It's a good buffet to eat especially if you like Chinese food. It's always cleaned and smell fresh a good place for family and friends

Not much choices for kids, only fries. Other than that food was decent nothing unique. Just like most Chinese buffets.

Looks can be deceiving! Place outside looked questionable but inside was very pleasing to the eye. Food was tasty but lacking in a few areas such as variety. They need more toppings for salad. The tomatoes for it were missing! Mongolian barbecue should have mung bean noodles as another option. There weren't any potatoes mashed or roasted and pizza like some other Chinese buffets . Everything pretty much temperature hot except the breaded fish. Only one turn off is digging into an ice bucket for drinks! Not sanitary!!! Won't be coming back the food is good, but what's the use if it's very dusty and the tables are not wiped down well nor the napkin holder nor the walls that separate the booths. Also the plates were dirty, and where the plates sat were dirty . I went on a Sunday at 11 thinking I pay 14 dollars plus tax but since it's a Sunday they charge at 19.99, what's the point of having a different price menu if you aren't going to honor the menu! Sunday arrival 2 pm. Save yourself the time. Went based off the reviews, I don't know what the people leaving reviews are talking about. I have never been to that area of town, it's not the best area of town in case you haven't been. Place was not clean, it had a weird smell by the restrooms . Not a lot of variety for the food . Best buffet in Cholo Vista by far. Always fresh food and my group always love it. Drinks are included. The worst thing about it, is its 1 mile from my house. If it was across the street I would strap on a feed bag every other day. read more

Is it me or is it kind of hard to find some Chinese buffets like these around San Diego. At least when I was searching. I found like four similar to this one and this one is the best rated and reviewed. We came to check it out. We were hungry and definitely craving Chinese. I don't know about you but something about the new year has me always craving some Chinese food. Maybe it's in the fortune cookies. This place looks pretty clean. The staff was relatively friendly. I say relatively because everybody looked tired and annoyed. I don't blame the staff. Some of the customers were not at their best behavior not cleaning up after themselves, letting young kids make messes with out apologies or sense of courtesy. However, the staff was not rude in anyway. I don't expect them to be jumping up and down with excitement but a little smile or smirk. We asked questions they helped with what is possible and that is appreciated. Some of their sighs have good sense of humor are definitely enjoyed. The food was good lots to pick from. I always feel like there's a variety of veggies missing. I still got to chomp down on some of my favorite shrimps got some noodles and soups, all the things I cannot cook for myself. Sushi bar, hibachi grill and a dessert bar. The ice cream I don't know about the ice cream almost every single buffet I've ever been to the ice cream lacks a little bit of the richness dairy brings. I tend to stay away from buffets, because I do not like exposed food, such as what you see in the deli cases at grocery stores. I took a chance and loved the experience. I have been back twice. I am bringing my family of 10 who are flying in next month. Some of them were concerned about going to a buffet, but I feel completely confident that they will have a great experience. The Mongolian barbecue area is perfect if you want to ensure you get very fresh vegetables and meat prepared your way. The place is packed with over 300 people and that is one of the reasons the food is so fresh. It turns over every few minutes no matter what station you go to. Love those chicken wings and sushi bar. Not a lot of options compared to what I like but still good. Everything tastes fresh. The inside is bright and clean great ambiance and enough parking outside. They don't have a lot of servers so you get most of the utensils and drink's yourself. Will recommend and the price is great. read more

On the hibachi they need more spices so it can have more flavor the wait is ok they have enough sitting

Dinner at the buffet on Wednesday and I was surprised when the variety they have very nice and planned place very family oriented

My family has been to buffet house for at least 2 special occasions and we all think the new location is well worth visiting for the food and ambiance since it is new. Quality and taste is better than most other buffet places we've been to. Choices are abundant and they have a place you can have reserved for large gatherings. I definitely recommend this place. We have already brought in friends and family because that's just how good it is. read more

Your basic affordable Chinese buffet, salads, sushi, soups, rice and noodles station (impressive but not good) the buffet includes a drink so it's pretty affordable at 18$ for lunch Mon-Thur and Friday dinner and weekend is 22$ with drink is good with their selection of seafood, shrimp, crab Rangoon, crab cakes. was surprised by how good this buffet was! came for a family party and wasn't expecting much especially from the outside but all the food was so flavorful, we really got a good deal for such great options. the parking spaces in the lot are tight though so be careful and the lot was pretty busy when I went. can't wait to go back! read more

Hello! Went and had lunch the other day. Giving 5 stars because there was nothing wrong with this place if you want a $17.00 all you can eat lunch. Place is new and everything obviously clean. Typical all you can eat Chinese-sushi house. Not that everything is so good but nothing really bad. Barbecue pork spareribs hit the spot. I think the best part is the stir fry section. All the raw meats looked very good. I loaded up on the shrimp with sliced red and green bell peppers, onions, pineapple. The stir fry dude has a Chinese pepper hot sauce so don't forget to ask for that added to your stir fry if you want some heat added to your food. The sushi kinda lame. Most trays were empty or 1/3 full and quality was lame. Fresh yes, blah and bland though. Personally, about what I expect for a typical all you can eat sushi place( and I don't expect much considering the cheap $17.00 entry fee. Will I go back ? Sure someday. Just not good enough to go back anytime soon. I wanted to try this new place out and got that out of my system. So, if all you can eat cheap Chinese sushi is your thing, go for it. i' m honestly a/an regular customer at the buffet house !!!!! i honestly enjoyed the customer service at the original location !!!! just today was very upsetting to me & my husband !!!!! the customer service from the beginning through the "cashier" was very unprofessional !!!!! then a/an few minutes later the same "employee" whom barely speaks any american english language was very rude by not assisting me when i just ask for the location of the steamed white rice !!!!! (she was standing near the soup station )the unprofessional "employee" with no customer service experience would not help me at all !!!!! then a/an few minutes later "she" started to gossiip about me to a/an another "employee" whom was hispanic which was so unprofessional!!!!! later my husband asked the bus boy employee to speak to the manager !!!!! while getting the manager "he" started to gossip also to the rudely-untrained "cashier" employee !!!!! eventually my husband & i spoked to the manager and explained the entire situation which was uncalled for !!!!! hopefully the rude service from the "cashier" gets fixed so "she" gets the proper education-training on doing "her" job accurately !!!! along with the the "employees" whom gossip about paying customers stop gossiping and get diciplined by getting a/an verbal warning or "they" get written-up for "their" unmaturely actions !!!!! read more
