Absolutely horrible service and they do not care. Short staffed and long waits for everything. Had to get my own napkins and utensils. When we ordered a pitcher it came with chilled glasses but they were covered in someone's dip. Imagine drinking a beer from someone's old dip cup. Ugh!! Arrived with two children and waited about 5 mins to be seated. Once seated we were put in a both right next to another family (not that big of a deal yet but annoying) with an empty restaurant. We ordered on a glitch web site from a QR code the server left on the table. Wasn't sure it worked because it kept saying error.... then when food arrived (much later than previous visits) my wings were dehydrated, looking sauce was baked on the wings like they were under a heat lamp for way too long. Then I asked for a to go order for wife and son and again took extremely too long to arrive to the table and while I got to wait on it a large family with small screaming children was placed at the table next to me. I am a combat vet was in Iraq during the 03 invasion and 3 other times loud sudden noises are not my favorite....... so I left waiting on this food now staring at my empty cup of water that's been empty for about an hour now and then the server arrives and says the didn't box my to go order they put it on plates...... so again I'm waiting and staring at 3 empty cups twitching everything this small child screems from the other table and recieve a bill.... the amount is $161 and there is no itemized receipt........ this price does not seem accurate and I know I should of questioned it but I was so mad I had tunnel vision and applied hearing I would of caused physical harm if I was disrespected any further so I paid it and took the poorly packed food home and drank whisky. In short I will never return and feel like I was robed of money bad service aside my bill shouldn't of been much more than $100 don't know if he snuck in a lage gratuity charge or what?!?!? If you are ordering to go, add 15-20 minutes to whatever ETA is provided. This location has never met the time that is listed on the order. Not once. Location opens at 11. They were just 20 minutes late on an order to be ready at 12. Rush hour is not the problem. read more

I have to downgrade my stars for this place tonight. Ordered through GrubHub. Don't get me wrong, here. It is ENTIRELY GrubHub's fault that our food was two hours old when we finally got it. I get that THAT aspect was not the restaurant's fault. However, there were several parts of the order that were, most definitely, the restaurant's fault. GrubHub didn't put the wrong sauce on our order. GrubHub didn't put the wrong sides on our order, the restaurant is responsible for those things. Yet, when I called to try and address these things, BWWs position was "not our problem." We were told any problems were GrubHub's responsibility, and we should take our issues to them. As a 20+ year vet of the customer service/hospitality industry, I find this attitude insulting, and I think BWW should be ashamed of themselves for this attitude. My wife and I visit this location 3-4 times per month, or we USED to. Shame. I'll miss you Tomball BWW. Please improve your attitude towards your customers. read more

Every time I leave this place I ask myself "why did I come here?". Unfortunately, last night was no exception, but missing the many good flavors of the wings, wont be enough to return with my hard earned money. The one thing i ordered to eat, small size traditional wings in both hot and honey bbq, came out terrible. Both were two separate temperatures-which is worrisome. And neither one was hot, both were some variance of barely warm. And i ate there! The hot barbecue hardly had any sauce while the honey was plentiful. For having over 15 beers, they have a horrible selection. there is just no reason a place specializing in beer and wings can have such terrible offerings. read more

Not sure what's going on with BWW in general, and at this location specifically, but it's adding up to make me want to find a new wing destination. First the menu change, eliminating non-chicken or burger options. Not a big deal for me, but, the family likes the other options while I got wings. Second, the change in the salsa recipe has not been great. Flavor is ok, but, I feel like I'm eating tomato paste. This location no longer carries Sam Adams or Sam Seasonal on tap. I might be the only person bummed about that here. Came in today for my monthly wings craving. The room is freezing, despite the fact that it's only in the 60's outside. I feel like I need a jacket to sit here. The room was mostly empty when we arrived, but the TVs are turned up so loud I can't hear my son on the other side of the table. Asked to turn it down, but, I imagine the request fell on deaf ears, judging by the noise in here right now. To top it off, our server told us that they were shorthanded in the kitchen, and our order could be more than a half hour. For chicken wings. Are you kidding me? Today was the Red River Showdown, and tonight kicks off the American League Division series. How do you not have enough help in the kitchen, or not have the ability to get more help in when people call out? My hubby and I refer to BWW as "the birthplace of our love" because it is where we had our first date so we have seen it through a lot of ups and downs between this location and Willowbrook. There is new management here at this location and they are fully aware of what the problems are and i think are working hard to solve them. We don't mind the long waits for food because we go to watch games and are going to be there a few hours anyway. In our couple of visits here the past month (Willowbrook is just always too full when we want to go) service has been really on point and while we had to wait for a table and wait for food to come, it was consistently worth the wait. The cheese curds are to DIE for delicious. Tonight my wings were served cold but i brought it to our server's attention and I had hot, fresh remade ones in under 5 minutes. Yum yums. Our celery and carrots were fresh and crunchy, our french fries hot and delicious. My biggest complaint about this and any Bdubs is a PATRON PROBLEM. It is a great family place but why let your babies and toddlers make huge ridiculous messes all over the tables and floor and just leave it for the servers? Come on ya'll. Maybe our refills could come a little faster and tables could be turned faster if the servers weren't trying to restore order in the wake of your disaster area. They don't have bussers (i think this is a corporate deficiency by the way) so it is extra uncool to be trashy. Corporate if you are listening, get COCA-COLA products, go back to the old salsa recipe please because the one now is just flavorless and awful and doesn't know if it wants to be salsa or tomato paste. If I could give ZERO stars I would. We were one of four tables in the place at 2pm and everyone's order came out 5 mins apart. My salad arrived 20 mins after everyone else's food. Ice water tasted like dishwater. The AC dripped all over the edge of the table and when I alerted the manager, I was told "yeah it's been dripping a while". REALLY!?! I asked for a replacement drink was was told they have no diet drinks but eventually brought me a bottled water that would not stand up on its own. Never again. read more

