It was very cold and rainy, but he was very thorough and treated outside some landscaping away from our home that he thought may be a problem. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! After much research I signed up for Bulwark's natural plan using oils and not pesticide. Upon canceling my service after being a customer for TWO years I was offered to change my subscription to their "natural" plan. I HAD SIGNED UP FOR THEIR NATURAL PLAN! I experienced a huge decline in my geckos and now I know why. They were spraying toxic chemicals all over my house. And the supervisor was rude, said she was unsure why I had not received the correct treatment, and NEVER apologized. Completely unprofessional and unethical! read more

Employees are extremely friendly and professional. I have not had to call them but twice in 3 years - once when we first moved in, so it just need a little extra since the previous owners did not exterminate at all and another time when our neighbors moved and sprayed their yard and all their fleas came running to our yard. I am a practical person, and understand that pest control requires the use of pesticide, however, I want whoever is spraying my home to acknowledge that pesticide IS POISON, and afford due respect to myself, my family, the food I eat, and my home before spraying this stuff willy-nilly all over the place. All I ask is for proper respect and communication: 1) If food or my pets water-bowl is in the way of where you need to spray, please tell me so I can move it - don't blatantly ignore that its there and spray over it. 2) If I ask you what you are spraying, I don't want you to tell me that it's safe... it is pesticide, it is meant to kill things, it's not safe. I want you to tell me the name of the product so I can find out more about it. Seems simple enough, right? I used Bulwark for approximately a year's time. I made it clear from the beginning that I wanted information on the type of insecticides being sprayed inside my home and that I wanted communication on location and method of application. In that time, my primary technician, the one that exclusively serviced my area, was constantly telling me, when I asked what he was using, that "it is safe," "it will not harm you, your kids, your animals," "I use it in my own home," etc. He then would proceed to spray, without communicating to me where he intended to spray, covering my pet's food and water bowls, covering produce that was sitting on my countertops, and even applying poison that dripped down into my kitchen drawer and all over my flatware. I made a complaint to bulwark and, after their reassurance, they assigned a new technician to my home. The new technician came out and provided services (May 23) without incident, however, a few days ago (June 13), I had a roach crawl through my living room, so I called for a follow-up. Bulwark sent a third technician, who I was unfamiliar with. The technician asked to see the area where I saw the roach. I showed her. She then proceeded, without further discussion to spray pesticide all over the room, dousing a a pile of organic tomatoes sitting on my sideboard, which I had just pulled from my garden. I could not be more furious. It seems clear to me that customer service training is not part of Bulwark's program, and maybe it's not standard at all in the industry, but I don't intend to use Bulwark again. read more

Bulwark is one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of dealing with in the Home-Service realm. We had Terminix before and they were so bad, I jumped at the chance when the Bulwark salesman came to the door. I can honestly say that Bulwark is a shining spot in the otherwise dismal picture of pest-control. We have a newly constructed (2 years) 3800sq/ft house that backs up to about 500 acres of greenbelt. So, the bugs like the lights & the dryness of new construction. We employed Terminix to start & not only did they really not do a whole lot to curb the spiders & scorpions, they were absolutely ridiculous on the customer service front. Bulwark, from start to finish has been a very positive experience. The salesman was nice & not pushy ( I guess you don't have to be when your product is vastly superior). The technician showed up on time for the initial treatment, and was very helpful ad answered every one of my questions. Every time I call Bulwark, they are friendly and 100% of the time they have quickly provided what I asked for. We have used them for the last year, and I never see spiders alive inside & the only scorpion I have seen was very very well hidden behind some boxes, on the top shelf of a closet. Also, they are cheaper than Terminix. Overall, I am extremely pleased, and would recommend BULWARK to anyone! read more

Kyle Wilkinson was my exterminator and he was super kind and friendly. He came in and saw the cues to leave his shoes he sprayed my whole house in his socks!!! We also chatted which was a nice break from the awkward exterminator trying to navigate the home he sprayed the inside quickly but didn't seem like he was in a rush! After 3 months of a losing battle against pests I finally called in a professional. I can't believe what great service I received. The technician was great. Very down home country in an awesome way. Much Iike I have found most of Schertz. He explained in detail what he was going to do and their service plan. My son had his own set of questions and Thyle patiently answered his questions without being annoyed. I only now just noticed that they have a Yelp coupon. If you do work with these guys, watch them. They didn't take care of wasps nests, as their service agreement states. Just did it myself. Then, I put the service on hold until further notice. A couple months later, they just decided to turn the service back on when they couldn't reach me. Then the Service Manager argued with me, as he tried to justify their turning services back on against my direction. Unfortunately not the best service. The first service they sprayed in and out places traps I the attic , returned 2 weeks later traps empty . I believed they were set and reloaded with bait . I had a contractor checking on the roof the next day he let me know there was nothing in the traps , no bait . I called they came out at regular scheduled time . I was told there was no sign of activity and we agreed the traps to be removed . He sprayed outside but not inside . Had to have them come back the next day the spiders were coming in related to no spray inside and there is a mouse . So will use someone else . read more
