I remember coming here once before, but for the time of this check in, I came by myself to pick up wings to go (since I didn't have time to sit down). the parking lot is spacious and same with the seating... but they have two entrances so when I came in the main entrance to be seated, no one was there to help me or even said they'll come and help med... so I went across the restaurant to the other entrance where I was helped - very sweet lady. The kids ordered the hot dogs--good price, but how can you mess up a hot dog? It was fine. At least it wasn't burnt or anything. I ordered fish tacos and a margarita. Fish tacos were dry and non-descript (tastes like chicken?), but I should know better than to order fish from a sports bar. The margarita was another story. It tasted like watered down lemonade. It made me wonder if they even added any tequila. So we asked the waiter about it, and he said we could talk to his manager. The manager (who looked like she was 18) came over and asked what she could do, and if she could get us another drink since I didn't like the margarita. I thought that was such a nice gesture, so I just ordered a glass of wine. Once we finished playing the trivia (the handheld game piece was greasy and gross, by the way. Good thing there are hand wipes available), we received our bill. The manager CHARGED US for BOTH the wine and the margarita. We decided to grab lunch on Sunday at the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Watchung, NJ this afternoon. While waiting for a table we decided to grab some drinks at the bar. Our first round was ordered quickly, but a second round seemed to take forever. The bar tender seemed more interested in putting away glasses than serving us. Once we got our table, we quickly ordered wings to start and some drinks and ordered burgers for entrées. The drinks and wings came to our table within a reasonable amount of time. However it took an hour for our burgers to come out. I know this because we were having fun with SCVNGR app on our phones. We fulfilled many of the tasks and by the time our burgers came the app informed me that I had checked in an hour ago, witch I had done after we ordered our food. So after an hour of waiting, our food finally came out and one of our meals was wrong. It did take some time for the correct dish, but compared to an hour, it seemed quick. I brought all of this to the attention of a manager. He offered us free desserts, but at that point we had been at the restaurant for 2.5 hours, so we declined. He then said he would give us some discounts off our check. So we asked our server for the check and it came without any discounts on it. We told the server that the manager had said he would take something off and she took it to the manager. To our disappointment, the manager only took off $5 dollars. This seems like a small amount for how long we were there and how much we were inconvenienced for the rest of our day. After another look at the check, there were also several charges that should not have been there. We were charged for a soda that we had a coupon for a free one and one of the burgers was supposed to have Buffalo Chips instead of fries for $0.50 but here charged $2.99. We also were only given the $5 dollar discount that we were going to ask for from completing the SCVNGR tasks. Being too frustrated and having places to go, we just paid and left. The long and short of it is, we spent 3 hours at the BW3 in Watchung, NJ and wasted an afternoon because of mistakes made by the restaurant and were not properly compensated. In fact, after being told we would be, we weren't at all. We were very upset with our experience and will seriously think twice about going back to Buffalo Wild Wings and will be sure to pass the tale onto our friends who are thinking about going. read more
