I attended with my family and we have mixed feelings surrounding our recent experience, but my perceived encounter resulted in the negative outweighing the positive. The music was rather loud and there were no outside lights on when we arrived. Many tables were dirty despite few tables being utilized. The traditional wings and sauces were excellent, as were the vodka tonic and the blackberry limeade. However, this is where I question the overall service, respect, and communication of our waitress. Prior to ordering drinks, we asked if the drinks had free refills to which we were informed yes and proceeded to order the blackberry limeade with one refill throughout the course of our dinner. The bill came and we questioned the double charge for the blackberry limeade and were told all drinks had free refills with the exception of alcoholic beverages and the lemonades/limeades. Our waitress had stated we only asked about the sodas (not true we didn't order soda) and she did not say anything when we immediately proceeded to order the limeade. Upon her return with the bill, she presented with an attitude as noted by tone of voice, lack of eye contact, and immediately departing from our table. Buffalo Wild Wings, a great restaurant to enjoy the game(s) without being interrupted, except by indigestion. Located immediately off of I-91 exit 38 in Windsor, CT. Buffalo Wild Wings offers several flavor variations of wings that will take seemingly forever to order and other nondescript bar food. We have been to Buffalo Wild Wings a couple of times. we have ordered out and gone to dine in at their Windsor location. The number of televisions and games being played in their location is impressive but that will be one of the only things that impresses you. The wait staff is extremely immature, rude and so slow. On two seperate times we went while the place was pretty much empty. The building is about the size of a football field and one girl was 'waiting' on two tables in the extreme corners. The rest of the staff was just chillin' at a table shooting the shit about the last party they went to or their latest sexual experience. Nothing that I really wanted to hear that was for sure. You would thing that a restaurant know for one type of food would be good at making that food but even with us being the only people ordering in the restaurant it still took 30 minutes for 12 full size wings and 12 'midget wings'. There is nothing worse than waiting 30 minutes for wings and half of them look like they don't even have meat on them. Similar to Chinese buffet's this place is like Russian roulette, for a midsized party someone is going to get indigestion, someone is going to get sick and or diarrhea. Went out for dinner and drinks with some friends recently. My first two thoughts that come to mind are HUGE and LOUD. This place was very large, and even though I came on a Friday night, it was not too busy. Maybe because there were no big games playing... I ordered a nacho plate and one of the specialty drinks. I was surprised that the nachos were cold (or not cooked) rather than hot nachos with melted cheese/the works. This made it feel more like a salad with random chips mixed in. The drink was fine, nothing to write home about. The TV screens are HUGE and when I came one was playing soccer, another golf, etc. It is also very loud. Full disclosure, I don't like wings, so maybe I am being unfair, but the whole experience was underwhelming. The wait staff is very nice and service was good. I used to have a love hate relationship with this location. I've always been a fan of BWW but this location is by far the worst. Certain times I'd go in and they were very understanding and tried fixing their mistakes. There was always something wrong. From food quality to service to wrong orders. It kept me coming back hoping it'd get better. My coworkers and I went in one night with a larger party an our waitress was very nice. There was another worker there who was extremely unprofessional and knew somebody in my party. She and the manager were very rude. Have to agree with most of the other reviews. I'd give it 2.5 starts if I could...but 3 was just too much. This place is great it you just want a place to hang out with a bunch of people, have some drinks, and watch the game(s) as the bar area is pretty huge, and there's a crap load of TVs. The food, however, is kinda meh. Food: The wings are reasonably good, though they aren't particularly cheap and they seem to always be on the small side. Some of the sauces are pretty good, but they're nothing spectacular. The Asian Zing and Mango Habanero are pretty good. I hate the "plates" they use for the wings..they're flimsy and cheap looking. They need to at the very least come up with a way to consolidate them into a larger container when you order several flavors... Drinks: So they have a ton of beer to choose from, but the last time I was there I tried to order a beer only to have two selections in a row be "out." Why they don't do what EVERY OTHER ESTABLISHMENT does when a beer is out (i.e. put a cup or something else on the tap handle to I know to not bother asking)? Even the waitress wasn't aware of which ones were out with any certainty. Service: The waitress was nice, and pretty cute too, but it was hard to find her some times. If you've read my profile, you'll know that I am a "Blazing Wings" challenge winner from Buffalo Wild Wings. Their Blazing sauce is very, very hot. I can take six of them on a regular basis, but not without tears streaming down my eyes. A word to the wise: Don't try these unless you can already feel none worse for wear after downing a good heap of habanero hot sauce. Overall, this place meets my expectationis each time, so it has become a go-to place for me whenever I want to watch a game with friends, or whenever the wife is out doing something with "the ladies!" The draft beers speak for themselves, with over 30 kinds, many of which vary with the season. The menu, while reasonably diverse, is definitely bent on the side of appetizers