Food is disgusting and cold, I would say the only good thing was the pizza lol and that tasted gross, the food is just sitting in warmers it crusts over

I was so happy when I found this buffet restaurant. After the pandemic there's not many buffets out here in San Diego. This has been my go to for the past year since I discovered it. The food is good, lots of variety, I really like their wok station it's my favorite! The price is great. Seniors get discounts, my parents are regulars there. They also provide you with a card to stamp your visits and you get a free visit to the buffet after your 10th purchase. Who does that! They're great! You gotta try this place.

Continuing our quest for buffet places in San Diego, we stopped by Paradise Buffet for dinner. Taking the good and bad, I felt our experience was average at best. The pros: - lots of different foos options: sushi, hot Asian foods, hot American foods, make your own stir fry noodles, a variety of desserts, soups, salads, and even a kid section with mac and cheese, pizza, corn, and garlic bread. - plenty of seats and we got seated immediately upon arrival at 7pm - food was being replenished throughout our visit - reasonable price for a buffet at $20 per person for dinner The cons: - the ambiance is depressing. It's dark and dim inside. - lack of customer service. Nobody greets you, workers do not engage when taking your plates away, and when you ask questions it seems like you're bothering them - the food was bland and uninspiring. It's edible but not something you would crave or go for another round - it's located in a very large and busy complex so keep in mind there's traffic coming in - soda machine lacked enough carbonation so the drinks were flat Not sure about this place yet. May need to try it again...

Affordable and family friendly Asian buffet for the whole family. In this economy, what more can you ask for? First off the food is okay. It's not the best but it does the trick to feed something for everyone. The reason for the good review is the hot and fresh Mongolian grill and sushi bar! Don't forget to tip them! The prices are already so low! Not to mention the fresh cotton candy for the kids. What else can you eat here? Sushi, desserts, and hot Asian food. Self serve food and drinks (extra price) ready for you and your family. Tip: Early bird special for seniors daily. See pricing

Bunk food don't come here save your money

Verry good food and desserts and shrimp! I can not put into word how great the food and customer service is at this restaurant! All the need is old fashion hard ice cream would make them perfect! Greate people! Best stir ever!

But every once in a while, hubby has a special request & we make it happen. His San Diego wish? Thursday night all-you-can-eat lobster dinner at 100s Seafood Grill Buffet. And when I say seafood extravaganza, I mean it. Beyond the lobster, there were crab legs, oysters, sushi galore (maki, nigiri & sashimi), lots of Asian specialties plus plenty of American comfort-food favorites to satisfy just about everyone. Now, full disclosure: my feelings were a little mixed, but hubby? He was living his absolute best life. The lobster is served cut in half & broiled, which unfortunately made the meat sort of melt into the shell. Each half ended up being only a couple bites & you did have to wait in line to grab one when fresh trays came out (one half per person at a time). That said, credit where it is due: the kitchen brought out lobster trays pretty regularly, so the wait never felt unreasonable. Meanwhile, hubby proceeded to eat what I can only describe as his body weight in crab legs. His only critique was that he prefers them served hot rather than cold, although the hot butter on draft definitely helped make up for that. I also appreciated how many unique dishes were available beyond seafood, making the buffet feel more interesting than your standard steam-table experience. And for me, the dessert section was a standout, especially the gelato station, which I may or may not have visited more than once. At $56.99, my personal preference would probably be to spend that money at a really good sushi restaurant. But if your dream scenario involves unlimited lobster, crab legs, oysters & a seafood feast where you can try a little bit of everything, this place absolutely delivers. Final verdict? Maybe not my personal seafood fantasy but hubby was THRILLED & sometimes that's the most important review of all. NOM NOM NOM #YUM

You find a local joint with a happy hour and good food. 3. You don't expect excellence. I came here tonight with that in mind and got more than I hoped for. $1.50 oysters anywhere are great and these were a joy. While the menu suggested small or medium they were bigger, flavorful and fresh west coasts you'd pay triple for. Discounted California wines didn't hurt either. Then there was poorly described "herbed gnocchi in cheese sauce with bread crumbs". The author of the menu should be disciplined. This is the equivalent of describing the Sistine Chapel as "colored painting on wall, some nudes". This dish was so much more than that. Sliced Serrano peppers and greens topped off one of the best gnocchi dishes i may have ever had stateside or in Italy. Really. Rewrite that. Consider starting with the statement "this small dish may sexually arouse you". All for a happy hour in desperation of a good nights sleep, red-eyed rise and a longing to return. Then there's the service. Eduardo. Perfectly responsive, friendly as all get out and whatever his base salary is he deserves more. But maybe the place is dirty. Or boring. Or not worth looking at. Nope. From the nautical decor to the California topography inspired floor plan to the darn view of sail ships and helicopters. It's a sight to behold. But it's not all happy. Upon leaving I noticed the tribute wall. The genius who started this treasure DIED 2 years after opening it. Managed by his family. The whole experience started with a need, continued to a surprising joy and ended in sadness. I hope he knew what a joy he built and what a joy it is today.

There are two separate sides of the restaurant and various self serve counters. In the self serve counters there are some warm foods, salads and sides, hot pot veggies and add ins, and some ice cream. I was a little disappointed there were no radishes. The waiter said they stopped stocking the radishes because they were loosing too much money on them. The kbbq alone was $40 ayce which is on the higher priced side. To me the meat quality was a little better but I don't know if it was that much better than other $30-35 kbbqs. They advertise a lot of the meats as Wagyu but they're not the best Wagyu quality. The sides you can order are pretty good. They have a variety of karaage that are crispy and delicious and they also have corn cheese that can be melted on the grill. The ice cream at the end is the cherry on top. Based on the price and food, I would give this place 3.5 stars. But the service was really good so I'm giving it an extra half star for that. Our server was super nice and personable. He made sure we were doing okay throughout the night. The other servers also came by to check on us and once near the end of the night we got a really fatty plate of brisket and he swapped it out for a less fatty cut which I've never experienced at a kbbq place. I don't know if I'll come back to this kbbq but it was a nice dinner with some friends and great service.

As a vegetarian, I rave about their incredible sides, hot ono steam rice, but the real showstopper for meat eaters, I was told by my meat-eating friend David, is their top-notch meat - specifically, the Black grade Snake River Farms (SRF) Wagyu beef! SRF is a pioneer in American Wagyu, blending Japanese Wagyu genetics with American cattle to achieve the perfect balance of rich marbling and bold flavor.
