    My recent order

I have been a regular customer here for six months and never disappointed! Lermont at Verdugo location makes me feel welcome and it's very helpful. I dj and have a lot of events I need to look fresh at and I always stop at this location to get me prepared ! Thank you Lermond and Burbank dry cleaners

Before - crisply shaped hat, with defined features. After - a shapeless lumpy mess and poor band placement.
    Tim G.

TL;DR - take work whether they are capable or not, ruins items, owner Zack denies any wrongdoing and is incredibly rude Dropped a straw fedora off to be cleaned recently and it was completely ruined, but Burbank Dry Cleaners refuses to take any responsibility. I understand a hat is not a traditional piece of clothing, which is why when I dropped it off I made sure to ask the owner Zack whether he felt comfortable being able to clean it, and most importantly, that it would keep its structure and shape when done. I asked that last part and whether he was sure a good 3 times. He said it would be fine, but he would need to sew the band back on because it may come unglued, which didn't seem like a big deal. When I picked up the hat, it was a shapeless lumpy mess, and exactly what I asked them NOT to do. I almost thought it was a prank it was so far removed from what I requested - it looks like someone just tossed it in a washing machine. The crown has lost all shape - the pinch on the front is gone, the crease on the top is gone - and the brim is wavy. Even the one thing Zack told me he needed to do - sew the band back on - he did a piss poor job of and positioned it too high so you can see the seam of the hat. See my pictures for the before & after. Of course when I asked to be refunded for the cleaning and maybe even for them to pay to replace the hat, Zack couldn't have been more rude about it. He immediately got defensive and refused to admit that he might have done anything wrong or offer any recompense. He alternately claimed there was nothing wrong with the hat and it looked perfect despite me showing him photos the contrary, or that this is what is expected to happen when he cleans it and wouldn't acknowledge the fact that I asked for assurances otherwise. His tone shifted from condescending to jerk accordingly. And if y'all think I'm being a Karen, I recorded the whole conversation, though I guess there's no way to share it here. Just look at the other negative reviews and you'll see a pattern in how they handle these things. I can't believe Zack felt comfortable assuring me they could clean the hat and that it would come back looking the same. I would much rather he be honest and just say he isn't sure they have the capability to clean it and keep it in the condition I asked, so don't want to risk ruining it. Instead, they are desperate for a buck and will take anything, probably because their customer service is so crap they are driving their business away. And this is after another recent trip when I had to make them clean an item again because they ignored the spots I pointed out - so even when it comes to more traditional dry cleaning work they have become lazy and subpar.

    2 pieces, 73$!

This place is great, and their prices are 1/3 of the competition. Its family owned, and they are all very friendly and helpful.

Left my designer trench…read morecoat to be dry cleaned (emphasized that it needs to be handled with care) and they damaged all the buttons and replaced one completely. This is the worst experience I had at a dry cleaners. I understand situations happen - what's more important is how the business takes care of matters afterwards. I called the next day at 8 am to share my concern and as I'm speaking to the employee, they do not want to compensate for the damage to get the buttons replaced but instead, asked me to drop off so they can replace them at their store. If it was a non-designer item, I don't have a problem getting the buttons replaced. However, a designer item is expensive and should uphold the same quality. That is why it's called a designer item. My complaint is clear, my jacket is damaged from the entire front, wrist area, and shoulder area. It's not just one button, all of them are damaged. The owner, Zach refuses to accept any of my video/pictures and would rather have me drop it off at the store so they can examine or come to my home to see "how they can fix it." Got a hold of the owner, Zach and he begins speaking to me in another language which I thought was quite rude and was very unprofessional. No apology offered, no compensation offered and was coming off in an aggressive manner which I did not appreciate. I will never be visiting this business again.

Fantastic service and quality dry cleaners!…read more From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and promptly attended to at one of the many counter stations. You feel valued as a customer. Other businesses nowadays forget customer care is a key importance to success and retention of clients. So many places don't even greet you, staff have apathetic attitudes and act like they are doing you a favor by merely coming to the register. Each and every visit I get consistent and friendly engagement from Milt & Edie's employees. I truly appreciate that! They are fast, efficient, and open long hours. Any dry cleaning, or alterations I request are ready before promised. Turn around time is impressive. They have a good amount of staff on premises around the clock. There is a reason they have been in business so long, and have a loyal customer base....Consistency One thing to note is they are more expensive in comparison to other dry cleaners. However, Milt & Edie's is located in a high traffic, nice area that is quite expensive real estate. Also they employ a large number of employees with some days open 24/7. That results in a premium rate for location, shop hours and quick turn around time. Like the saying goes, "you get what you pay for", at Milt & Edie's you get fast and quality service, great customer care, with convenient location and extended hours. I have seen 20% off coupons for M&E on the back of the local Vons store receipts. Those on a budget, or use them frequently, these are a good coupons to look for and retain. I will continue to patronize them with, or without coupons. The service and care provided at Milt & Edie's is worth it.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me…read more Never coming back. I was just charged $75 to have a sweater cleaned that this sham shop categorized as a "coat." It's obviously a cardigan. When I asked what the heck, I was told "it's just how they categorize them." And when I asked the price difference between cleaning sweaters and "coats," I was told sweaters start at 17 and "coats" start at 35. So WHY was mine 75? Well, because it's "couture" so they "take better care of it." It's an old cardigan I found at an estate sale -- who cares who made it? It's not a fine dress or fancy whatnot. This incident followed a tailoring situation which involved no less than 3 visits. The 1st time, I requested the arm opening of a caftan be moved a few inches down a shoulder sleeve. Picked up, took it home, and found that the arm hole had been modified to look like a tiny penguin sleeve with a wee tiny hole my hand barely fit in. Took it back and found out the woman who took my initial order wasn't the one who did the failed work. Okay... so when I picked it up again, I found they'd simply unpicked making the arm hole smaller and didn't do the actual tailoring I'd initially requested. Because I didn't check the work when I got it home and then finally discovered when I tried to wear it weeks later, I was told I'd waited too long and would have to pay AGAIN for the work they'd never done. A manager finally agreed to actually have the work done that I'd paid $40 or $60 for after I had to tell the saga multiple times. Even though this place is close to my house, they charge whatever they want and their customer service when there's an issue is crap. Not worth the free popcorn.