This has pretty much been the spot my husband and I go to at least 2 times a week or every other week, especially during sport events on TV etc since 2017. He has been coming here long before we met. However since the new management take-over this place and its service has gone way down. 99% of the time we sit in the bar area and since the end of last year, the service and attitudes have gotten slower and horrible. The women behind the bar are slow, rude and are obviously too overwhelmed to give decent service. Just this last time we were there, the bar itself had maybe 4 people in total, and it took her about 10 min to even ask what we wanted to drink after we sat down. During their happy hour, usually 2 hrs long, our glasses were empty and we had about 10 min left to order just one more, and during that time she did not come by once so we had to flag someone down to get the refill before that end time just to save a couple of dollars. The previous bartender and bar back at the end of last year were amazing and made a great team when working together. His name, Nick, ran that bar, at full capacity quickly, appropriately and friendly. There has not been anyone behind that bar as efficient or professional since they let him go. That was their first mistake. Second was putting people behind that bar who have no idea what they're doing and who cannot handle the workload during busy times, or at any times for that matter. BWW was 5 star during that time. It is no longer that. The older lady absolutely should not be behind that bar, she is rude, presumptuous, and slow. Took her 10-15 min to even ask someone we were with what he and his date wanted to order, and all they wanted was water before ordering food. She was highly rude to him, face to face, and we almost got up and left at that point, though she did get her tip accordingly in the end. BWW is not the same since new management, the wings are still yummy, never had an issue with the food, and the service in the restaurant area has never been an issue. Only the bar area since replacing their old employees with the new ones. Sadly we are going to start going to a different BWW and hope for better and friendlier service. read more

I have to say this location has a problem getting food out of the kitchen in a timely manner. I was hoping the bad reviews were a fluke, but sure enough they weren't. Not sure if the kitchen staff is screwing off, or just the wait staff. I came on a very slow day with maybe 3 other tables of customers. I was unlucky enough to be seated bu the hostess only 2 tables down from a group of about 5-6 employees just chattering away at one of the tables. Maybe one of them should have gone to help out in the kitchen? Luckily the wings were still good. My cheese wedges were a little well done and every wedge stuck to the side of the paper boat they come in. The "Hot BBQ" flavor tastes nothing like bbq. This has been a horrible experience and should have walked out before it started. The bartender just stared at me as I was standing waiting to be acknowledged and seated. I stood there for a good 10 minutes before she finally came over and incoherently mumbled and pointed at the bar area, she is clearly high or drunk or maybe both. All the tables that weren't occupied were littered with debris or closed. I just sat and a guy came up to me to say the table i sat at was closed. So I moved, he is the highlight of the night.. his name is Brad and he was off the clock but saw I was frustrated and took my order for the job hating bartender and brought me a drink. Its been 45 minutes and still no food. Brad is gone and the bartender could careless about the 5 tables, only about her friends at the bar who are all being extremely loud as well as her. I legit want to walk out but I am so hungry. As a bartender/server myself I can't imagine not tipping someone but she has done nothing and if anyone will get my tip it will be Brad. Food is finally here and it is warm at best, fries are cold and soggy. Today, I had the displeasure of visiting this horrid location. We had a party of 9 which is relatively large, but considering the amount of tables open in the restaurant, we should not have been stranded at the entrance for 1 hour. And after we had been informed a table had been prepared, we strutted across the restaurant just to find out that only 6 of us could sit down despite the amount of open tables in the area. It took another 15 minutes for the rest of us to acquire a table, and it took an ADDITIONAL 20 minutes for a waiter to decide to take our order. When the food came out, we had to send it back to the kitchen because they had fricked up our requests. They were also very stingy about their sides, for they only gave us a scarce amount of fries. I only received 15 fries in total. To add to this splendid experience, there was at least 2 infants in Snow White costumes balling their eyes out while I was attempting to observe the Fornite live event on my mobile device. The ONLY reason they get a 1 star review is because the waiter named Byron was clutch and took our order because the waitress who was in charge of our table disregarded us. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
