We absolutely LOVE our fully remodeled kitchen and dining room! Alex and the guys at Build 4 You made my reno dreams come true - not just because both rooms look even better than I originally imagined... but mostly because they estimated the work would be done in 6 weeks, AND IT WAS DONE IN 6 WEEKS!!! Unheard of, and so worth the money and brief hassle of living in a house while it's being remodeled. The whole crew was trustworthy and the team did a phenomenal job! I will be using them again as soon as I can afford to remodel the bathroom. :)

Avi came to meet us and, just like the first time, he was full of great ideas and helped us design a kitchen that not only looks amazing but also saved us quite a bit on costs. Once again, we're very happy with the experience and highly recommend working with Avi and US Home Developers. Professional, creative, and truly customer-focused.

Working with this company was a two-year nightmare I never thought I would wake up from. The CSLB…read morehad to get involved and brought in multiple experts, who found that 11 out of 12 parts of their work failed to meet basic industry standards. Only after a 1.5 years long fight were we finally reimbursed to fix the mess they left behind. Here's what we dealt with: * They changed the design of our roof without permission, not only that it looked terrible (photos for reference), but it also leaked. * The floors they installed are extremely uneven - in some spots over an inch off. * Drywall was so poorly done that you can see the tape lines through the paint. * They destroyed a perfectly good sliding door that was supposed to be preserved (and was in the contract). * Used second-hand roof shingles full of holes. * Demolished a wall in the presence of my family and my newborn, without any dust barrier to protect the rest of the house * Flooded our home twice, which flooded our flooring (that they never replaced) and destroyed the ceiling drywall (and tried to cover with paint) * When they tried to cover the roof from leaking, they left sandbags on the roof, which eventually melted into one giant block of sand on the roof edge, creating a safety hazard for kids. When we asked them to come remove them, because it could literally kill our kids, they refused. God forbid you question the quality of their work - they will tell you you're asking for free stuff, they will call you racist, they will call you all sorts of names and insults. The owner Jeff (whose real name is not Jeff, but Meir instead), would call my husband in attempts to strike deals, but then when he communicated with me, he would remove my husband from copy of the emails. Extremely unpleasant, disgusting human being, who clearly thinks he can intimidate women It took two years of stress, intimidation, and fighting, but CSLB finally forced them to pay for repairs or lose their license, which I am extremely grateful for. We were awarded just short of ~$16k, so that should serve you as a guide on how bad things actually are. This review doesn't cover 5% of the experience we have had, possibly the worst decision we have ever made in our life. They weren't the cheapest, supposedly very reputable, but absolutely atrocious experience - most of the work they subcontracted to third party that possibly gave them the cheapest price, and it shows. Save yourself the nightmare - do not hire this company, ever.

From the beginning Ronnie was very professional and excellent at keeping communication with us (that's very important to me). She came to our home, listened to our ideas and gave us a free estimate for her service. I'm so happy that we decided to work with her because she delivered with excellence everything that was laid out in our contract. She also gave us really good tips in the design part and guided us through the entire process of getting the permits. I cannot recommend her enough for any kind of architectural/design project, Ronnie is really good at what she does.

We contracted Ronnie to design our master bedroom addition (500 sq. ft.) and garage ADU conversion (480 sq. ft.). From the first moment we contracted Ronnie, she sprung into action. She put together a very thorough proposal, and began working on our plans that same weekend! During the design phase, Ronnie was in constant communication and always valued our feedback. She also went above and beyond to fix or change things as needed - she wasn't satisfied until we were satisfied with the design/plan. Ronnie's eye for design and creativity really are unparalleled! Once all of our design/renderings were completed, Amorphous Studios took care of all of the engineering plans and permit submittals. We are first time homeowners who are navigating our first renovation/big construction project, so having Amorphous Studios by our side to answer all of our questions and explain the process really helped ease our concerns about taking on major construction. We're looking forward to continue to work with Amorphous Studios in the next stage of our addition/ADU work. Thank you!

Creative Innovation was consulted to do a whole house remodel. From start to finish, they were amazing to deal with. Everything is legit and every single person we dealt with was trustworthy. Thats something hard to find. Every hidden issue we found, they worked with us and were very accommodating. They also have an amazing network of vendors to get what we needed. Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

We contacted Victor at City Builders on Yelp based on excellent reviews before giving up and Moses came out for the estimate. Instead of trying to sell us something overly expensive for what we thought we wanted, he took the time to show us several indoor options to create an indoor laundry area at a fraction of the cost. We were so enthused at having room left in our budget that we expanded the project to convert our older electric cooktop to a new gas cooktop. We had a quote in hand the next day, and he was able to start work the following week. All the new water and gas lines, appliance installations, drywall work and touch up were done faster than expected. The finished work is amazing, and we were extremely impressed. We know picking the right contractor is difficult, and there's a lot on the line. What they delivered was unsafe, defective work and months of stress. After the job was completed, I had two independent licensed gate and fence professionals inspect the installation. Both found serious safety and code violations. The gate-operator entrapment safety device was bypassed and left sitting under the operator instead of being installed properly. The pedestrian gate near my pool was not self-closing or self-latching as required by California law -- leaving me exposed to serious liability and potential injury to anyone on my property. On top of the safety issues, the fence and gate assembly were fabricated about a foot too short, leaving large gaps under several panels that a person can crawl under. Instead of correcting the mistake, City Builders added "patch" pieces to hide it. Welds were missing or only tacked in multiple spots, posts were visibly extended with seams, and the gate operator was anchored with undersized hardware with exposed wiring pushed into the dirt. I sent City Builders detailed defect reports and photos -- including the findings from both independent inspectors. Rather than owning the problems and presenting a clear remediation plan, they dismissed my concerns as an "inflated scope," made partial repair attempts that made some things worse, and walked away leaving me to cover the cost of proper repairs. I have filed a formal complaint with the Contractors State License Board with full documentation. If you care about safety, code compliance, and accountability, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.
