The go to tea place for my kiddos and I. Fresh brewed tea, different flavors not from powder or sugary syrups but from fresh made purées, juices and fruits. My favorite is the mango Jasmine green tea or the Sunright fruit tea. I love that they have options for kids too. The kiddos go to is the frostie with boba or the orange yakult with boba. All so refreshing and legit. Although I don't know why they took out the tables and chairs, it's slightly annoying not to have anywhere to sit and wait for your drink or enjoy it on premises. I've asked different employees and nobody can (or want to) answer me. I mean at this point, does it matter? It's just so weird. read more

Ok, I hate leaving negative reviews, but sometimes it has to be done. So I've been to 3 other sunright Tea Studios multiple times, so I have some level of expectation from this chain. Sad to to say, this location is probably the worst one I have been to. Actually, my experience here was one was pretty bad compared to most boba shops. Why may you ask? Let me tell you a little story, You may skip to the end if you don't like reading. So this happened last weekend. Just had a wonderful Easter lunch and was spending time with family who I haven't seen in a couple months. Was having a good afternoon and wanted to treat everyone to nice boba treat. Lucky for me, they were running a promotion of a BOGO if you did a coloring page. I had spent the previous night coloring a masterpiece! Recalling back all the coloring skills I had back in elementary school as well as my collage art classes. Fighting through hand cramps and stress from using only a basic 12 color pencil kit to make my multicolor work of art, needless to say, I was looking forward to presenting my work to get a well deserved delicious drink bonus. Already had my eye on their Dubai chocolate frosty drink. Sunday was going great, feelings running high, until my GF and I walked into this place. Got up to the register/kiosk to order. The kiosk had nothing about the BOGO so we had to get the attention of the lone worker to help.. If help was the right word... We rang the bell and waited for a bit before the worker came. Long story short, he said he was not trained for it and had to text his manager. He just left and continued to make drinks since there was a lot of people waiting around for theirs and I could see the online orders printing out, adding to his work load. So we waited, 5 mins, 7 mins, 10 mins. nothing. No acknowledgement. No communication. meanwhile a small line had formed behind us, and I was feeling the social anxiety. I got the workers attentions and asked if there was any progress? He said the manager hasn't responded. I asked if he could call her instead of texting. He said he was too busy and left us there... W.....T......H.... At this point, we stepped to the side to allow people to use the Kiosk since we apparently weren't helped. We waited like chumps for another 10-15 minutes, no acknowledgement, and at this point I got Hangry.. So I made a joke with my GF that I could probably order a pizza and get it before this guy helps us. Hahaha.. funny joke right? EEEEHHHG! wrong... since that's exactly what happened! I ordered domino's pizza. We kept asking for help but the workers basically didn't do anything. When my app said my pizza was ready, that's when I knew we just wasted our time. 45 ish minutes for nothing. On our way out, my girl friend was nice enough to let people know who had the coloring pages in their hand that the worker doesn't know how to apply the discount, and that we waited for almost an hour. We considered going to the Fullerton location but at this point my Hangryness was at peak. I'm over it. So we left frustrated, angry and disappointed. I had to let my family know that there was no Boba for anybody. Much disappointment since everyone was looking forward to a nice tasty, frosty drink. Made me feel like a big L. Why would management run a promotion and not train workers for it? Why was there only 1 worker on a busy Easter Sunday? Talk about bad planning and training. Ironic thing is that they had the advertising for the promo right next to the Kiosk! SMH. They should have called this place "SunWrong DMV". Nothing going right, no help and long lines. They almost ruined my day, but at least the pizza didn't let us down. -- So in conclusion, be wary if you come here especially if there is a promotion, order online and expect a wait during the weekends. read more