and bar-type eats. I do enjoy the wings, and favor the Blazing, Thai Curry or Mango Habanero sauce. They also have a selection of dry seasonings they can toss them in. The Garlic-fried mushrooms are good, but seem to have shrunken in size sine our last visit. The burgers are what is called "Pub burgers." Those in the industry know what I am talking about...suffice to say you will never have to worry about a burger being cooked too rare, if you get my drift. Still, they were not dry or over-done. On our last trip, my wife had the Buffalitos, which are their take on chicken tacos, with lettuce, creamy sauce and pico de gallo. Her one complaint is that the wrap which held these sumptuous ingredients was frail, falling apart in her hands as she ate. If your stomach has room, DO try the Dessert Nachos. This is a full-plate concoction, with a full size fried wheat tortilla, topped with four scoops of ice cream, accompanied by a nice handful of mini fried cheesecake bites...the whole thing drizzled with cocloate and caramel sauce. The interesting thing is that a commercial for BWW came on at the precise time we began to dig in, and they had a pic of the Dessert nachos....it looked exactly like ours. Good job! The main thing that prevents BWW from a fourth star is the service lapses, mwhich, even though somewhat expected, still deter from the full experience. It peeves me to have our main courses arive before the appetizers. Still, the manager came by was apologetic, and everything else went well after that. Visited on a Saturday night and the place was quite busy, I recommend sitting in the bar area and check the drink specials. I ordered wings with the jerk sauce on the side. My wings were fried perfectly, probably because they were dry. My friends wings, not so much. I recommend getting dry wings and asking for the sauce on the side. Too noisy, very slow service - wait forever for the food For a sports-like restaurant/bar one would expect the food to be served quickly- There are plenty of sports events to watch on the numerous large flat screen televisions mounted around the entire dining room. Go with your gut, there is a good reason why this BWW has a 2.5 overall review: Upside: Many TV to watch the fights, football, etc. Downside: No surround sound, best I can tell, the speakers are in the center of the restaurant. Extremely disappointed with quality of food, it was so dry that it was hard even to eat bits and pieces of the bone in wings. The question is, are they serving us day old food? We bought 2 orders of the bone in wings and I would say not worth a dime and we paid over $35., for our meals to take home. Funny. I'm not a fan of chicken wings, despite being a fan of almost any other part of a chicken I can fry up and put in my mouth. Still, when you are eating food at a restaurant known for a certain edible commodity, you've got to put that chicken in your mouth regardless! The wings I had, with their parmesan garlic sauce, were filling. I got eight and was ready to burst after just five! I was awestruck...then realized that I have come accustomed to NYC prices. *hmmmmm* Lots of televisions with lots of sports programs. Plenty of seating in both the dining and bar areas. Lots of typical North Central Connecticut guys with their Tap Out t-shirts, Red Sox caps, Bud Light bottles, and shot glasses, sitting next to their North Central Connecticut girlfriends with their fake nails, bleached stick-straight hair, Blackberries, and increasingly bored facial expressions. We have always loved coming to bww, though lately it has been less than stellar. Tonight ordering their garlic mushrooms it seemed like we got a partial order, far less than normal. Typical BW3, nothing to special. The waitress was fun and friendly and went out of her way for our table. We asked for a special order and she made it happen. The manager had to run to the grocery store to get cucumbers for our vegetable plate. Overall it was a good experience, the boneless wings were ok, nothing special. I became a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings when I visited one near Orlando, FL. On my up to Vermont, I saw a Buffalo Wild Wings just off Exit 38 on the I-91. So on our return trip home we decided to drop by. Seating was pretty spacious, with a huge dining room area (20-25 tables). Just beyond that was the bar area, with bar seats, high tables, and booth tables. Ordinary Buffalo Wild Wings, but on steroids. In both the bar area and dining room area, there were LCD's galore. The walls were just covered with dozens of TV's showing every possible sports game. Huge thumbs up!! Every seat was a good seat in here. For our party of 4, we ordered 50 wings ($35.00) with up to a selection of 5 different flavors, as well as an order of a basket of Onion Rings. We decided to go for 10 of each: Honey BBQ, Asian Zing, Caribbean Jerk, Mango Habanero, and Blazin'. It took about 10 minutes before our food was served. All the wings were delicious, crispy skin, tender meat inside, and a good amount of sauce on the outside. My favorites in order: 1) Asian Zing which had a perfect blend of saltiness from the soy and ginger, and some subtle heat from the chili pepper. 2) Mango Habanero - the sweetness of the mango complimented so well with the heat from the habanero. This is definitely not as hot as an habanero pepper, for those curious. 3) Caribbean Jerk - moderate caribbean spices with a hint of heat from the red pepper. Tasty yet fairly simple, almost a bit boring. 4) Honey BBQ - standard-fare honey bbq sauce. I found the sauce to be a little too thick and overdosed on the wings. Could have been balanced more with either a thinner sauce or less bbq sauce. 5) Blazin - Oh boy! Keep these babies away. The first bite tastes slightly smoky, and then slowly the burn starts to build up in your mouth until its almost unbearable. I'm an avid spice lover, as well as one of my other friends, and we both had trouble eating this. It had so much heat, that it didn't really have any other flavor. Be prepared to have some celery sticks and blue cheese on the side to douse down the heat on this bad boy. Service was great as our waitress was very warm and polite. She made it a point to come over several times throughout our meal for refills, napkins, etc. This Buffalo Wild Wings was definitely one of the better establishments. Wings were fairly standard as compared to the other locations but what really made this one stand out was the ambiance and great service. read more

