Plenty options: sushi, Mac n cheese, pizza, Mongolian noodles, orange chicken, salad and a huge variety of desserts.. pies, cakes, pudding, ice cream, strudel.. This location is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Very accessible. And the dining hall is big with plenty of booths. Service is great; they clean up your plates quick and the staff are friendly.

For $15 for lunch it's a steal. Is it high end, no. Closer to a low end Souplantation (god I miss you!) but there's definitely something for everyone and with the right expectations you'll leave satisfied. Desserts and Mongolian Grill were the highlights.

I was so happy when I found this buffet restaurant. After the pandemic there's not many buffets out here in San Diego. This has been my go to for the past year since I discovered it. The food is good, lots of variety, I really like their wok station it's my favorite! The price is great. Seniors get discounts, my parents are regulars there. They also provide you with a card to stamp your visits and you get a free visit to the buffet after your 10th purchase. Who does that! They're great! You gotta try this place.

Food is disgusting and cold, I would say the only good thing was the pizza lol and that tasted gross, the food is just sitting in warmers it crusts over

Continuing our quest for buffet places in San Diego, we stopped by Paradise Buffet for dinner. Taking the good and bad, I felt our experience was average at best. The pros: - lots of different foos options: sushi, hot Asian foods, hot American foods, make your own stir fry noodles, a variety of desserts, soups, salads, and even a kid section with mac and cheese, pizza, corn, and garlic bread. - plenty of seats and we got seated immediately upon arrival at 7pm - food was being replenished throughout our visit - reasonable price for a buffet at $20 per person for dinner The cons: - the ambiance is depressing. It's dark and dim inside. - lack of customer service. Nobody greets you, workers do not engage when taking your plates away, and when you ask questions it seems like you're bothering them - the food was bland and uninspiring. It's edible but not something you would crave or go for another round - it's located in a very large and busy complex so keep in mind there's traffic coming in - soda machine lacked enough carbonation so the drinks were flat Not sure about this place yet. May need to try it again...

Affordable and family friendly Asian buffet for the whole family. In this economy, what more can you ask for? First off the food is okay. It's not the best but it does the trick to feed something for everyone. The reason for the good review is the hot and fresh Mongolian grill and sushi bar! Don't forget to tip them! The prices are already so low! Not to mention the fresh cotton candy for the kids. What else can you eat here? Sushi, desserts, and hot Asian food. Self serve food and drinks (extra price) ready for you and your family. Tip: Early bird special for seniors daily. See pricing

Bunk food don't come here save your money

food was trash. Fried rice undercooked still grainy Noodle super salty. Shrimp raw. I'm not being dramatic I ate a lil of everything and honestly won't be coming here again. Came because they had good reviews lol whoever eats here must not like great food. Don't come here save your money !!!!

When I arrived, the restaurant was packed. I had to check in and take a number, but they managed to seat us in under 10 minutes. If you're not into crowds, I would definitely avoid Sunday's. My usual visits are during the weekdays when they open first thing for lunch. You get first pick of the buffet offerings and it's much more enjoyable without the crowd. Disclaimer: Had I not been part of a large gathering that was coming here, I doubt I ever would have come to this buffet. Pros: They had the World Cup playing on a "2017 New" 36ish inch TV with the tags still on it The food was mostly hot The cream cheese wontons were delicious, creamy, and crispy Cons: I tried like 11 items, and only the cream cheese wontons were hittin'. Out of the 11 items I tried, only 3-4 items were passable as decent The food was salty The black pepper chicken tasted like fish The food ended up giving my bubble guts the bubble guts-SHEESH! While there were loads of offerings, which I appreciate, the organization of said offerings were a bit strange. The hibachi was set-up going left to right, while the food stations on either side of it were going right to left, creating this crazy clash of people heading in opposite directions. It just wasn't for me.

The other bowls are good too but this one is my fav. If you have a big appetite like me get the Pork Belly little sandwiches, it's a perfect side with your Ramen Bowl. Miso soup & wings were ok. Now it can get busy at times especially dinner so there might be a wait & parking ain't the best. But it's still worth the wait just come before 6 if you don't want to wait too long. I am actually shook that the prices stayed the same after 10 years, inflation who is she?! And the drinks looked yummy and was affordable too. I would say that the quality of the Ramen isn't as good as I remembered. Back then the oxtail dumplings and the beef in the Belly of the Beast was so delicious and tender. This time it seemed like it wasn't as good, but maybe my taste has changed after 10 years. I actually also really love the ambience and thought that the vibes were on point with the nice upscale bar-like atmosphere... without needing to drink. Our noodles were definitely overcooked, and way too mushy for me. They were kind enough to remake my bowl for me with the noodles being more al dente and it was much better! But likely not coming back because there are better ramen options around (I.e. the long line one in UTC - the only ramen restaurant my husband will go to).

They also let us know the karma lounge which is like the sister establishment next door is available if we wanted servers to take orders with same menu options. Food 4/5 -Dynamite shrimp roll, California roll topped with fried prawn covered in spicy mayo and eel sauce. Very impressed by the huge prawns and overall roll size, good quality sushi. -House shrimp fried rice, rice had a good level of oily sheen to it, savory and fragrant but not overly salty. Shrimp was bouncy and fresh but not particularly seasoned. Overall, a good fried rice that makes me want to keep eating it. -Beef chow fun, my least favorite of the three but it's decent. Green pepper is not usually added in this dish and I think it made the dish less harmonious. Noodles were on the oily side and not so much of the flame/wok flavor that should be in this dish. Beef is tender and good though. Ambiance 5/5 -Nice, modern and Asian inspired decor. Comfortable seating and overall calm ambiance, good dining space.

We were seated quickly in a nice booth & we ordered from Wing who was attentive and efficient. We ordered fried rice with veggies & the double delight with chicken & shrimp (spicy, honey, sesame). Our entrees were brought to us about 5 minutes after we ordered & that might be a record. The portions were plenty for us to share & we took home the little container of plain rice they gave to us. The chicken & shrimp were good, pretty mild (we asked for medium spice). The fried rice was quite pricey at $18.95 (the same as it was a year ago), and it was dry and pretty bland. They didn't give us chopsticks and that's the first time I've ever been to an Asian restaurant and I didn't use them. Interesting. The restaurant continues to be attractive inside. It is spacious and comfortable. However, since our food came out fast & we were hungry, we finished our meal in about 25 minutes. Both Wing and the ladies who seated us commented on how quickly we finished our meal which I kind of thought was unnecessary. Are you complaining b/c we ate, left a nice tip, and now you can turn over this booth again tonight? We just ordered rice & chicken/shrimp ... it wasn't a buffet. Sheesh, can you tell I'm a little sensitive about this? Anyway, it was an okay visit. Not sure when I'll be back. Peace.
