Our technician is Kyle Wilkinson and he has been absolutely wonderful. We are new home owners and new parents, and naturally worried about germs and bugs. When we noticed a bug problem a month after bringing home our daughter we searched google and then confirmed the business by checking the Yelp reviews. I have to say they do live up to the reviews! Every time I call the service number I am attended to promptly and efficiently. Most times they are able to get Kyle out to our home by the next business day, I am sure if I really needed help they would be more than accommodating to have a service member out the same day. When they are here they are on time--huge points for that--extremely polite and professional as well as friendly. It's great to see a business that takes such great care of their customers. I know we couldn't be happier with our decision to choose their services. We were leery about committing to a one year contract because as new home owners we though....really I mean how many times do you need a "bug guy". Well....to date they have been out plenty of times to make it super convenient and well worth the money. From taking down wasp nests to spraying for spiders, I know I'm certainly thankful I don't have to dangle from a ladder and take down wasp nests because my husband is allergic to bees. Arriving last August to San Antonio area, I discovered the joy of ants, spiders, wasps, scorpions, millipedes, etc. After reading several favorable reviews for Bulwark, I opted to make them my choice. Every employee has been knowledgeable about every pest question I have asked. Today, snakes. Other months, scorpions, differences between stinging insects, mud dauber nests, how to identify a paper wasp nest to catch it when its still small, you name it. Today's tech was Eloy. As with every employee Bulwark has sent to my home (a different one every time), he was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very customer-service oriented. Whatever training that Bulwark is providing to the technicians, its a great model. Bulwark provides call back services for any issues between scheduled spraying. Recently, Bulwark has instituted a text messaging service that allows me to receive messages for upcoming service calls. I can reply to the text message or call the service to reschedule. Its my choice. 2 weeks ago, Ande came out to knock down a paper wasp nest. She too, was professional and courteous and efficient. We just had our first service a little over 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I notice something on one of the curtains of our living room, a brown spot, I thought it was a bug, maybe a spider --but I was secretly hoping my kids had wiped their hands with the curtain after eating chocolate--. Well, as I came closer to take a better look I realized it was a SCORPION!!! Not a big one, but still a scary horrible scorpion. I am terrified of scorpions. I freaked out, and I wanted to yell for help, but then I realized I was the only adult in the house, so I took matter into my own hands and after a hard-fought battle, I got rid of it. I immediately called Bulwark and asked for an in between service, the lady on the phone was super nice and scheduled the next available which was the next day! Today the technician arrived on time, his name was Rolando and he was super nice as well, very professional and courteous. He very patiently listened to all my concerns (I always ask a lot of questions) and explained everything to me. He said the little guy might have been a baby scorpion that was still in its egg when they first sprayed and survived. I was very pleased with the customer service and the fast response. read more

Eutimio Garcia, from Bulwark Exterminating of Schertz, TX was here today. Amazing job! Professional, Courteous and Meticulous. Bulwark Exterminating has been our regular exterminating service for six years. Since we live in Texas in a neighborhood still under construction, we understand that occasionally we may see an unwelcome guest in our home. On Sunday, for the first time in almost two years we saw a rather large scorpion on the kitchen floor. On Monday morning I called Bulwark to request additional service to assure no more unwelcome guests for a while. The company immediately rescheduled our bi-monthly treatment for the next day and completed another scorpion treatment. Eutimio assured us that the scorpion treatment extended as far from the house as possible. He sprayed the outside and inside of our house and garage too for other pests including ants, cockroaches, spiders, crickets and earwigs. Eutimio was very personable as well as professional. I've been very impressed with Bulwark for a long time. Everyone you speak with on the phone is very professional and has energy/interest in their voice, and if you see bugs between treatments, they are happy to come out and re-treat at no cost, usually pretty quickly. I think they're just a very well run company. JORDAN W. came out today to re-treat. He's not the guy who has come out in the past, but I hope he will be the one we get in the future, he is great!! He educated us about several things that we hadn't been told before, plus he told me he noticed several wasp nests and took care of them. I guess that's part of his job, but none of the techs that have been here before have addressed wasps that I know of, and I've never thought to ask them. AND when he told me that he sprayed the wasps, I remembered a nest I had seen recently in a tree and I showed it to him and he said he would get that one too. I went back inside and didn't think about it again. Received a text maybe half an hour later apologizing that he had forgotten to get it after all, but would ensure it was done by him or another tech this week. Now that is service! read more

