DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE WITH THESE PEOPLE or you may not see it for months, have it misdiagnosed, AND overpay. I drove my truck in and had to tow it out. After keeping my Dodge Ram for 7 weeks, and paying $1000 for a rental, they told me my truck needed a new computer (it was obvious this was not the problem). I knew they were stringing me along, so I felt I had to take matters into my own hands. I saw my truck was out front and I had to have it towed from their lot because they refused to communicate with me. I then took my truck to J&S Diesel who said it was an easy fix. It was in and out in 6 days. They said most of their work was undoing bullseye's mistakes. I wish this was the end of the story. Once I was driving it, my front wheel came off, which broke off all the studs for the lug nuts and damaged my rim. Bullseye was so incompetent they didn't tighten my lug nuts! It cost $400 to fix. My truck is working perfectly now (yay!). They were petty enough after this to send a bill, and then pursue mediation when I wouldn't pay it. I ended up paying half of their sham invoice for work they can't prove was done/caused further harm. I just wanted them to get out of my life! Had bad experience paid for a service to inspect a car before I bought it and the workers talked the seller out of selling the car, unreal the inspection I paid for. They blew the deal then seller of car didnt want to sell it. The right thing to do was to inspect it and call me directly. read more

I try to write fair reviews because 1 bad experience should not determine the service provided and unfortunately many on social media use it to burn companies for minor things. Bullseye has done much of my work for my company for the past couple years. They have come to my job site, got trucks in and out same day and have really shone on many occasions. As a family buisness they work very hard and are extremely passionate about their work. To them running this buisness is a passion and they spend an inordinate amount of time working to help others and in most cases they go above and beyond. In saying this I will not return and will not recommend them based on the service they give when things dont work in their favor. Over the past year I have had them work on my 7.3. My initial problem was an extreme lack of power. Matt assured me that we could fix it with a chip and turbo. I did not want to chip the truck be he explained he could add a chip and it would add power, increase mpg and would not create issues such as excessive smoke. On his advice we did this work. It ran great initially but shortly after we had problems. The truck smoked, shifted poorly and my mpg dropped down to around 11 or 12 mpg. Fast forward, I have taken the truck back many times with the promise that it would be resolved but each time nothing... finally I requested an appointment to take the truck in and either fix it or let me take it elsewhere. I dropped the truck off and a week later not a single item had been addressed. At a week and a half still nothing, not one item. I told them I really need my truck but and would be leaving town and could I please have it back when I returned. When I was out of town I called to check status but not one single phone call was answered, I sent text messages to both Matt and Mellsa and none were returned. After a few days of this I called from a different number and instantly the phone was answered by Melissa (confirming that she was screening my calls) when I returned from my trip I came in to pick up my truck and was told they had found the problem 99.9 % certain. The problem,....... a bad air filter. I picked up the truck and first thing I notice was it was completely empty. I stopped for fuel and drove across town only to have the truck stall in the middle of the 95. I got it to the side of the road and it wouldn't start but once again no response to texts and no answer to the phone. 2 hours later I was able to start it without any response. (This is after assurances that they had done test drives and it was running much much better and the problem was fixed). Finally Matt texted back and his question was "did you run out of gas?" No other response, no apology, nothing. Yesterday I went to get in the truck and it smelled like fuel really bad. After driving around and the smell getting worse I pulled over and started looking around. I found a can of starter fluid that had been left by one of their mechanics that had fallen behind the seat and leaked all over the back interior. I left a message with Matt via text but still no response. There are a few more issues such as sending my sons truck back onto the street after a brake job with tires that were horribly unsafe. (It is not their job to monitor my sons tires but I would expect that if you take off tires for a brake job and the tires are worn through the radials you would at least bring it to the customers attention.) After all of this I would still suggest that this is not the situation with all of their repairs and I still believe that they are hard working, honest people, but I am extremely disappointed that for a year they failed to resolve the issue, explore it enough to resolve a very basic issue. I am also dismayed that from the front end Mellisa would be so childish as to not even answer the phone or provide any info and be angry at me for an unresolved issue that I have paid a fair amount of money on. Part of being successful in any buisness is not only hard work but customer service and resolving problems as they arise. There is no excuse for abandoning customers (payment was never an issue. If they recommended a repair I paid without question) in the end I am sure that they will do what they are very good at and blame the problem on me being a stupid customer. (I have heard this conversation on multiple occasions when a disgruntled customer calls or walks out of their shop) My hope is that they will read this and instead of trash talking me they will realize this is not an acceptable way to treat customers or friends. (Btw, my truck still stalls when the chip is activated) My 4 star is based on past history but my experience on my personal truck and abandoning a customer really gets a 1star. Who knows, maybe if they read this they will finally call back , but somehow I doubt it. read more

