Been there twice. Service was good both times but it wasn't the service that was the issue. The issue here is the food and how it's served. The first time I went solo, the second with my wife. Both times were for lunch. The wings aren't bad but they serve them in little paper boats without celery, carrots or ranch/bleu sauce as a standard side. This has been standard everywhere I've ever had wings. I felt as if I was shortchanged. As far as the burger, I couldn't get it the way I wanted it cooked and it arrives in a plastic basket that's so tight you can barely get your hands around it. Finally, the gravest tragedy of all, the ketchup...or should I say catsup. When my fries arrived, they were slightly limp, definitely not hand cut and possibly the frozen kind. To make matters worse, no Heinz. Are you kidding me? SOme generic label looking ketchup bottle with no name on it? I asked the waitress and she was so clueless I had to give her a lesson which I'm sure she could care less about. And too many TV's! There must be 40-50 Tvs in this place. We came here because we were hoping the food would be better than hooters. In a half hour I was wishing I was at Hooters. We went out to watch UFC fights so we expected to wait to sit. I did NOT expect to wait longer to sit because they were seating larger groups that came in after us BEFORE they sat us. At least the were playing really heavy music before the fights started, that was cool. After about a 45 minute wait, we were seated...OUTSIDE. So we are seated at low tables on the patio, trying to see into the bar, around people's heads, to watch the fight. It is also a total wind tunnel outside - they have these ridiculously strong fans on by the windows (the waitress told us it is to keep cigarette smoke outside) - stuff was blowing off our table and we had to go to the car and get jackets despite the nice weather. (It was also bad to be seated inside by the window as we chatted with the people near us and they were all freezing too). Everybody by the window was ordering coffee, odd in a sports bar. We ordered chili con queso with chips - the dip was watery with huge inedible chunks of overcooked beef, not remotely spicy and it wouldn't stay on the stale chips. My friend's burger tasted like burger king - you know, that faux smoky/grilled taste and the fries, well maybe they were ok but they got cold so fast I'm not sure. The popcorn shrimp were nicely seasoned but had so much breading they didn't taste like shrimp anymore, the mango habanero sauce I got with it was ok - kinda sweet, not as spicy as you would hope. The wings were overcooked, possibly microwaved but already cold when we got them. The caribbean jerk seasoning was good but the chicken was so inedible it didn't matter. The boneless wings tasted like fried breading as the chicken was completely dry and the hot buffalo sauce was NOT spicy.I know, you're thinking "why didn't you get the waitress??" - but that was near impossible. The BF wanted wings and generally the go to place is Hooters but I let him talk me into Buffalo wild wings. I wasn't that impressed the wings were on the dry side and a little over cooked. However, h had the jerk chicken sandwich and that was pretty good. Not writing this place off I will give them another go around before I make a solid decision. if you want this place to be a fancy non sports bar don't go because that's not what it is its a place for you and your friends to get together and watch the game eat some wings play some games using buzztime I'm going for the blazing challenge in may, I'm excited for it I've been training for it by buying a bottle of blazing sauce they've got 14 sauces ranging from sweet to your mouth is on fire and usually 2 others that they try out bugers are ehh wraps are good wings are not THE best but thats not what matters for this place its the company and the atmosphere and thats what make this place a 5 star read more

Regular sports bar type atmosphere. Wings are good, but nothing special. Their pulled pork is actually pretty good, that was a surprise. Nice place for lunch. One request, and this is for all sports bars, it's loud so put the closed caption on for the tv's. I'm a need, but I actually watch the tv's. read more

Typical Bdubz experience here. I was pleased with the speed of service after taking a long drive from NYC to Windsor. Instead of being adventurous and checking out some other places I found through Yelp, I stuck with a chain. I was so hungry I ordered mozzarella sticks while trying to decide what flavor wings. They were hot, fresh, and oh so good for a starving person. I must've never had the spicy garlic wings because they weren't what I expected. They had an orange coating and yes they were heavy with garlic. I couldn't bother sending them back or questioning the flavor - too hungry to care and my server was so nice I didn't want to make anything inconvenient for her. They tasted fine and were fried properly...just not what I had expected. The potato wedges with a side of BBQ sauce were also fresh in addition to the carrots. Water refill service was timely and I didn't have too much of a wait when requesting the check. Downside - the TVs were way too loud for the amount of people and the time of night. read more