We have been using this company for several years! We highly recommend! Originally I found this company through my doctor because I needed to double check chemicals due to a medical condition I had. Ever since I've had amazing results and knowledgeable staff to help us from everything to payment, scheduling and treatment. Today Eman came and did our treatment. We had to rush inside for a Zoom meeting. In our rush, he was kind and followed through in listening to our request for adding flea and tick prevention to our regular treatment scheduled today. We appreciate his professionalism, smile, speed, accuracy and kindness to us even though we rushed off. We are so grateful! We live in an older home and bugs visit our neighbors often. The company also will send you texts with nasty things they found and removed! If you can be home or not, your yards can be well treated each month. 10/10 recommend this service and all the awesome staff they bring to keep our home protected from pests. When I first wrote my review for Bulwark, I was pretty happy with my service. I found them on Yelp thanks to their numerous positive reviews, I had just moved into a new home and wasn't experiencing any pest control issues...and icing on the cake, if you write a good review and mention your service person you get a discount on your next quarter's billing. Sounds great, right? Sadly after a couple of years I have become a pretty unhappy customer. Our roach problem got out of control, and as someone who has a major phobia of roaches this wasn't going to fly. (The flying roaches were bad enough.) My technician came out whenever I called for interior treatment but never thoroughly sprayed and never fixed the problem. We had carpenter ants as well and his treatment was completely ineffective. Very frustrating. I called another company who on the first visit treated the entire house and noted a ton of roach activity in our attic. This was what was getting in our house and Bulwark never would have caught that. I'm happy to have a new local company who actually listens and gets the job done. read more

I'm out in San Antonio, TX, Rodney Bennett came out and he was great! He hit all the problem spots and also courteously took care of spots inside the house that were concerning to me. He carefully explained how the "in-between visits" guarantee works before he left and made sure everything was clear. Other companies and service techs just come and go and you don't even know if they were even here or what was done. Where I can see the value on that, to me, it is always better to overcommunicate than not at all. Always make sure the customer is aware that you're here and call or contact the customer before you leave for the day or immediately after your work has been done. Rodney Bennett did just that and more. I hope Bulwark keeps him, treats him good and tries to always keep people like Rodney in their roster. I've been a customer of bulwark for almost a year & I've been content with their services & exterminating products. The house next to me had a serious issue with roaches, I was even warned by the contractor hired to clean it up that he had to fumigate it several times to get rid of the infestation of roaches the house had & he thought they might move right over to mine...however we never had an issue thanks to Bulwark servicing my home. I just recently had my first lest treatment for this year & I had a new technician service us. I must say that although I've been happy with Bulwark keeping bugs out, this tech stood out greatly to me! Michael Hovik is the technician who recently serviced our home & he listened to all of my concerns since I hadn't gotten serviced in a while, he made sure to get in a very corner of the house to ensure roaches or any type of spiders would not come in. Michael was great! He alerted me before he was going to arrive, and once he did he gave me thorough details about what the treatment plan entailed. Further, he mentioned to me that since this was a DR Horton home (a new construction) I was probably eligible to receive my first treatment for free. After calling Bulwark Pest control, a supervisor helped me and it turned out he was right so he saved me 150 dollars! I also really appreciated how he was more than willing to wear protective shoe covers (because we don't wear shoes in our house). He mentioned he always does that because he doesn't want to track product unnecessarily into someone's house or animal droppings he may have accidentally stepped in while servicing yards. He showed great attention to detail, was very knowledgeable and explained what he was using and how it worked. I believe we have used Bulwark Exterminating now for about a year. The tech that we normally see is Robert Garcia. Two things worth mentioning the Bulwark Service we receive quarterly is very very good...no critters and if I do I simply call and they schedule a visit without issues. 