It's a pretty solid Miller's Ale House, we were in the area and stopped in last night looking for something to munch on while watching the Devil's game. They lost - no surprise there but what was surprising is how good everything else was. Barbecued Ribs were outta sight, Flat Iron Steak was reported to be cooked to perfection, Boom Boom Shrimp were delicious, Fries were Crispy and mildly seasoned, and the Broccoli was. . . I mean it's Broccoli let's face it, it was as good as Broccoli can get, Lol. Service here was spot-on and kept us well attended, well fed, and well hydrated all throughout our entire visit. We tried the Boom Boom Shrimp, which were crispy and packed with flavor; the sauce was amazing. The Pan Fried Potstickers were also delicious, savory pork dumplings with a perfectly balanced dipping sauce (though I wish there had been more!). They don't even look at the customers to see if they would like another or need anything, much less walk over and speak to them. The bar was half empty (ie., not busy). Great first time visiting this location after the 2-3 years since they opened. Service was busy but friendly. Awesome atmosphere for sports events. 1. Stopped by on Wing Wednesday to get some of my favorite wings and watch some of the Knicks game. On Wednesdays they currently offer a dozen bone in wings for $11.99, that's a great deal! My friendly server came by to take my order which I already knew what I wanted. I ordered my drink and a dozen Garlic Parmesan wings w/ Blue Cheese dressing and than they also offer Add-ons such as fries, mozzarella sticks, salads, or shrimp so I added a side of Fried shrimp for $3.99 After a short wait and many cheers every time the Knicks scored my food arrived... I put in a request for some extra Blue cheese and some lemon for the shrimp. I started to enjoy my delicious wings which were large, crispy, and coated in that delicious sauce that I love... topped off with that Blue cheese... just perfect! After my lemon arrived I topped off my fried shrimp and then after a sprinkle of salt and some cocktail sauce I enjoyed those as well. Came on a Tuesday night with my cousin. There is karaoke Tuesdays which is actually pretty dope. Machaela did an amazing job at taking care of everyone at the bar. I ordered the fried jalapeños since I was drinking. I ordered the blueberry bourbon smash. I had 3 and they weren't strong. My cousin had lemon drops. Her last one was a tequila lemon drop. Her reaction told me it will be worth ordering. I would definitely come back for karaoke. It is a fun judge free time. The food is your average bar food so nothing to write home about. I tried Miller's Ale house for the first time today and it was decent. I wouldn't say it's the most amazing food around. It definitely is your typical sport bar and American style restaurant. I would say that my meal was okay. I will admit that I've been to better sport bars in terms of the menu for example Tommy's Tavern. At Miller's I had the MiMi's fiesta chicken and shrimp bowl. I would say it is a good restaurant if you want something simple and great for a causal meal out. The prices were also reasonable so perfect for an inexpensive meal. Took a late night dinner stop to Miller's Ale House. It's been awhile since I have been to one, this location I liked the chill vibe and the way it is built is not how I remember it. More open space, you can see everyone and nothing is blocking your way. Ordered the Chicken Fajitas. No bell peppers, food came out shortly after we ordered. Hot and ready to eat, the chicken was a good amount of sizzle. Wings and Zingers were also in our orders too - the Zingers had the additional sauces to the side (not pictured) . Unfortunately didn't have great service. Food was okay but very slow. We also felt unfairly charged for a miscommunication, and our server simply rolled her eyes at us. When my group was ordering, we asked our server how many sauces we could get with 24 wings, and we were told we could get a different sauce per 12 wings. Okay, so we could get 2 different sauces for our order of 24. To our surprise, instead of being charged for the 24 wings, we got charged for two 12 wing dishes (extra $6). It felt unexpected, and when we asked our server, she said only one sauce per order, and since we ordered two sauces, there was nothing she could do. She definitely didn't tell us this when we were ordering. Felt like a bait and switch and left a bad impression. Otherwise a decent meal. I like Miller's it is a nice place to stop in and get some wings. I really haven't had many things on their menu, but the wings are really good. The drinks are OK. I wouldn't really say this is a place to go to and have a good drink, but if you just want to stop in and grab something on your way home, this is probably the best place to go. For takeout we got some of the basics, burgers, sandwiches and wings, and it ranged from good to very good. Firstly, the chicken wings were Large and moist inside. I got them sauced on the side, and they prepared them right - juicy and not dried out at all. The mango Habanero sauce was not quite spicy enough but it was good. The burgers were cooked properly to the