Went to this location fairly late at night with a large group and the service was great. The wait staff were very accommodating to our group and even rearranged several tables to get us all together. Our food came within a reasonable time and was hot. The wings were good the jerk flavor was alright, but nothing like the authentic Jamaican jerk chicken of course. My favorite flavor was the Parmesan garlic wings. The salad was less than appetizing, which is understanding since it is a wing joint. Overall its good if you are looking for wings. read more

Okay: I can't understand how you can have so many staff and still manage to have so few customers, AND...the customers you DO have are sitting there wondering why their server seems to be ignoring them. Had dinner there sat night. The place was packed, and there was only seating in the bar. this is definitely a sports bar type place. extremely loud. Their main menu is beer and wings. Had some wings, and tried two different sauces. both very good. Also had a burgers. burgers were overcooked, and bun was stale. had a salad with the burger, and it had old lettuce that was beginning to rot. Perhaps i deserved this for ordering a burger and salad at a place that specializes in beer and wings. Bottom line, Id love to go back and try out some more of their wind sauces and have some beer. but ill stick to the wings and beer. read more

The service was great. People came by and checked with us a lot once we were seated, like they weren't even our waiter. Everyone is funny and upbeat. The medium wings are not too spicy. I've had most of their sauces and they're all unique. Their blackened chicken was great, ecept it could use a little more spices. Great friendly staff make this a great place to watch a game. Manchester has a better patio for enjoying the good weather. Windsor is a bit larger inside. I just need 301 and a ice cold beer and I am in for a great time. Wings of course but try the LTO it can be excellent. read more

We always order take out from here, while occasionally staying at the bar or getting a table and eating in there. The service is usually awesome for take out ! Although the bar crowd can become roudy, it is a good atmosphere and always plesant service. Food never disappoints, you know what you're in for when you order. Good wings. read more

I stopped by this particular BWW late early evening on a Saturday on the way to the Gabriel Iglesias show at Foxwoods. The restaurant itself is very clean and the atmosphere is extremely lively. As far as the setup, I think this is my favorite out of all the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants that I have been to. We were promptly seated and given a booth no less with just two people. Extra points for the host who gave us the booth, instant win! Our waitress was very friendly and seemed to be interested in keeping customers happy. She admitted that she started not too long ago and actually was very excited to learn something about the Blazin' Rewards app that I knew. I mentioned that I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and she was very accommodating with that fact. The food took around the average amount of time, and was just what I was expecting. I ordered an order of medium boneless wings with sweet barbecue, garlic parmesan and bourbon honey mustard along with a side of cheese curds. I have to admit, this is more or less my go-to meal and this time was exceptionally good. The breading on the chicken was far better than last time and the chicken was very tender. The first time I was here was a very jarring and unpleasant experience. I remember I came in and ordered boneless wings; when they came out they looked really tasty & then I tried one and it was completely raw inside. If you've never bit into raw chicken before it leaves you completely scarred for a long time. I decided after a couple years to give this place another shot. The second time was a lot better and I enjoyed my meal (I avoided the boneless wings due to the PTSD from the last encounter). The third time I was here was an even better experience and got several different appetizers with a couple friends - each one was delicious! I'm glad I decided to give BWW another chance, I think 2 out of 3 experiences were positive enough to cancel out the first one :) read more

Horrible! If you are a guy and you want a couple of beers. And you want to see a big game, then go, but don't have any moe than a drink. If your going for a meal, dont even think about it. It is so expensive, and you get practically nothing. Everything is served in paper container, or in a basket. THe food is cold when you get it. I had lunch at Buffalo Wild wings in Windsor CT last Tuesday, and I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed. I called ahead to place my lunch order. I let the person on the phone know that I would be dining in, but since crispy wings took longer I decided to call in so I wouldn't be waiting the 45 minutes to an hour it took to get my lunch the last time I was at your restaurant. I was told to let someone at take out know when I arrived, and I did. When I got to the restaurant Let the woman at take out know I was there, and she told me that someone would be out to take care of me shortly. A few minutes later, I was handed a take out bag and asked to pay my bill, at the take out counter. When I reminded the cashier that I called the order to dine in, I was told to take a seat in the dining room, and brought my drink. That was the last time that anyone of your employees spoke to me. Not only was I ignored the entire time I was there, my wings were rubbery and grossly under cooked. If I wasn't already pressed for time, I would have flagged down a manager and addressed my complaints. I have been to several other Buffalo Wild Wings, and have never received service this bad at any other location. When I addressed my concern on the restaurant's Facebook page I was told to fill out a form on the corporate website. I did just that, and still have not even been acknowledged by the anyone from the BWW. read more