Great bubble tea place. The store itself is set up kinda weird. There's no seating here anymore (not sure why they removed it) but now it's just a big open space. I feel like they could better utilize that space. The menu is also in the most unreadable spot way above the cash till (pretty much at the ceiling) - who puts a tv screen up there? After dining at the restaurant next door, my friend and I stopped by Sunright Tea Studio for a refreshing drink. The shop wasn't crowded, and we were able to place our orders quickly after checking out the menu. I ordered the Sunright Tea at 50% sweetness, while my friend went with the Strawberry Tea at 100%. While I appreciate the ability to customize the sweetness level, as I prefer less sugar, unfortunately, neither of us enjoyed our drinks. The flavors just didn't quite hit the mark for us. That said, it might have been an off day, and I'm open to giving it another try. Next time, I'll likely order based on the staff's recommendation, especially since I later read that the Sunright Tea is best enjoyed at 100% sweetness. I've been to multiple other Sunright locations and the drinks and boba are pretty consistent and delicious at every location. At this location, I tried the Mango Yakult with less ice, 50% sweet, and honey boba. The drink was $6.25 and $0.75 extra for the honey boba. I ordered my go to drink... the Mango Frostie with jasmine tea jelly. It is a sweet drink for sure, and it was a great way to celebrate a day off :) There aren't a lot of places to sit down inside, but I was getting a drink before running errands anyway. I came on a weekday early so it wasn't busy at all. Service was good. Fri 15 May 2026 - 6:45P Two workers, not very busy inside. First thing I noticed was how much of a hot mess it looked inside. Barren and kids drawings/scribbles slapped all over the walls. I also noticed milks left out on the counter despite the slow business, and all the pitchers of teas left on top of shelves without lids on them. Coming from 9 years working in cafes and beverage service, I was super alarmed to clock that. The one making drinks seemed newer to the job, while the more experienced one was mopping. After mopping, homie did not wash his hands and then hopped back in to helping with drinks. By that time, I knew I'd have to taste my beverage before leaving. Sure enough, the oolong was extremely bitter and over extracted, despite me getting the drink with the recommended 100% full sweetener. This is maybe the 4th Sunright location I've tried and by far the worst. I think it's a franchise type of shop, so I place the blame on management for the misses here. As always, if I'm not too sure where I want to grab boba from, I default to Sunright. This is especially true when i'm not too sure what my friends like, as I would say most of the drinks here are pretty solid. Typically, I get the Sunright Fruit Tea or the White peach oolong cheese. If I'm feeling a little extra, I'll get a frostie or a yakult. The drinks and the service is pretty consistent across the different locations I've been to (Irvine and RH), and I haven't yet had bad service or drink from here. If you don't want to talk to anyone, they do have the online kiosks, which is super nice. However, sometimes if the line gets a bit long, then the staff will start taking orders, however if you don't wanna wait in the lines, you can also order online. The drinks always come out pretty fast, so never too long of a wait. There is some seating inside and some outside, but not too much. So if it is a bit busy, you might have to go elsewhere if you want to sit and chat with a friend. read more

Updating my review! Since my original review during their grand opening, they've improved on a lot. You can now place online orders and drinks are made fairly quickly. One of my go-to boba tea shops in the area! My favorites are the following: 1) strawberry jasmine tea with lychee jelly 80% sweet. I actually came to like this combo when the lychee jelly was mistakenly added to my drink. Now it's the only way I like the strawberry tea. It's so refreshing! 2) sunright fruit tea: this one is a hit or miss depending on who makes the drink. When done right, it's a 10/10. Sometimes, I get a one off where I think either the fruit or tea is old because it leaves a bitter aftertaste (like from the orange or lemon soaking). 3) Four Seasons cheese foam: I had this drink on repeat at one point. The flavor is so unique and unlike other tea shops. I love it when I'm feeling a milk tea type of drink. I came to the Artesia store on Easter Day for their coloring page BOGO promotion. The worker, Benjamin, failed to honor this corporate promotion claiming he did not know how to apply it in the system. Benjamin provided very poor customer service and attitude - claiming he doesn't know what to do and "what can he do about it?". He told us he couldn't help and did not even apologize + push us to leave. This employee is very poorly trained and this experience has caused us to no longer want to service this business. read more

All the Sunright locations I have been to have been pretty consistent and solid. My go-to is the taro milk tea (they use real taro!). The drinks are made quickly. Oh dear Artesia location, what happened? First off, I haven't been able to order online at all from this location in a while. They have always turned this off, I feel because the number of orders are a bit overwhelming for their staff. Second, after dinner with the fam, we got sooo excited to finally get boba and left our dinner place early because we know they close at 9pm. It was 8:33pm, when we got to the parking, yay! Honestly, I really love this company. Their teas taste so authentic and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. My go-tos are the fruit teas, matchas, and milk teas. I haven't had anything bad here. I've been to this location a few times and never had any problems until today. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing. My husband and I ordered at the kiosk and waited, but we noticed people who ordered after us were getting their drinks first. When we checked in, the associate said they were just waiting on an ingredient. A few minutes later, someone walked in with a bag of drinks saying he had accidentally taken the wrong order. Right after that, the associate called our name and was about to give us those same drinks that had just been brought back. Everyone waiting kind of noticed what was happening, and to me, that's a health concern. For all we know, that person could've tasted them before realizing they weren't his. My husband pointed it out and asked them to remake the drinks, which they did. The teas were delicious as always, but it was disappointing that the associate wasn't upfront about what happened and had someone else hand us our drinks afterward. Orange Americano - they warned me it's going to be different and to try it first while in the story. Not going to lie, it is kind of weird... it's orange juice w/pulp and americano coffee and you shake it together. Im not a fan of pulp in general but I'm kind of digging the orange coffee flavor. I don't think I'll order it again but I don't mind it! FYI It came in a large drink cup even though I ordered a regular size. House coffee - it's a small coffee cup that I briefly glanced to see it had Vietnamese coffee in it. For someone who loves Vietnamese coffee I'd say it's rather mild... very mild. I prefer my coffee much stronger. The americano has more flavor to be honest. I don't think I'll re-order the two coffees again, but I'd try the fruit ones next. read more