It's ok. My biggest complaint is that if you're gonna call a place Buffalo Wild Wings, then you better have some damn good wings... but they dont. Their wings taste like they came from the frozen food section at Price Choppers. And they're tiny as hell. Their other entrees are ok (burgers, wraps, etc), however I HATE that all the food comes in this cardboard folding tray and not on a PLATE?? (I'm a grown man, not a child) And this is a restaurant, not a cook-out... However, the service is pretty good. The beer selection is excellent. And the TV's are great. Where we are from you don't pay extra for sauces or celery or blue cheese. Here you do. The food was ok. Soda was good. One burger good other burger good for the kids. Not used to paying extra for so many things we get at home for free normally. Kids were split 50/50 on the dessert. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. I went to one of my coworkers farewell party and I purchased a French martini and then I purchase 2nd French martini when I got my bill I was charged $2.00 each for the martinis and then at the bottom of the bill it said 4 dollars for chambrod shots . I call the waitress over an asked her why I was being charged $4.00 for 2 shots that i didnt order she stated that the additional $4 that I was charged was for the shot of liquor that accompanied my French martini I then asked to speak with the manager because there was no explanation that would have been acceptable to me because I have never experienced being charged $2 additional on top of a martini for $7.50 I guess this is what you experience when you go to Buffalo Wild Wing so take this as a noted information don't drink their drink at a real bar before you go there to eat some damn wings read more

Oh Buffalo Wild Wings, how I love thee. Yelp should have a wing category. After a fun 3 hour bus ride to Connecticut on Thanksgiving Eve, my aunt and uncle brought me here for some delish wings. He started telling me about the place and I was like, B-Dubs? YES! I haven't been to B-Dubs since my college days and I was a regular at 25 cent wing night on Tuesdays. I haven't found decent wings in Boston and I was finally going to get my fill. BTW, the chain is also known as BW3s, based off their original name of Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck and was founded by two guys from Buffalo NY (they know a thing or two about the chicken wing). They have a variety of sauces that you can cover your little baby wings with - everything from mild, sweet BBQ, Asian Zing, Parmesan Garlic to the blazing hot flavor. Don't like buffalo wings? There's a bunch of other fare to fill your belly, from traditional bar fare such as nachos and burgers. I think they have salads on the menu as well. This particular location is very large, with a large seating area in the front and a large bar area in the back with additional seating. Not quite sure why BWW always has bad ratings, well maybe because service can be a bit slow when dining there, especially on the days they have their wings specials when it's super packed, like Tuesdays for their half off wings. I've never really had a problem with BWW, dine in or takeout. I usually just order take out now though as it's more convenient for me to pick up after work and just take home and eat. The cashiers are always friendly and upbeat. I basically only order on Tuesdays because of the deal, but I'll just add here that my favorite wing flavors are the asian zing, carribean jerk, lemon pepper and mango habanero..Bone in traditional wings FTW! read more

This is a terrible place to eat. The wings are nothing special, the wraps are mehhh, and the nachos are terrible. I can't believe they actually served us what they served us - the chips were stale and the nachos were cold. It didn't look appetizing at all but we were willing to give it a try. Terrible. They don't use real plates, they serve your food in paper bowl type things, which I don't find appealing at all because most paper, when put under food or something moist, will get soggy. B Dubbs seems less appealing every time I go. Stopped in on a Tuesday night and was surprised that wings had gone up in price to 60 cents each on Tuesdays. The food here was mediocre at best, and the service was about the same. The wings seemed to have gone downhill since my last visit. They were a little freezer burned and smothered with a ridiculous amount of sauce. The garlic parm was overly salty, and the blue cheese dressing was lower quality than my usual wing joints. I'd discourage you from getting the cheeseburger sliders, as they were lousy quality fat-laden beef that was overcooked and nastified. Place was almost empty, and the waitress only came to our table 4 times. Stick with Chicago Sams, J Timothy's or Archie Moores for your wing fix. B-Dubbs is half the place it used to be. read more

Okay - so i give 3 stars because every time I go on a Tu or Th the prices keep going up for wing night! When I used to come here on Tu for $0.50 cent wing night (bone in) - it was perfect, then it was $0.55, then it was $0.60, and most recently it's $0.65 - and they keep saying the wings get bigger, NO THEY DON'T - they are the same size if not smaller! Then on top of this during football season - NO HAPPY HOUR SPECIALS - what's up with that? Your food and drinks are so expensive, Sunday should have specials for football. Fall in line with Chilis and other chain restaurants that offer Happy Hour Specials. For that reason - I won't be back unless someone has a craving - i can get better wings and prices elsewhere. read more
