We walked here from the Aquarius, where we were staying, a short 10 minute walk. It's located inside the Pioneer casino as soon you walk in you'll see the purple neon sign for the restaurant. On weekends they serve buffet brunch only. There was a short line but we got seated within 10 minutes. Our waiter was awesome friendly and attentive made sure our mimosas were always full. The food was mediocre breakfast, salad bar, lunch items, and some dinner items. Best part of the brunch was the mimosas. After we ate we stayed to gamble a bit and did pretty well. My wife and I have enjoyed the Bumbleberry Flats for over a year and always had top notch food and service. We recommended this restaurant to all our friends. We were invited to a VIP dinner on 12/31/2024 at the Pioneer. The food, atmosphere, and staff were great. Unfortunately the Pioneer did not staff enough employees and the poor staff was running raged. People were complaining because 1/2 of the room already finished their meal and the rest of us were still waiting for ours. On 01/01/2025 at 10 A.M. my wife and I went to Bumbleberry to have breakfast. We were told that there was an 1 1/2 hour wait for a table. As we left we looked in the windows of the restaurant and noticed that over 75 percent of the seats in the restaurant were empty. At 8 P.M. we returned for evening dinner. There was approx. 10 tables occupied. It took almost 1 hour to get our steak and shrimp order. The potato was cold and the shrimp was sautéed not Cajun grilled per menu. On 01/02/2025 we came back for breakfast. My wife ordered corned beef hash. She was advised that the corned beef was not prepped the night before and they did not have it. The normal A.M. staff, Burt, Judy, Shiana went out of there way to make sure we had a good breakfast. Food was perfect and came out quickly. We returned that evening at 9 P.M. and we both ordered hamburgers. There was only 4 tables that were occupied. We waited for 1 hour for our hamburgers to be served. When asked, we were told that the bar orders came first. The swing shift manager, (Pregnant), did not help her staff in any way. She was sitting in the corner laughing with another employee for over an hour. When paying my bill the manager asked, "how was everything"' I advised her that it took over a hour to get our food. She laughed and said, "things just happen". And took payment for our food. What the hell has happen to customer service. On 01/03/2025 we informed Judy of our disappointing experience over the past few days. We sat down to have breakfast and was informed that the crispy potato's were not prepped the night before and were not available. After placing our order the Manager of the restaurant introduced herself and we advised her of everything. Then a few moments later the executive chef came out and talked with us also, (awesome gentleman), we told him our concerns. He informed us that good help is hard to find. We advised the chef that his menu is awesome. However, when your kitchen staff doesn't keep the quality of food up that he put in place this makes Pioneer Casino and restaurant look bad. We are hoping that the owner of the Pioneer will host a job fair so the restaurant will not be understaffed again. Good quality workers are hard to find and "PAY INCENTIVES" will keep them there and want to stay. It will be a while before my wife and I will return. As soon as she was done with them she left and did not acknowledge us, while seeing us behind them. Worst part, her colleague saw us and did not acknowledged us as well. By far the best place to have some home cooked food in huge portions. I will say that the service is great, the bakery items are great and food is definitely worth it. I had jambalaya and we tried the southern full rack of ribs and had leftovers for 2 more additional meals. Love the food here! Anything you order here is absolutely delicious and the customer service is superb too. My favorite item here is the Wreckless Mary that comes packed with food. Word of advice, this place gets packed so make reservations early and ask to sit at the tap booths that way you can poor your own drinks. April 2019 Day trip to Laughlin , NV and Bullhead City , AZ . Had to stop at the Pioneer Casino for their cafe . They have the best stone ground cheddar cheese grits this side of the Mississippi ! I swear they're like crack . I got the burger with Brisket and Angus cooked together with Bacon , BBQ Sauce , and Onion Straws and they must have put crack in it too . The best burger I have had in years . Of course Sweet Tea . April 2015 Breakfast was fantastic ! My son and I went there Thursday morning for breakfast before we hit the road back to Las Vegas . We both had the Build Your Own Breakfast . I had the waffle with apples and cinnamon , eggs scrabbled , with country ham , and stone ground cheddar grits . My son had the waffle with strawberries , eggs , sausage , and hash browns . I am originally from South Carolina and let me tell you , the grits here will knock your socks off ! They gave me a big bowl and it was so good . The waffles were fluffy and the fruit fresh . The eggs were supposed to be two eggs , but it seemed like more . The country ham was big ,good , and smokey . My son said the sausage was really good too . The waitress came by several times to check on us and my coffee never went lower than half full . Great service . Best breakfast I have had in a long time and my son and I love to good out for breakfast , he is a big eater . Neither one of us finished our breakfast because we were so full . Hubby and I had our Thanksgiving meal at Bumbleberry Flats for Thanksgiving and it was delicious! We did not make reservations so we had put our names on a waiting list. For a holiday we did not feel that a 30 minute wait was long. I love the rustic look of the restaurant. All of the staff were so accommodating and really very nice, friendly and happy to help. Decided to pop in since it seemed to be one of the better breakfast places in Laughlin. We came in around 11 am on a Thursday and the wait was about 15 minutes, played some penny slots while waiting, don't see that anymore in Las Vegas. We were sat and were promptly assisted by our wonderful server. To begin, the portion sizes here are gigantic, we didn't even come close to finishing our meal. The chicken and waffles were delicious, fluffy and crispy waffles, tons of butter and syrup and the chicken was moist and flavorful. The scrambled eggs were a little plain but nothing salt, pepper, and hot sauce can fix up plus the sharp cheddar had a good flavor to them. Lastly, we got the banana foster waffles and boy were they delicious. They were covered in a delectable brown sugar sauce, crunchy candied pecans, fresh banana slices, and were not short of whipped cream and powdered sugar. All of this plus drinks for about 40 dollars. I just want to know, why are they so mad? Hostess seemed annoyed to see customers and would try to discourage us from staying by saying there would be a 1 to 1.5 hour wait. (They got us a table within 15 minutes by the way) Seemed like the staff had mailed it in for the day. We ordered mimosas and got them in regular juice glasses. Not many food options to choose from. They had scrambled eggs and eggs with chorizo, only the eggs with chorizo didn't have chorizo. They just looked like they were cooked in a pan that they had cooked chorizo in earlier. Country fried steak with gravy wasn't bad though. Taco station was out of tortillas and toppings. Seriously, no salsa. Ambiance wasn't bad but you would get a feeling you weren't welcomed there because the staff just seemed to be angry. It must have been a long day. read more