All in all I would say I liked Buffalo Wild Wings atmosphere and food . However I will go on the record and say we will never come back to this location again because of our server . Kristen was extremely rude and constantly gave us eye rolls for no apparent reason . This place has tons of flatscreens and big screens-- over 50 I think. Lots of wing sauces, great wings. My girlfriend got a wrap and played trivia so I could watch every game I wanted to see at the same time-- even obscure DII football when i asked for it, they had it. Went again on Thursday for NFL network and the place was on fire! Good times. read more

I believe I have already reviewed this place, but a recent experience has made me change my opinion. Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were catching what was supposed to be a quick lunch while we ran a few errands, and our experience started as disappointing, and ended in disaster. Our server was pleasant, but forever absent. The restaurant was very busy and seemed a bit short staffed. Our food took a terribly long time to arrive, and when it did, we found it very unsatisfactory. The kitchen messed up our wings order as well, so more time was spent tapping our toes and waiting for the order to be fixed. If these had been the only problems, we might have left thinking they were having an off day and we might have come back another time. However, just as we were finishing up and paying the bill, my boyfriend took a sip from his drink and crunched down on what he thought were pieces of ice. They were actually shards of glass. He immediately began spitting out chunks of glass and panicking because he feared he may have swallowed some. We called over a manager and she was unsure how to handle the situation. She comped our bill, against my wishes, and we rushed off to the emergency room to make sure there hadn't been any real damage. I'm so frustrated to think that a glass had broken, perhaps in the ice at the bar, or around other glasses, and proper protocol was not followed to ensure the safety of the patrons. We will surely not be returning and we will be sure to advise everyone we know to avoid this place as well. read more

Terrible service. We waited over a half hour just to order drinks then even longer to order food (had we known, we would've ordered food at the same time as our drinks!) finally ordered our food and it took 45 minutes to arrive. And to top things off it was cold! Asked for the blue cheese they forgot to bring us four times and it never came (but don't worry, they still charged us for us. Apparently you don't get a complimentary blue cheese with your wing order.) Ordered another round of drinks and they never arrived. Finally got our bill and after waiting half an hour for the waitress to come and take our credit cards, we finally went and found the manager. Thankfully the manager understood our frustrations over our hour dinner turning into a 3 hour ordeal, so he took the drinks that we actually did receive off of our bill. Overall a terrible experience for not very good food. If you want Buffalo Wild Wings definitely go to the one in Manchester - MUCH BETTER SERVICE!!! read more

Arrived at 9PM on a Sunday for a quick bite at the bar on a hotel stay. Only place open until 11... Or so I thought. However I walked all the way back to the bar and saw half a dozen seated tables but not a staff member until the bartender. So I sat down, and she walked away without saying a word. Sat for more than 5 minutes, no sign. Then I noticed all the bottles had been capped and beer taps locked for the night. Open until 11? Guess not. The bone in wings are not cooked crispy instead they are fatty and not breaded. Get them in side or to go and they are still disgraceful for a place with "Wings" in the name. Sorry for being so honest but it's the truth! The boneless wings are not bad but eat in if you don't want them soggy. I live across the street and the take out is always cold. The last time I ordered to go I got 50 boneless wings, a salad, and cheese cake bites for a little over $70. I'm was not upset about the price, food is food but when I noticed there was no ranch or blue cheese for my wings. I asked the boy at the counter for them and he proceeded to look up my order in the computer and say you weren't charged for any. I looked at him baffled because I just spent more than enough to get a free $.50 side of ranch and wings are supposed to come with them! After all that I said don't they come with it? And he says yes and walks in back to get some. All together I spent an extra 15 mins inside for something that should have been solved in a matter of seconds. Got home and my wings were cold and so soggy I barely ate any. Take out is not worth it here in my opinion. read more

I think that unfortunately, these places are hit or miss depending on what one is looking for and what day it is. Fortunately for us, it was a hit! Yes, it's noisy; we were there to watch football, so we were expecting that. The wings were tasty in all the varieties we tried. I like trying wings with different sauces and there aren't too many places you can find that. BWW does it well. They have many different beers on tap. My wife and I enjoyed our meal and the football game. It was very busy the night we went but we enjoyed great service. We've read reviews for this one and the one in New Haven which is closer to us and I would much rather drive to Windsor or Milford than go to the one in NH. I also really enjoy playing the games against other patrons using your phone or the game devices they have. Simple pleasures. read more

About 12 hours after having a few beers, a pretzel & cheese dip appetizer, and one order of wings at BWW in Windsor, everyone in my party became violently ill with food poisioning.
