Not knowing they would be done so fast, they finished changing my brakes quickly but I couldn't get back in time to pick up my car before they closed. Timeless Values!!! Mark loves this place, and his customers, and it shows. He has old-fashioned values that NEVER go out of style. The customer is treated with respect, intelligence, and dignity. My story of arriving here was a bit discombobulated. I brought my car to Funk Bros Auto on Ventura, which is a fantastic mechanic, for a new battery and a synthetic oil change. They inform me that my brake pads were down to almost nothing in the front. This was very disconcerting because I had spent my final discretionary income on the battery and the oil change. So here I am about to have brake pads go metal to metal, and being quoted a little more than I could actually afford. But as you know, brakes are pretty much an emergency repair that needs to be done as soon as you know that it needs to be done. You can't wait on brakes. So for the next 24 hours, I was emotionally distraught thinking about my vehicle. Until I did a quick yelp search and Burbank quality brake and alignment. I call, Mark answers, I tell him when I need done, he starts giving me exact pricing for each part, including the amount of cents. He tells me he'll call me back with a quote. He calls me back five minutes later and quotes me the best price that I have found anywhere for my front brakes and rotors needing to be replaced. It was JUST within my price range. I'm talking just within my price range within 20 bucks of what I could afford. Mark being so diligent and respectful with every cent accounted for allowed me to get my brakes done (which gave me instant peace of mind). And not only did they get done, once I came into the mechanic shop Mark has the biggest heart and instantly won my trust. I just handed the keys over with full confidence it was all going to be done right. He sees my guitar in the trunk and he starts talking about guitars and shows me a guitar that he designed himself a really really nice Stratocaster. I feel like I've been friends with this guy my whole life, and not only would I get every service done here in the future, but I would easily recommend that you do the same because this is a truly honorable business, and truly respectable man, who runs it putting his customers first. I was told by my dealership that I needed new brakes and got a quote. I decided to look around first and called Burbank Quality Brakes. I spoke to both George and Mark when I called to get a quote and later make an appointment. Both super nice and helpful. I brought it in and George confirmed both front and rear were needing replacing. I was in first thing in the morning and was done in couple of hours. Again nice in person and the waiting room was clean. Best thing is it cost me to get both done for about the same price as just the rear ones at the dealership.