Update: This is my totally factual experience with Bullseye Diesel Performance: My truck would not start and it was not a battery issue so I had it towed to Diesel Doctor which unbeknownst to me is now Bullseye Diesel Performance. They said it would take about 2 weeks to have it done because they were so busy. I said fine. After 2 weeks they hadn't touched the truck. I told them I'd need it soon. After many phone calls and text messages to Matt, really leaning on them, they finished the truck after having it for 23 days. As a side note they told me that I had unrealistic expectations of how fast the work would get done considering how busy they were. They changed the starter motor and fuse box for $797 and said it was fixed. Problem is the truck would not start again after I shut it down. I had it towed to Henderson Chevrolet after hours and Henderson Chevrolet had it fixed by 11am the next day. It turns out it was simply the ground wire to the starter motor shorting out and blowing the fuse. $400 for the repair. You can judge for yourself whether Bullseye Diesel Performance deserve more than 1 star but the facts are thus: -23 days (after much pressuring) to "fix" vehicle. -$797 spent and the vehicle still was not fixed. -Vehicle was totally fixed in less than 1 day for half the price elsewhere. I don't know how this experience warrants more than 1 star. I don't plan to pursue getting any compensation from Bullseye Diesel Performance because I did not give them the chance to rectify the situation. Why would I put myself though that all over again? I simply don't have the time to leave my truck with them for another 3 weeks. Sometimes you get burned and this is one of those times. read more

Matt and his team are extremely knowledgeable, straight forward, and has my best interest. They are not looking to sell you the most expensive product, they are there to educate and provide you a long term reliable truck. They also do performance upgrades to your liking. Finally we found a great shop that is passionate about their work and their customers. From the first day you walk in they treat you like family and really work with you in getting your truck back on the road. The team is very knowledge able and professional. They don't quit until they have found the issue and recommend only what is needed. Thats right, an honest shop that doesn't try to upsell you on crap you dont need. If I could give this outfit zero stars, I would, and they deserve it. They are rude, irresponsible, have zero customer service capacity, and don't apologize when their irresponsibility bites them in the butt. They overcharge for their underperformance in repairs, don't communicate when they can't get it right, and refuse to cooperate with insurance adjusters when your vehicle gets stolen off their lot. Their incompetence lost them their lot with a locked yard for storing vehicles they are working on. Do NOT trust these people with your vehicle or give them any business. I read the previous reviews. I know that Matt is the diesel whisperer. He found THE issue with my truck just right after discussing with him and the family there. He popped the hood, pointed it out and showed me the flaws in the 6.7 design. He still ran a diagnostic and taught me about each thing he was doing and why certain things work the way they do on my particular truck. I am a Las Vegas native that is stationed in Texas and am not used to sitting in any shop in Vegas without being tried to be upsold. He even sat me behind the counter and I saw his price for the part vs my price (which is a first for me when it comes to mechanics AND I am pretty quick with math and the prices are fair) That's the honesty that comes with this family. He even taught me about my 6.7 turbo and we talked possible business down the road with my truck and a few others for my friends soon to be fleet and no it didn't didn't involve "buy this turbo because your turbo is this way.". They even sat me down with factual evidence when recommending dodge/ford/Chevy for 1 Tons. There was never a question unanswered, no BS answers, and no pushing a specific line of product vs the other only FACTUAL data with one vs the other. Not to mention when the wrong part came in Matt explained why and his son and I found a temp method of keeping my truck driveable until my parts get in. The whole crew is cool as shit and yes, THEY ARE BUSY AS HELL which out to tell you they might know wtf they are doing there. Mechanics are awesome and move as fast as they can to get jobs done. I watched it go down personally on a fleet van with about 8 trucks already up on the lifts. Matt and his family have treated me right and my only gripe is not calling me to tell me the wrong pipe came in before I drove from Ann road all the way there. I get it sometimes things are slower than others but expectation management of professional mechanics that have been doing this longer than most "diesel" performance shops in town can take time. Crap happens unexpectedly when fixing things all the time which create longer labor hours and troubleshooting. I know this because I am active duty army and have been working in and out of helicopters for years. Sometimes you luck out with one problem and sometimes you miss stuff that leads to 5 other problems with is why I appreciated Matt going through the whole motor diagnostically and educating me while he did it. I will be bringing my truck to that family (and others) every time I come home. Also, some of these folks leaving the bad reviews are prob not mechanics and don't put the whole story in there. I don't write reviews usually but they have been and are taking care of me on my time crunch. Got nothing but appreciation for the hospitality and education I received about my truck. Matt's son is good, that youngster knows his stuff and also gives some good advice on certain things to watch out for. They even offered shops in TX to get work done if I'm not out here which goes to show you they are not cash grabbing. Prices are fair, work may take some time but Matt WILL make sure everything is right before you leave. I don't k ow where the "no test drive" comment came from because I just called about my parts and they were ON A TEST DRIVE. So you can get outta here with that comment. Brought my truck down here to get it diagnosed cause the motor was loping very oddly. To come to conclusion we ended up getting a new motor and transmission for my truck. The staff was very helpful and any questions I had answered in detail. A family owned and operated business that does anything and everything they can to make sure you leave happy!! In other words the customer service is amazing. I had no worries leaving my truck here and getting it worked on. Very straight up, very efficient. 10/10 would reccomend to everyone. Rebuilt my 6.0 thought I was being helped out but in the end I've probably paid more to get my truck running right than I spent at Bullseye Diesel. Great people and will go out if their way for customer's. I sent 3 friends to them and all 3 were disappointed. It's a shame they don't see the problem and fix it. Word of advice. Don't use them.
