What was great: the taste of the food, how quick it came out after ordering, and the restaurant was nice and clean. What wasn't so great: after ordering, we waited just over 40 minutes for our server to come back to our table. At this point, it was so late and we were ready to leave, so we asked for a box to take the next app to go and were denied the box because of the unlimited app no box policy. I'm very picky about wings, and was very pleased with this place. My husband and I stopped here for lunch because we were running errands in Southington/Plainville, and it was such a treat! I get emails from Buffalo Wild Wings every week advertising buy one get one free for traditional wings dine in only and when I called to make sure that I can get the 30 amount they said yes they will make it work and when I got there they wouldn't honor it. The manager was a sassy woman with a smart mouth and lied to me saying that the regional manager's number was on the front door and it wasn't. The server, who said he was the manager lied to another manager and said I called him a bozo which I did not . Buffalo Wild Wings has lost my patronage forever . Another manager kept saying that it wasn't his fault that it's a franchise and they can't do anything about it and nobody could honor what I got as an email ad coupons for buy one get one free and the buy one get one free add does not say anything about limiting the amount that you can order and that was another thing they said I could only choose up to 15 wings with the buy one get one and there was nothing about that in the advertisement that I received as an email . I don't often review chain restaurants unless I want to rant. But our trip here was something special. This was probably without hesitation the best time I've ever had at BWW. I didn't hold up allot of hope when the poor girl who sat us became our waitress. But she was on top of everything the whole time through. Ahh, BWW - good for a calorie bomb combo of regular and boneless wings with fries and a beer or two. Or in my case draft Angry Orchard. Get the dry buffalo seasoning on the boneless and a sauce of your choosing on the regular. Garlic parm is good. I like this particular location better than Waterbury, it seems far less noisy and definitely less crowded. We went here on Tuesday around 6PM. The place was pretty empty. We decided to go here to switch up places. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich. It was ok even though it had a pretty good aesthetic appeal. The chicken was stringy so I got like a knot or tendon (whatever you call it) in one of my bites. A couple whacks with a meat tenderizer would of solved that. Don't know if ill back to this location after that. My girlfriend has been craving Buffalo wild wings for a month. We ordered it last night through Uber eats. The driver messed up the first time but called me and returned my food so no big issues there. When we got the food the everything pretzel knots was burnt and absolutely disgusting very dry. The chicken was mostly breading in a little sauce. I have been cooking in restaurants for over 20 years stuff like this is unacceptable and unprofessional. Very disappointed what the establishment will not be returning here. If anybody ever asked me about this place I will tell them to stay away because it is God awful and edible and disappointing. Not as bad as Yelp would make it seem, not as good as the commercials make it look. It's a sports bar. It's not too fancy. Came here for a late dinner and for that, it was a pretty good deal. $5 wings. $5 for sliders and fries. And $3 beers. The wings were definitely the best part -- jalapeños were my preferred toppings. The sliders were just ok. Nothing beyond what you would get almost at a burger place anywhere. Nothing fancy. It was so odd- rating for this restaurant was so low here (currently 2.5) yet very high on Doordash (4.5). I've heard about this chain restaurant for a long time, so decided to give it a shot. Had 20 boneless wings delivered, sauce on the side, and an order of cheese curds. They were able to prepare it very quickly- a little too quickly. I realized why when I got it delivered. Without sauce it becomes very apparent these are frozen boneless tenders they get delivered that they heat up. So not eating fresh here. Not truly shocked, just... okay, for the 20 boneless wings on Doordash, it was $23. I checked with their actual site since I know Doordash takes a cut... and still $20. These are not special enough to justify the price. I can make these myself from a grocery store at 1/4 the cost. The cheese curds were much the same, frozen and heated up. So does this mean I hated the food? No. It tasted decent for what I was getting. It was fast. It got to me hot. It's the combo of the cost and the fact I know what it is. We were in the area and craving wings, so we came in out of convenience. We walked in just after 4:00. There was not a single person in the restaurant. No one! We even went to the bathroom to wash our hands and came back out to find a vacant restaurant! We walked over to the bar to find some sad mess mopping the floor. She looked up at us sheepishly and said, "oh yeah. I'll have someone bring you some paper menus." OK. We went and sat down and waited another five minutes. Some 13 minutes after arriving, a waitress brought menus and took drink orders. We got drinks right away because we sat next to the fountain. Then, she disappeared. Meanwhile, two other tables of people came in and sat down. She came out and took drink orders at both of those tables, and then food orders! Then, she disappeared again. Those two tables both had food before she ever came back to take our food order! When we finally got wings, we had to ask for plates (trays) to eat them on, NAPKINS, and celery. The other two tables finished their meal and LEFT before we even finished our wings. Then, we had to wait 10 minutes for her to reappear so we could get a check and get the hell out of there. I never waited so long for such mediocre overcooked, dried-out, hyper-seasoned wings for which I paid $70! Needless to say, I left no tip. Become a regular here. Do it. The staff are friendly. Very happy people. And they love to know what's going on in your life. The food is average and what you'd expect from bar food, but their happy hour specials more than make up for it. Their wing special on Tuesdays and boneless wing special on Thursdays are awesome. Repeated poor experiences at this resturant. The food is of poor quality and they use very very little sauce to the point that it is not even buffalo wings. I ordered medium buffalo bone in wings. I asked for extra sauce on the side, which they did not ever give me. I had to take them home and make my own buffalo sauce to make them resemble anything like buffalo wings they had so little on them. Came here on a Saturday around Noon and were seated immediately. Our server was fantastic! Friendly, helpful and always made sure we were doing okay. Wish I could remember his name because he was great. Wasn't expecting gourmet food, but all in our party throughly enjoyed our meals. Buffalo Wild Wings is all about "Wings, Beer, and Sports." In fact, that's their slogan. If you go there not expecting more than that, then you'll have a pretty decent time. If you go there expecting really high-class food and a nice sit-down experience, then you'll be disappointed. B-Dubs (which is what I'm sure pretty much everyone calls it) is loud and crowded, especially during big events such as UFC pay per views, so be prepared for a lot of "bros" if you go during a big sporting event. As for the food, their wings aren't too bad, but not as good as you'd like from a place that has "wings" in their name. They do, however, have a pretty good amount of flavor varieties as well as a rotating "BBW lab" flavor that always sounds interesting. VERY surprisingly, I recently had a pretty delicious banh mi-style sandwich off of what I'm guessing was a seasonal menu. The pork had a nice flavor and sauce, but what really made the sandwich was the cucumber, pickled carrots, and jalapeno peppers on top. I never thought I'd go to a place like Buffalo Wild Wings and get something like that, so it was a lovely surprise. Two simple orders, that's all, and this is not rocket science. chipotle rub boneless and mild buffalo wings. That's it, nothing complicated. But the idiots in the kitchen screwed up the order. The boneless wings were just fried chicken and cold, while the buffalo wings had the chipotle dry rub!! Food is fine. It's the service that really gets my poor review. For example, we had a horrible waitress who clearly had no desire to be there. She didn't bring silverware or napkins until we asked and never checked on us. We had to chase her down for basics like more drinks. My husband and I never placed our dinner orders (she never came back to ask!) and we all left after the apps.
