MMM! This place is really good. I have a confession to make. I am actually not a huge fan of Indian food, but my wife is. It's actually one of her favorite cuisines. We saw that this was a fusion restaurant, and so we figured maybe I could get something I enjoyed while she could get the stuff she likes. What a fantastic decision that ended up being. Let me set the scene for you. It's in an old strip mall, okay? The mall has seen better days. Not much to look at on the outside. We walk into the restaurant, though, and the vibe suddenly switches to something much more modern and elevated. Soft, comfortable lighting, nice wooden slats decorating the walls, smooth jazz or something playing in the background, and the soft murmur of conversation. My wife ordered the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, while I ordered the "chicken noodle." The description said it was Hakka noodles, which I had never heard of before. Apparently it is this wondrous Indo-Chinese dish based on Chinese stir-fry noodles. Oh, man. It was so good. Flavors perfectly balanced. Vegetables nice and crisp. And the bites of chicken in there? It tasted like popcorn chicken. So if popcorn chicken in delicious stir fry noodles and vegetables sounds good to you, I recommend the Chicken Noodle. I'm a big texture guy, and this had it. No sogginess. No weirdness. It was something you could just keep comfortably eating with no drama, just deliciousness. I'm eating the leftovers right now and I'm so happy, haha. I can't personally speak to how the other dishes were, but my wife seemed to like her order as well. Ah, and I should mention our server was very nice. Calm, friendly, and attentive. I've ordered takeout from this place a few times before and usually have a decent experience. Unfortunately, the popcorn chciken I received this time wasn't up to the usual standard. The appearance was off, the taste wasn't great, and the chicken seemed undercooked, so I wasn't able to eat it. I'm hoping this was just an isolated issue, because I've enjoyed their food before. Went on a Friday evening with kids based on Yelp suggestion. Brand new place with Hyderabadi menu. Fremont has quite a few Hyderabadi places already so I was curious if it will stand out. The place is small with around 12 tables. It was easy to get a table since not many people. We ordered 1. Mutton marag. It was a slow cooked goat stew. I asked for spicy but it was not spicy at all and I expected goat to be fresh. It was not as fresh as melt in your mouth kind. Just ok. 2. Veggie noodles. We asked for medium but it came with heavy dose of pepper which overpowered the dish. My kid did not finish even half of it. They should really act on spice levels requested by patrons. 3. Butter chicken. The gravy was as expected but too less chicken and very small sized bites. Overall, this is very average Hyderabadi food in Fremont. The only reasons I am giving it 4 instead of 3 stars are, excellent service and for being a new restaurant which deserves a second chance and hopefully will act on my feedback and improve. read more

I visited recently and had a delicious meal here! My favorite thing was the mutton soup - I've never had anything like it before and want to come back just to order it! First time customer, came across Zyka Fusion during my trip to the plaza. Had learned that they had opened about a month ago. A few parking spots out front available or you can also park in the parking lot. Lovely decor and ambiance! Very clean and minimalistic. Very welcoming and cozy. Service was incredible. Love the ambience, and the service was great! That said, vegetarian options are fairly limited - this seems like the place to go for meat. I ordered the Pioneer Tikka, a garlic naan, and the Veg Manchurian. The Veg Manchurian was a bit mild for my taste, while the Tikka was very cheesy and felt quite rich - delicious, but indulgent. We're always on the hunt for new spots, so we had to check this place out! Even though they've only been open for about a month, the Friday night energy at 8:20 PM was buzzing. We were lucky to snag a table in under five minutes, but heads up, the crowd definitely picked up as the night went on. Their Indian fusion menu is genuinely interesting. We started with the Chilli Chicken, Schezwan Chicken, and Crispy Corn. The chicken appetizers were incredibly tender and packed with flavor. For the mains, we went with Goat Haleem - Hands down, the best I've ever had. I'm not even a "Haleem person," but this bowl was the first to disappear. Butter Chicken - We were hesitant, expecting the typical red, heavy tomato sauce found everywhere else. Instead, this was a revelation--creamy, light, and beautifully balanced. Mutton Marag & Schezwan Veg Rice - Both were excellent and rounded out the meal perfectly. We initially wanted the Apricot Delight for dessert, but it was unavailable. The server offered an off-menu surprise that was--no joke--finger-licking good. It was gone before I could even snap a photo. I was in such a "food heaven" coma by then that I forgot to even ask what it was! The Service was Top-notch. The staff was patient and knowledgeable. When we mentioned the Crispy Corn was a bit too salty, they handled it like pros, immediately offering to replace it or take it off the bill. The ambience was lively with light music and plenty of conversations from the other people dining there. The service was friendly, attentive, & kind. Zyka, a brand new restaurant in the area, is a must-visit for any true Hyderabadi. Their weekend menu is simply divine, featuring both of Paya AND Marag. The decision between these two comfort foods is a tough one, but I highly recommend trying the Paya - if you are feeling adventurous, try the Zubaan paya. It's a nostalgic trip back to the amazing flavors of my childhood. The chicken and goat dum biryanis were both spot on. Please don't change the recipe, Zyka! The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a perfect ambiance. The service was great, especially considering it's a new establishment. A big NO !! Very disappointing experience -- waste of time and money !! Horrible service including uncooked chicken and tasteless food was served. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant had only 3 tables occupied, yet the service and food were incredibly poor. We checked in around 7:20 PM, and there was no one to seat us or take our order. After waiting 5-10 minutes, we finally placed our order. Then we waited... and waited... and waited. The food only started arriving at 8:20 PM and that too after asking the staff 3-4 times. Each time we were simply told "it's coming." The first dish to arrive was Malai Kabab, and it was half cooked with pink chicken inside. We had to send it back. The rest of the food, including the corrected kabab, came around 8:35 PM. We paid around $65 for poor quality food and horrible service. During the long wait, even Uber drivers were arguing with staff because they had been waiting 30+ minutes with no clear update and wanted to cancel orders. Overall, this was a very bad experience.
