Best Sushi in Collin Co... Great service and food... Ask for Ling Ling... she's the greatest!

I usually don't write bad reviews, but I was really frustrated today. I'm a non-sushi eater, but I tag along with my family while they enjoy. I do, however, LOVE hibachi. I ordered my normal tonight just to be told they no longer do ginger sauce. If you do hibachi, you have ginger. Period. I'm not trying to be too much, but that is like saying you are having fries on the menu but did away with ketchup. read more

Moved to Collin County earlier this year, settled in the Princeton area. I'm not a big Japanese food guy, but this place did change my mind. The sushi was awesome, just have to say that. I'm impressed, but not only that, the filet mignon was some of the best I've had in Texas, so that's saying something. Solid service, and good vibes are important, this place meets the mark. Our server Lexi was great. She seemed to be serving most of the restaurant herself. The spicy garlic edamame is a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The Ahi Tower was delicious. All of the food was great. I didn't have a cocktail but they have an extensive drink menu. The noise level was moderate with being able to talk comfortably. Always go atleast 15 mins late to pickup if you ordered online. Never expect food on time.

We love Tokyo House! They are very quick to get us seated and the staff is always friendly. Their sushi is very good. I also recommend the gyoza and their seasonal deserts. Husband & I went for my birthday, was feeling sushi & had been wanting to try this place for a while. Truly did not disappoint, our server was super nice, gave us recommendations for food & even helped us open the Japanese soda we couldn't figure out. Food was insane, I got a classic roll & a signature roll. Both amazing in flavors. My husband got a hibachi dinner entree, steak and shrimp. Bruce and his team do a great job! The hostesses and carry out team are so nice and I think they always get our order right. The lunch deals are the best very affordable and always fresh. 3 sushi rolls for $14 at lunch is an amazing deal during these times! My kids love it. interior is so clean and cute and comfortable. plenty of seats/space. staff was super friendly and checked up on us very often. we went during lunch and the food portions were PLENTY with decent prices. we ordered the shrimp tempura bento and 2 of the choose-3-rolls combo. they all tasted amazing! the tempura here is probs our favourite in DFW. 10/10 would go back again read more

Ok well, the one star isn't because of the food. It is for the pitiful behavior of the front desk greeter *Paige* who is a terrible person and should not be there greeting people - her behavior is appalling at best and needs to be removed. I was not expecting this to be good but it really was. Tempora shrimp was stove hot crispy on the outside perfectly cooking the inside. Cucumber salad was refreshing (I had them remove the imitation crab first). Seared ahi tuna seasoned perfectly. Signature sushi roll was good but not my favorite. I was a fan of this place until last night when I ordered and the order was completely wrong. The owner Bruce only wanted to refund me 3 dollars and change. That was so disgusting of him to even say that. He had no empathy for the situation at all. He truly lost customers because I cannot use them again after this situation. I walked in to order at Tokyo House last Friday. I went in to order because I had some questions and needed clarification on a couple of items on the menu. My order came to $34 and some change and there was two highway patrol officers that were right before me so I placed my order and they told me if they would call me once it was ready so I ended up walking my dog around for around 10 to 15 minutes. No phone call sat in the car for another 10 minutes and when I walked in the hope show officers are leaving and there's a basket behind the counter where they placed orders to be picked up and/or possibly to be delivered. I never received a call from them and of course by the time I got home $34 later I called up there and asked for the manger being a disabled veteran the government doesn't pay that much for your service in the military so I have to watch my money so I called up there and told them the situation very rude of course with an attitude and he just said OK and after a bit of silence, he said OK have a good night not even trying to make it right after explaining the situation. These days Customer Service is nonexistent and the customer is never right and he did eventually say he would refund my order, but he told me I could never go back to Tokyo house because I demand good quality of food more than that service which was nonexistent they didn't care never got a phone call like I stated and got an attitude when talking to the manager, and apparently they don't care about the Customer Service or the fact that they failed to do what they told me they would do and I'm only as good as what I have been told like I said the customer used to be always right, but not these days and if though the food is really good there, they know they you have to look at the Customer Service and ambience was not right and I shouldn't feel inferior to going to a place after I got home and my food was cold. I'm only as good as what I am told and they violated that through and through and you know people out there that may have been in the military in the way we were treated over there, Iraq or any action for that matter this is not, but want anyone should have to go through paying that much money for cold food because they basically lied to me. This is just my opinion. I'm not here at Battle with anybody, but I'm just saying what Wright is right and what's wrong wrong and I don't care how good the food is. I'll never be back. read more

This restaurant has a great personality. When you're inside, it's hard to imagine that you're in Princeton off of 380. There are many regulars that visit, some that just sit at the bar for cocktails. The servers are all friendly as well as the kitchen staff, as expected in a small town. The menu has many options for rolls, however they do not come with ginger or wasabi. You have to special order those at a small cost. I've been there twice. I first tried the Princeton Roll and then the Shrimp Crunch Roll. They are both just okay. The shrimp roll had too much cream cheese making it off balanced. The Princeton Roll is very one note, but filling. I love a good side of veggie fried rice, but unfortunately theirs is nothing to write home about. I did enjoy the hot sake and fried gyoza. The broth served with the gyoza is packed full of hearty flavor. read more

For little ole Princeton I was impressed! They aren't super authentic (come on it s Princeton) but the service is wonderful and they cater to the crowd. When you walk in they have forks on the table instead of chopsticks. You have to request chopsticks. The food was good! It's Americanized but honestly I'm impressed for the location.
