When I eat chinese buffet, I expect the rice and lo mein noodles to be good. These items here are terrible. It goes downhill from here. All of the entrees taste basically the same. The Mongolian bbq hot wok stirfry is too salty to taste your ingredients. The salad consists of iceberg lettuce and Italian dressing. But, you get full. I have eaten here three times. The person who greeted us at the booth where you tell them how many people are in your party looked as if we were bothering him. That should have been our first indication this was not a great place to eat. The food was TERRIBLE and when we asked if they had spicy mayo and brown sauce to help drowned out the taste of the food, the same guy who greeted us looked at us and acted like he had no idea of what we were talking about. Stay away and I mean far away from here. There are roaches constantly, cross contamination of meats that have been left out. They soak they tea kettles and cups in bleach/vinegar depending on who's on duty. Those spouts where huh get your drinks were so moldy it made me sick to see. I would have given 5 stars for this buffet before. But after the reopening the crab legs are no longer so that's why I'm giving it a three. If your not interested in crab legs then on Friday and Saturday nights I would give it 5 stars. There is a very good variety of wonderful food including a habachi grill and a sushi bar. read more

Oh chinese buffets. Where true asians try to avoid bc we all know it's the wannabe chinese food. Obviously there's lots of options, especially meat options. While the food reminds me of panda express which btw I never go to, it's not terrible. The food doesn't taste too oily so I'm ok with coming here. If you're craving some American chinese food, this isn't bad at all. I did manage to find a favorite there which was their tempura (fried) sushi rolls. There's something about warm rice rolls that I love, like fresh made kimbap. Yum. But yeah, there's bound to be something everyone likes so it's a good middle ground to meet with your picky friends and family for a meal. As for service, plates were cleared and drinks were refilled constantly. For 2 adults during lunch was $20 with a drink. It's a very convenient and fast option for lunch! Wow! This place is awesome! My husband loves Chinese food and sushi, but I'm not really a fan. This is the best compromise that we have found. They have a nice selection of chicken and such for the picky while having Chinese food and sushi. On Friday and Saturday nights, they have crab legs added to the buffet. The chicken-on-a-stick and spare ribs are to die for! All of the food is amazing. My only complaint is that they don't have a large enough dessert selection, but by the time I get to dessert, I'm stuffed from all the other yummy food anyway! We have eaten at the Grand Buffet Palace on I-30 in Greenville, TX for several years and really enjoy their variety of foods. However, lately, they have begun showing violent movies on some of their televisions that are inappropriate for families and children. One day, I almost fell ill seeing the shooting, bloody scenes, and dead bodies from one of the movies showing on a TV near our table. As a doctor, I know that with all of the school, mall, and other shootings actually occurring in today's society, it would be much more appropriate to have the televisions showing sports events, cooking programs, and/or educational television programs for families and children to view while eating their meal rather than more violent programming. This place is my shit! I've gone here at least once a month for the past 3 years or so. It's never disappointing and easily the best Chinese buffet I've been to. They get busy during the weekend at the evening of course but there's always plenty of places to sit and they're always keeping the food coming. Staff is super friendly too. I had a Mate basket today. The shrimp was greasy, I took a paper towel and removed what I could. I have my husband one piece of my shrimp, since I was not able to finish.