Bumbleberry Flats is a must try in Laughlin, NV. This restaurant is located in the Pioneer Casino, which has an old western theme. Upon entering the restaurant, the host/server was welcoming and even gave us a booth with a lovely view of the river. They have a separate menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My boyfriend and I originally thought that breakfast was served all day, but it was only served until 11 am. However, we still wanted to try the food and we were willing to try the lunch menu. We asked the server what she recommends. She recommended the Prime Wa Cheezie sandwich and the BBQ Brisket Burger (which was a specialty item off the menu). We ordered these two items, and we were happy with our choices. The Prime Wa Cheezie sandwich was filled with prime rib, Swiss cheese, grilled onions all on a ciabatta roll. It was delicious and filling, but the side of fries that came with the meal were surprisingly amazing! These were honestly some of the best fries I have ever had. The BBQ Brisket burger was huge, very delicious, and was unlike any ordinary burger you find in most burger joints. This burger, which I highly recommend, was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Before leaving, of course we had to buy some baked goodies at the front. We ordered the everything cookie, chocolate chip cookie, pumpkin spice brownie, and cannoli. The best item for me was the everything cookie, which was incredibly chunky and chewy. The rest were good, but not overwhelmingly amazing in my opinion. Based on my experience with the delicious meals, the friendly service, and the view of the river, I'll give this place a 5/5. Younger hostess had an attitude when I asked her how many parties were ahead of us. Apparently she was upset because she called and text me and I didn't answer. No such call or text came in and I was sitting right in front of them the whole time. They had the wrong phone number. The food here is never disappointing. It's always very tasty. The food itself is 5 stars. I gave 3 because of the staff encounter. We ate here multiple times. It would have been a 1 star, (again because of staff encounter) but our breakfast & late night dinner visit the next day, the servers were awesome) My only complaint is they need to either update their menu, or update their staff about the menu items. Upon our late night arrival, we headed over for some dinner and the ultimate bloody Mary! Now this used to come with a small glass of beer - not the case anymore. The topping are still the same, although the food recipes have changed a bit. Online & and the menu, you get your choice of doing a bloody Maria or bloody Mary. We were told NOPE. It's a bloody Mary only. If I wanted a bloody maria, it ld be from the bar & not an ultimate. Oook..soo, can I order the ultimate part? And get the bloody Maria ordered from the bar? NOPE. Ok, can I do a virgin ultimate & a shot of tequila from the bar? (I'll mix it in myself) NOPE. They said the ultimate is pre mixed. So no modifications. I asked if I can have it spicy. NOPE, again, it's pre mixed. Ok, fine. When food came I asked for Tabasco - oh we don't have it.. There was a bottle on a table across the room!! If it was just me, I would have left at that point. IDK what that servers issue was, but dang, king of Grinches at this point. I bragged about this place so much, had the birthday group excited about it, then we get this. Brunch was a better experience. The website says 3am-2pm.. They don't start till 8am. They were quite busy when we arrived. Hostess was a bit grumpy, but our server, Sosaia was AMAZING! Super attentive & friendly. He confirmed that the ultimate bloody Mary can be a Maria was well. The "bloody mix" is the pre-made part, then they add the alcohol & or spices. So, it could have been a virgin drink. ( we told him about our experience from the night before. He said he knew exactly who it was & will mention it.. Then kept apologizing for that behavior throughout our meal). He brought a glass of OJ, and topped off the champagne, so we can add the juice to our liking. The buffet part is pretty limited, but fresh & filling. Online the prices are wrong. It's about $26/per person with the players card. Dinner, they weren't that busy at all - but short staffed, so we had an hour wait at 830pm. (they text you when your table is ready). We were worried we wouldn't have many options since they closed at 10.. But idk if it's because they were behind or if they changed their hours, but they were well open after 11pm with people still arriving. Our server was attentive & apologetic about the delays with seating & the food. Everything was good though. The dinner Grinch did leave a sour taste w us, but we're assuming that's a one off, so we will be back on our next trip.. Because after all, this place IS one of the best in the area! read more

I want to like this place, I really do, but I have been there multiple times and have been disappointed each time. I appreciate the attempts at a creative menu, but it just doesn't work. My last visit I had the apple rum bone in pork chop. It sounded awesome, the pork chop was very dry and overcooked and the apple rum sauce tasted like canned apple pie filling. It came with grilled corn on the cob which again sounded awesome, but again was overcooked and very dry. The dinner came with a salad which was fine. The veggies were fresh and good. Too bad the actual dinner wasn't as good. Service was fine, but nothing special. This was my 3rd time trying Bumbleberry Flats. I don't think there will be a 4th time. read more

Overall, the service is awe-inspiring!!! From the host to the servers, the chef who brought our omelet to the table, and the busser. The food was decent. It hit the spot.
