DONT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT i decided to come after seeing the good reviews about it online. I came for breakfast and they told me they only had the buffet available, this was at like 8:30am. We paid $25 PER PERSON. The food was literally inedible. Foul. Disgusting. Just by the look of the food on the trays it was unappetizing. everyone left the restaurant either eating a piece of fruit or potatoes and left all of our plates full. We always go here when in Laughlin. The people who work there are awesome. They go out of there way to make you feel welcome. The food is always good. This time, due to COVID and seating restrictions the crowds of people with large groups of more than six were not able to be seated due to current laws. Some of the people trying to get seats were rude and disrespectful to the hostess who kept her smile and cheery disposition. She deserves a raise. This time I had the chili Cheeseburger. So yummy. On this past Sunday February 25th my GF and I went to try this brunch out. It was very hyped as the best brunch in town! Welllll... I wouldn't say the best! First of all there's not enough food choices for the amount of money you spend ($25 a person) second of all if you pay cash they will seat you close to the water view if you pay by card they seat you next to the cashier! ( we asked to be moved and they moved us one table over Third of all, the quality of food is not worth the $25 they had too many egg options ( if you like eggs your good) if they had any chicken options I would have given another star! Our server told us that the Pioneer itself was just sold and they will be going through renovations but the restaurant will remain and operating during construction. They ambiance is a little country, and a little beach plantation. There's booths that line the windows so you have a great view of the Colorado river while you dine. We were there for a brunch: *Chicken and waffles* $13 Seriously, amazing! A homemade waffle stuffed with bacon bits, very light and airy, with a slightly crispy outer shell. Then it was topped with half a chicken, literally! One breast, thigh, wing and drumstick. Lightly breaded, freshly fried, crispy, piping hot and delicious. Comes with Red's hot sauce and freshly churned butter. I can see why this is their most popular dish! *Prime rib hash* $11 Hubby cleaned his plate!! It comes with a fresh homemade biscuit and homemade strawberry jam and two eggs. The hash had beets, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes and chunks of prime rib. Moist, flavorful and very filling. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was too considering the quality of the food, the fact that it was pretty much all made fresh and it was so darn good! We came in on a Wednesday afternoon and there were only like 3 other tables so I understand why the service was pretty slow. It took quite some time for our server to greet us (although the busser did get us drinks) and when we weren't ready, he took way too long to come back to take our order. The food came out fast though and was quite good. I was unimpressed with the Southern Style Sushi because even though it tasted good (homemade BBQ sauce was amazing), it was cold. The server said it took the longest to make so you'd think it would be hot when we got it but it wasn't. Also, the cheddar bacon waffle I got was supposed to come with butter (which it sorely needed) but they forgot it and I didn't get the chance to ask because I have no idea where the server was. The portion sizes are great for the price. Beware that the servings are large and you may over order. Overall, we said we would come back so that means we must have liked it enough. read more

Before the Covid... I super love this place . We go here like 3-4 x a week because the food is good and the service is always outstanding. But after they re open again ...it's not just the same. The food is now just mediocre and the service is so bad. Few times we came in we have to wait almost two hours and they're not even busy. They are using the social distancing excuse but I look at the dining area there's only few people seated. There's a lot of tables available even you consider the social distancing. I tell you they just don't know what they're doing. Who ever is managing the restaurant is not doing a good job. I don't mind paying high for food as long as it's worth it. Yesterday they said an hour to an hour and a half waiting ... 2 hours later we were not seated . We just end up leaving and by the time we left no restaurant is open anymore and we're so hungry ... my husband has sugar problem and my mom is having a headache. It's a very bad experience. Sorry but I will just bring my business somewhere else. read more

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. The service was horrible from everyone and the food was disgusting. If you've ever seen the National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation, it has to be the same buffet from the movie. #barf The food was poorly displayed and slopped out, nothing looked edible. I think we spent more time in line to pay then we did at the restaurant. Two employees were around the cash register and no one offered to help or check people out. It was easily 15-20 minutes before we got to leave. No employee shows any gumption that they want to be there. Also the employees go on smoke breaks with the aprons they hold your straws and napkins. At first we thought we were going into a hillbilly bullshit but it ended up being our FAVORITE place in Laughlin! And we drove 30 mins for it... food was A++++.. we got wings, chicken and waffles and the chicken and waffles with egg, hash browns and everything else in one, 2 strawberry drinks with alcohol... so worth the price!! Worth the wait. We had a group of 6, they were so short staffed so wait to be seated was 45 min even though there wasn't any other people waiting. We were served lots and lots of coffee, with flavored creamers, to keep us occupied. Ordered a bloody mary that came in a tankard, was really good and just as ordered ( no fru fru, lite spice). Also enjoyed one if their cinnamon buns, nicely warmed with butter. Food was all served very hot and all at the same time. Whatever was not as ordered was corrected IMMEDIATELY, and fresh. Our waitress was working all by herself in the dining room and was super attentive, made the entire meal very enjoyable. Even got a cinnamon bun delivered with a candle for a birthday! The only exception to a five star review was the salad, warm and wilted. We came for dinner on Halloween night. The food was very good, with the exception of the salad. The dining room had a staffing problem as there was only one server on duty. (Sad even for Laughlin.) No complaints as to the quality of the food. Food could be great. They have great menu items and I have had really good meals here BUT... the last 3 times the oil they use has been too old. You could definitely taste the rancidness of the old oil. It's a shame because the service is decent and the menu is good but they completely ruin it by cooking in rancid oil. So my second day in Laughlin my wife and I went to check this place out, didn't wait too long got seated, service was great, very attentive waiter. Rarely do I have high hopes for casino restaurants, and it's even rarer for these restaurants to meet or exceed them. Bumbleberry aced any preconceived notions I may have had though and knocked it right out of the ballpark. They are working a reduced menu currently, so they didn't have a Denver Omelette, which led me to try the ham steak and eggs. The eggs were done right, and the coffee was good and they kept my glass filled. The ham steak was the star of the show however. I mean this was the Escalade of ham steaks. It was overflowing the plate, and just so damn tasty! If I ever come through town again this will be my breakfast stop for sure! read more
