that as well. I debated even writing a review because looks like their not doing so hot on their reviews and this probably will make no difference. There's clearly a lack in managements care for costumer experience or satisfaction (just read some other reviews). With that being said usually you go to a restaurant (you've previously been to) because you have something specific in mind you are craving. Well if that's the case DO NOT GO. Could we blame this on COVID? Sure, or just the fact they don't care. Unfortunately I did not get a photo of the very pathetic buffalo "salad" I ordered for reference, but I'll try my best to describe the pure disappointment of it. If you've ever ordered one before you will know the difference.... So apparently they changed and "updated" their buffalo salad which is now a buffalo wedge salad. If you are like me, wedge lettuce just is gross because half of the lettuce typically taste like it's been ran through a dirty dishwasher. That's besides the point, I clearly asked if they could change it for the other lettuce they had, which they did. Ok, so here it goes. Upon arrival of my salad the server sat it down and ask "is this ok" (as if she already knew it was quite pathetic herself and was just hoping I wouldn't say anything) and me being the person I am never wanting to return food in the fear I'd be met with a little surprise in my "fixed" food, I stayed silent. So again, if you've had the salad you know how it usually looks. Amway, so this salad came with one measly tender half coated in sauce, 3 thinly sliced tomatoes and 4 pieces of chopped bacon..... no onion like it said in the description (no blue cheese but I specifically asked for non because that would have put me out of commission for the rest of the day, so she did listen to me, I'll give her that) ....it's a $12 salad..... again I feel like I'm failing all of my readers by not providing a photo of this so I apologize.