order, and they are good -sized and piled high with the toppings. The Brunch burger was good, just what it should be with egg bacon and cheese on it. But the Prime burger, with shaved prime rib topping the beef patty, with grilled onions and mushrooms was excellent. Got it with the house made kettle chips which were perfectly crunchy and salty. Also got the prime rib French dip sandwich with fries which had good flavor. The items are a little bit expensive,but also generously portioned. A nice place for a budget conscious eater or drinker. The emphasis is the bar and the many TVs that are available. We came after seeing a movie across the street. They have dinner specials Monday through Friday and they are quite a deal! You can check out the specials on their website. Tuesday is a full rack of ribs for $15.99. I found them to be a bit over cooked but for the price they were fine. The waitress tried very hard to be friendly and accommodating. It's a very casual place and has a masculine vibe. My dad commented that they have lots of televisions. That was a plus for him! He also thought it was awesome that they have a margarita for under five dollars and a picture for $15. The bartender was lost... only 10 people at the bar and the food was getting out and sat by the my the metal shelf for a long time until he goes and pick it up. No glass of water given when I came in or even after I left. Bartender kept chatting with people without making his rounds and ask if we were ok or needed more beer or would like to order some more food. With bartender like this, you are loosing money. At some point and nice gentleman sat next to me and order an entire meal. His salad took a long time to make it from the kitchen shelves to customer. Then I noticed he sent back his meat for more cookies and the gentleman ended up eating almost entire food without the piece of meat brought back to him. He actually had to ask for it. I left Miller's Ale House so disappointed and here's why! After waiting almost an hour for the table, almost everything we ordered fell flat. It took almost 20 minutes for the pot stickers appetizer to make it to the table. Our meals took another 20 minutes after that and nothing was hot! The ribs were cold and dry, the loaded mashed potatoes were soupy, the fried shrimp tasted like old grease, the wings were tiny and lacked flavor, & the fries were cold. We had to wait an additional 5 minutes for my son's bbq zingers to come out and they were not hot either. The saving grace was the Caesar salad! Our waiter was nice and friendly but could've been a bit more attentive. By the time he checked on us, we were already checked out and ready to go. One of the managers walked by the table a total of 4 times and never bothered to stop to see how things were going. I tried to wave him down one time but I guess he wasn't paying attention??! New place, nice sized venue. It is a very typical sports bar, absolutely nothing unique about its layout. The service was fast, & the staff (bartender) was friendly. The parking lot is annoying, as there is no parking actually at the door, just on the two sides of the building. One side has a bunch of "Curbside Pick-Up" spots, way more than they need, & then the back is Employee parking. We did bar service, not table service. From that vantage point I could literally see them microwaving food in the large silver microwave they had in the kitchen near the bar. Drinks we had a margarita, which was not very margarita like, more like a fruit drink with a little alcohol in it. The Long Island Iced Tea was good, but far from strong....which they usually are. As for the food, the Pot Stickers were just Ok. The Garlic Parm Chips, which had sooo much potential fell very short of the mark. In short they give you a bowl of housemade style warm chips & dribbled in about a standard restaurant condiment cup worth of Garlic Parm sauce on them (you'll see in the pic). So if you're like me, & expecting them to be "well sauced," you'll be very disappointed. I must jump to the fries that came with my burger just to say that both the chips & the fries had a very familiar texture to them.....that is the texture that we all know & know does not work, it's when you microwave fries. They NEVER come out right. So they were far from crisp (chips & fries), & kinda cardboard chewy. Terrible!! Finally the burger, was not horrible. I had the 'Cue Burger,' which is supposed to have a sweet sauce on it. It MAY have had a dollop of sauce on it, & was otherwise a "sauceless" burger. I asked for it medium, it was DEFINITELY medium rare. A new place very close to our home, shame, but I told my Wife I would not come here again. After a long delay they brought our apps and main courses at the same time. To their credit they did take the apps off the bill so we didn't have them take anything back. Went here with the guys for some food and drinks during the college basketball games. Only waited 10 minutes for a table on a packed busy Saturday night. There are TV's all around, great music, food was great, drinks (non-alcoholic) were refilled and brought out without even asking, and regular check ins to make sure we were all good.