I like to consider Sunright Tea Studio as one of my comfort spots when it's late at night and I'm craving some boba. Jasmine is one of my favorite tea flavors and I really enjoy how there's something jasmine-flavored in almost all the categories in the menu. If you don't particularly like coffee or tea, there are fruit-flavored drinks and chocolate-flavored drinks as well. Sunright also offers a kids menu so there is something for everyone's tastes. I like to keep my eye out for collaborations because there have been some pretty unique drinks in the past. My personal favorites are the Jasmine Milk Tea and the Grapefruit Jasmine. The drinks are a little on the sweeter side for me so I usually stick with 50%. The mochi was my go-to topping and I am sad that it's discontinued. I still dream about it! I go for the Jasmine Tea Jelly now because I enjoy how fragrant it is. The staff always welcomes you when you come right in and in terms of seating, there were chairs and tables before. This is my favorite place to get milk tea for my girls. They greatly enjoy the Hokkaido milk tea. I enjoy all sorts of milk tea here. Honey and brown sugar boba is decorous. I also enjoy the mochi add on. I wish they had a smaller drink size option. I just recently found out they had kids drinks but it is limited for 4 types. I wish they would open the general smaller size option to purchase. A grown up portion of milk tea get these kids too hyper. First time trying this franchise, like the decor and the style of the place. I noticed this plaza first when I visited Red Flame (right next to it), and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly, overall, but there is so many boba places in the area. We got the oolong milk tea and the jasmine milk tea with boba. Their oolong could be a bit stronger but that is just our own preference. The only thing that I didn't like much was the boba that came with it. Working at a boba place before I probably have a certain standard. Overall it was a decent experience, and I also learned that they have a lot of these franchises in other cities. We came here during a collaboration event with Honkai Starrail and as expected there was a bit of a line and their relatively small space was jammed with people. I could feel their air conditioner struggling but was grateful they had one because I can only imagine how much hotter it would've been. :-D The line moved fairly quickly. There is a a kiosk right in front to order the drinks but if you do have a question there is someone you can ask. The collaboration drinks were Karmic Chocolate Matcha which has chocolate with matcha from Japan and fresh milk. This drink gives a chocolate milk vibe and it was good. We also tried the Blushing Blueberry Splendor which is a blueberry smoothie with cheese foam and jasmine tea jelly. This was sweet and delicious as well. Great drinks offered for a limited time. But I'm sure their other drinks as just as delicious. The event itself was one of the smoothest ones I've attended. They were well-stocked even after arriving towards the end of the day. Not sure if it was just an off day for them, but the drinks were not up to the Sunright standards im used to compared to other locations. The drinks are watered down and not sweet enough- even at 100% sweetness. They were nice enough to remake our Sunright boba milk tea but it still wasn't exactly the same as Sawtelle, Little Tokyo, or Irvine locations I've been to. The staff was nice though! One of the rare Sunright that doesn't have 2 kiosks in front to order from. Instead, there is only 1 kiosk right at the cashiers counter. (Meaning line can be long to order) Parking: shares a lot with the other businesses in the strip lot. Not a whole ton of parking but thankfully there's always a car that's leaving. Service: They accidentally gave away my drink to the couple in front but when they saw me waiting for a while, they asked me what drink I was waiting for and remade my drink. Lo and behold the couple returned my drink but thankfully they were already remaking my drink and gave me the new drink instead of trying to pawn off the returned drink. Still my favorite local boba spot, Sunright is expanding like Starbucks and I don't mind it. I've tried a number of their drinks but my go-tos are Matcha Red Bean Frostie, the Mango Frostie, and Oreo Brulee Latte. Note the frosties are slightly filling, especially the Matcha Red Bean! The location is clean, but I usually order in the Toast app and they're usually pretty quick and timely on the order pickup. The only things I dislike is that they don't deliver on any app platform and the parking lot for this particular location is tight and often full. If you haven't heard of Sunright, get up out under that rock and check it out!
