I've been using Bulwark for a couple years now and they have been great. I called them because I was seeing scorpions and spiders and the natural stuff just wasn't cutting the mustard. Within one treatment the problem was solved. I'm on the monthly plan. They come out whenever I need them and they are always accommodating. Today Trevor came when I was out for an hour. He sprayed the outside of the house and then when I returned home he came back and took care of the inside of the house. Ricky does a great job! He remembers from treatment to treatment what my previous issues were and always asks if I have been having any problems. I have had Bulwark Exterminating since November. The first representative, Omar that came out was very attentive and took his time, and as a result the service worked almost flawlessly with us not seeing many of the spiders and other bugs that we had been seeing. Since then, every technician that has come out has been in and out in between a range of 1-5 minutes and I have been seeing very high spider activity as a result. I have called to set up repeat treatments multiple times and when they do come out(They have been known to completely miss appointments without calling, leading me to have to reschedule for a week later) they just can't seem to be bothered to actually address my problems. The man that just left my apartment sprayed a few corners for my spider problem and was out of my house in under 60 seconds. Also, his customer service and people skills lead much to be desired. I will be setting up more treatments as I'm certain I will still have the same problem, and if it continues I'll be forced to stop payment against these people and switch to another pest control company. In short, this could be a 5 star company if all of their workers took their job seriously instead of trying to make a quick buck, and acting inconvenienced having to come out multiple time. I have seen the spray work, but only when the technician took his time and took care into where and how much he was spraying. For a bit of perspective, Omar the first gentleman to come out dragged a hose through our house and completely sprayed the back balcony, front yard, and took his time indoors. Since then, every single time has been a terrible experience. I'd stick away from this company. Also, pay attention to the message here that states a lot of reviews originate from the same IP address, the very high rating leads me to believe a lot of the reviews are fake. Had I seen that before I researched this company, I may have taken my business elsewhere. I'd leave 0 stars if I could. Beware of this company. read more

I have a new home that has a field behind it so there have been various types of creepy critters (especially spiders) moving in for the past few months. I also experienced the best timed cold call ever since my daughter and I were discussing taking care of the problem when the doorbell rang. I have made only the first payment and have had to ask them to retreat twice and they have been prompt and friendly. With this heat, we are still seeing too many spiders. I am writing this review to compliment Sean on his prompt and friendly service. He was actually on a call down the street when I arrived home. I had been meaning to call for a re-treatment and upon seeing his truck, called the office. They didn't show his location and suggested that I just go down and ask if he had time to drop by. So I did. When he completed his job there he came by and did an inside and outside re-treatment at no cost. I was impressed that Bulwark would do something like this. Most places would have just said to make an appointment for another time. My compliments really go to Sean who in 105 degree heat never missed a beat or looked disappointed to have to add one more home to his schedule. He was friendly and thorough. My next scheduled paid treatment will be in September and I won't hesitate to continue using Bulwark. They really do mean that they guarantee their work and will retreat when needed! I recommend this company. The only reason I didn't give them the 5th star is that I am not sure if the child and pet friendly chemicals are the reason we needed retreating or if we just have had an onslaught of critters due to the field and the weather. Hopefully, after the next full treatment in September we will not have a need for the in-between visits. read more

Treatments did not work. When i reported the problem we had with pests in the home to the tech he showed no interest in doing an interior inspection or doing a repeat interior treatment. He instead sprayed the exterior foundation which took less then 5 minutes for the $80 treatment. The worst part was watching him walk around the yard with the long hose from the truck used to spray, he dragged the hose across the landscaping and flower beds, and knocked over some flowers, knocked over and broke one of our landscape lights, and was off to his next destructive house visit. It takes very little effort to make sure your hose does not drag across landscaping and cause damage, very disrespectful! I reported it to the local branch and requested to cancel the service which they did with no apology. read more

Bulwark was fine until I had a recurring problem which they are suppose to get under control when you're on their contract, as I was. As someone else mentioned the call center never made the grade. They would never make the follow-up appts. and the techs would show up to just do the usual contracted outside treatment, until i was home one day when one of them showed up. The techs were usually great. One techs even tried to call to make my follow-up appt. for me before he left, without luck. He finally told her to call me back when she figured it out and she never did. One of the managers even told me he would personally treat my house for my next follow-up appt. at a specific time and credit my acct. He did neither. i don't even remember now how many times i raced home to meet them and they wouldn't show up. When i would check-in with the call center they would have me scheduled for some off time that i never agreed to, like up to 7:00 in the evening. So i finally gave up. read more

Caleb went above and beyond his duties on WED 19 AUG 15! Just moved here and noticed some mysterious critters inside kitchen, wasps nests outside, and dead ones inside, and were told by house appraiser that there was evidence mice activity in the attic. Great 1st impression of Caleb! Warm smile and immediately began taking his shoes off. I showed him the stove where many bugs were seen, but i was not strong enough to move the it, so Caleb moved it out prompltly. I apologized for not having out and ready, but he was courteous and assured me it wasn't a problem. He then went up into the attic to find evidence od mice. He went into great detail to assure me that he saw no evidence of such. We, then, went outside to look for wasp activity, and, again, Caleb answered all of my questions and concerns. Finally, he did in/outside treatment, and was on his way close to 8 p.m., when my girls come in the house screeming about a scorpion! We ran to front door to get Caleb, and he jumped out (poor young man--think he was having a snack at end of his day) and found the scorpion and squashed it dead. Happy to say that Caleb the pest control man is a hero at our house!!! We are confident all company employees will be heroes like Caleb! read more

I have been with this company for a long time. Within the past 2 years I have not been happy with my service. The last time, they were a no show, time before that they didn't finish the job. I haven't been service by them since January, it is now May and they have the nerve to call me yesterday at the end of the day to say they were coming out today. Mother Day Weekend, I don't work that way. I am a business owner myself, and that is not how you run a business. I should of been call at the beginning of the week so I could of planned my schedule around their appointment. They definitely are not consistent! One of the first times ever I've had to give 1 star to a traditionally reputed 4-5 star organization. Looks like I must have had the wrong folks working with me and on my house. Very dissatisfied with the amount of spiders after 9 months of service. When I called to cancel I ended up with a babbling monkey who wouldn't answer my questions and made excuses for an organization simply not doing their job. They have only one to do and they simply aren't doing it well at all. When I asked for concessions to maintain my business, she offered half off. Why in the world would anyone pay half for 100% of absolute crap. Prove you can do your job and then I'll consider paying for your service. Absolutely pathetic. Strongly discourage their services. read more
