Pepper and egg sandwich for Lenten Friday.

Typical great food and service from Buona Beef. Nice clean dining area. Service was spot on. This location also has a Rainbow Cone.

My boyfriend and I ate here. He got the Italian beef with sauce and I think it was better than Panera. It was so saucy and very flavorful. I got a Cesar salad with chicken. The salad itself was good but the chicken was dry. So amazing for Italian beef, but wouldn't recommend the salad for what it costs. The place is clean. Service is good but you have to order over a computer screen.

The food is good. It's called Buona Beef, so I definitely come for the beef sandwich. I had the beef with red sauce and mozzarella. It was really good. My girlfriend had a Cesar salad that was good but the chicken was a bit dry. The service is good with friendly staff. The tables are cleaned up for you after you're done eating. You also have the option of ordering at the kiosk or with someone behind the counter. The ambiance was good as well. The lighting isn't too bright or low and the place was nice and quiet. You can have a comfortable conversation and enjoy the food. 5 stars due to the food and service.

Came for the beef & stayed for the cone! Parking is plentiful for indoor dining and a lane for drive-thru is available. Inside you can order from a table (card payment) or at the register (cash). Menu offers beef, pasta, and pizza choices - rigatoni with chicken is my all-time go-to. Our order is always fresh and timely. Finish off a delicious meal with a tasty ice cream treat!

What do you feed the Drake University Softball team when in town for a 3 game series? BUONA BEEF of course! What better way to 'taste Chicago'? They LOVED it! I just feel bad they're heading back to Iowa so it'll be awhile before they can eat like that again. Ordering, pickup and setup couldn't have been more effortless. Everything was included and easy to follow for catering setup. Taste? - full bodied perfection just like our family is used to in the restaurant. 24 thumbs up from the athletes and coaches! Drake Softball thanks you for their full bellies!

Being from California, Italian Beef sandwiches are kind of foreign to me. My boyfriend ordered me the standard sandwich with hot peppers as well as a chopped salad and a side order of chips. The sandwich was so tasty! The meat is really lean and not super salty, and because it's sliced so thinly the whole sandwich is really light and has a good texture when you bite into it. The bread is very lightly toasted and the gravy is nicely soaked so you get a tasty soaked bread in the middle. The addition of the hot peppers gives it a little texture and kick, but I only wish they included more. I definitely wish they had this in California because the sandwich is under 400 calories and you get awesome lean protein. Chopped salad was pretty good too! Nothing mindblowing but the sweeter dressing and textures helped contrast with the sandwich. Chips were sprinkled with some cheese powder or something but nothing special.

Salad add ons shows chicken tenders contain egg when kids menu does not disclose this allergen

**NOT SAFE FOR FOOD ALLERGIES** MAJOR FOOD SAFETY CONCERNS My 2 year old toddler with a severe anaphylactic egg allergy ordered chicken fingers which claimed to be Egg Free. After noticing that the crispy chicken on the adult menu was not listed egg free, we got suspicious and called the store when we got home before letting him eat it. The employee we talked to told us that they were the same chicken, despite allergens listed as different. He also told us that they DO contain Egg, which is not disclosed on the allergen menu. I'm thankful my wife caught this and convinced me to double check, as it could have ended up in an ER visit at minimum and injury or death for my toddler at worst. I later followed up with an email asking them to make the update but have gotten absolutely no response. This is a major food safety concern and unfortunately there have probably already been injuries that have resulted from kids unknowingly consuming food allergens they can't have. Unbelievable that of all places, they neglect to get right the KIDS allergen menu.

Food is great, service is beyond slow. It shouldn't take over 20min to get a beef sandwich to go. Ever.

It's awkwardly positioned in a small strip and the parking is terrible, but worth the inconvenience! Three of our group shared the mixed grill, selecting the beans and fries as their side. They thoroughly enjoyed it and even had a small bit leftover to take home. It's a generous platter of various grilled meats including the signature favorite Macedonian kebapi, as well as a few types of sausage, pork and chicken. The bread provided was the perfect texture for nestling these cuts to form the perfect bite. I decided to go with the Sharska Burger and the classic (and nostalgic) presentation with the fries inside the burger. Even though the burger was a bit overdone for my liking, I suppose it has to be cooked to a higher level of doneness to ensure the cheese filling is thoroughly melted. The fries were hot, crispy, and fresh but I had to get through a lot of them before I could access my burger. Not a bad thing, but I think I would get them on the side next time for convenience. We actually started with an appetizer of a few pieces of burek to share- one meat and one cheese. We found the meat version to be better than the cheese, which was on the dry side. The burek, when ordered by the piece, is just okay. I suspect it's possibly reheated in the microwave which makes the exterior a bit soft, less crispy. We've never had that issue when ordering a whole burek- it's always been flaky, crispy, and delicious. I would skip the individual pieces next time and order the whole, because any leftovers can be easily reheated and crisped up in the oven, avoiding any sogginess. Service is always good and attentive. An employee was celebrating a birthday when we were there, and staff kindly shared pieces of birthday cake with the diners in the restaurant. Thank you! The only off-putting thing was a table of several men who sat along the back window tables, shifting from one table to the next repeatedly. They finished their meals as we arrived but proceeded to linger there for the duration of our visit and were still there when we left. They seemed to be in the trucking business, as it sounded like they were interviewing at least one person and talking about trucking. People came in to see them and left repeatedly, as if the space was their own office. Many restaurants place a 90-minute limit on a table, which is what I personally think should be done in situations like these, especially when seating inside Babba Grill is already limited, and these individuals don't see the inappropriateness of treating it as their personal office. Disrespectful of the staff's time and the restaurant's space, imo, and affects the ambiance. Hopefully this type of thing doesn't happen to them often. We are already planning for some pastrmajlija on our next trip and we can't wait!

It was 5:45, I didn't have a reservation, a they didn't have a table available until 7:30 but there were spots at the bar which they said was full service. My friend and I cozied up to it and ate there. What a surprisingly good experience. The staff was super friendly and that bartenders had great suggestions. I hate when people at the restaurant say everything is good. Not these young ladies. They made some sound suggestions which we followed. French onion soup and the steak frites were both excellent and priced well IMO. They have a really good whiskey/bourbon selection with a few hard to find bottles. I settled on a Blantons neat. They had Pappy, but I'm not wasting money on that anymore. Food came out quickly and we ate and watched a baseball game. The locals at the bar told us about their membership program where I guess for a small mo they fee you get a bottle of wine and a charcuterie plate once a month. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I don't live anywhere near there, but if I did I'd certainly join. In any case, if you live anywhere close, this is definitely a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Seems like there were quite a few singles there as well if you are looking to meet someone. I have no idea what the dating scene is like in Lemont, but this might be a good spot to try.