2ndly...the tech that supports our area of north central San Antonio Robert Garcia...he is GREAT! When we first signed up we had Robert spray the inside and the outside...the next time Robert and I had a conversation about the Bulwark products used and he explained if he does a good job outside we should not need him to come inside...and he was right. We now only opt for Robert to treat the outside of our house and especially around all doors. Which I am really happy about because we have inside pets and I would rather not have the chemical around the baseboards. Very customer friendly company. Sales person came by yesterday to see if we were intrested in services, I have been having a probelm with fire ants after all the rains and wasp nest forming at the top of our tall two story, so agreed to a service. Sales guy set me up with an appt the next day! I called the office in the morning with some questions I had thought of after the sales guy left and spoke with Steven, he not only answered all my questions but was able to work with me on a 12 month service plan with a price I could agree on. Micah P. came out on time and got right to work. He was fast and professional. As he was leaving I thought of a wasp nest on the top back corner of the house that I had forgotten to tell him about and was certain he had missed, but I went out there and it was gone, with just a few wasp still lingering around. We recently purchased a new home in New Braunfels, TX and Randy Molina called on our home to inform us of Bulwark Exterminating professional services. He provided detailed information, answered all of our questions and even was flexible when I needed to change the meeting time of our initial service meeting. We have been using Bulwark Exterminating for 6 years now and are very satisfied with their services. Craig Smith first came on a rainy day so we went ahead and rescheduled since even though Bulwark can use different types of chemicals that work in inclement weather but it was such a downpour we decided to reschedule. Craig was professional and understanding and so we postponed our service until yesterday. Craig kept in touch with us updating us on his schedule as the day progressed and he was actually ahead of time when he called to make sure it would be okay to come early. Once he arrived he took care of our needs and let us know afterwards exactly what he had done. He even sent a text photo showing us that he checked the traps, reloading them with additional bait. This was the first time we met Craig and were impressed with his professionalism. Good job Craig! read more

I never would have thought that I would say that I love a pest control company, but "I love Bulwark." They have such great customer service. I always get a friendly and helpful when I call. I also love that you can get a free callback service in between regular visits. After our first visit from Cassie, our pest control pro, we immediately noticed a difference. We no longer had to attempt to use fly swatters. I really had no idea what to expect. I was also worried about how the treatment would effect the dogs outside, but they assured me everything was safe and letting us know the precautions. I have to say I was so impressed with how quickly, quietly, and efficiently Cassie treated our house, inside and outside. The first technician (whose name I don't remember) was extremely polite, punctual, and very accommodating. He explained everything that would be done and answered all of my questions in English and not with the industry terms. Unfortunately, I had to have a follow-up visit due to some pesty little ants. Rolando contacted me and explained he was in my neighborhood earlier than expected and asked if I would be OK with an earlier appointment. I agreed and when he arrived I explained the issue and pointed out the 2 problem areas. Rolando explained why they had returned and the next step that would be take to eliminate these bugs. He was here less than 20 minutes but whatever he did, it worked because I haven't seen any in about a week! Thanks to both technicians! They were very personable and did a great job. My technician Rolando was running late, I received a prompt phone call before my appointment time and was notified of the situation. Then was then followed up with a first treatment phone call by the representative who initiated the service contract. He followed up with the technician to ensure what the situation was and called back and stated that Rolando was on his way. Rolando was courteous and prompt about working, and when he was completed he stated services he had done. I have never had extermination services before, but I could see the results immediately! Those critters didn't like their extermination products and were dying soon after treatment. I like the Idea that I can call them back to between services to maintain as many times before my next full service. I am happy with the service and look forward to continue service with Bulwark Exterminating. read more
