Have used and recommended Western Tire for the last 25 years probably since Des Williams owned Valley Tire on Verdugo. There today having minor work done on the Alignment and had a chance to chat with Jack and Greg since Brian was off taking care of some family business. Family run since there father started and continued over the years. Can't say enough about the friendly Service you will receive as I bought 4 tires back in December and they will be need to be rotated in another 1000 miles (don't drive much). Nothing is cheap today and if you want to go to those Discount Tire Stores then fly at it. We are a one car family and needed to replace our rims and tires for a reasonable price before the rain and wind came. Most chain stores quoted us 2-3 times more than what Burbank Tire Pros quoted us. I was hesitant because the thought ran across my head that maybe the quality is not too great, boy was I wrong. Ohan and his associate helped us pick a whole set which made the car look absolutely gorgeous! It was strange that guys kept complementing on how nice the rims look with the car, I guess it's similar to how women complement great a pair of shoes look. Oh and other places said we needed to replace our brakes, shocks and struts for a ridiculous amount. Ohan and his mechanic said we only needed just the struts. Amazing! They were not only honest, they educated us on the dynamics of the repairs and wanted to help save our money again! It's been over a month driving all over the city and beyond to see how well everything felt, the results are better than expected. The ride is much smoother and enjoyable, even on horrible road conditions such as surprise potholes. Had a flat tire about a mile from the shop tonight and limped there at about 5:50pm, 10 minutes before they close. I thought there would be no way that I could get my tire fixed, but had to give it a shot. Walked in, and although they were busy with other customers, they asked me what the deal was, I told them, and they asked for the keys to the ride. 15 minutes later, the nail was out of my tire and the tire was patched, filled, and back on the car, like nothing ever happened. Gotta give major props to Edwin Haroutonian and his team! A lot of places would have sent me packing to Pep Boys, but Edwin saved me from that misery. I went to Tire Pros because I herd a rattling noise when I press my brakes. I normally go to Good Year Tires , however when I googled Good Year it took me to Tire Pros. As I walked up, this Arminian man walked up and began to assist me, who at first seemed intimidating. I told him what I was dealing with , and he then brought me to the front office. Richard then had the guys test my car , he made a couple of jokes which lighten the mood for me. He then let me know my back brakes went out. He reassured me not to worry , it happens which calmed me down. Because honey I am a drama queen! Then he gave me a quote and booked me for the following Friday. Also gave recommendations on other body work that I have to get done. All and all this place truly cares about people not just the paper and plastic people tend to carry. The absolute worst customer service I have ever received in my 24 years on this earth!!! I had just left my house and was driving for 3 minutes, my car started to overheat and coincidentally I was passing by this shop so I pulled in immediately. I walked in and the manager and his mechanic both still sitting half ass greet me. I told them the situation and immediately the manger starts saying "no way I'm not touching that car right now if it's over 150 degrees I'm not touching it" which is understandable because if the car is too hot it will spout out boiling water and burn whomever is working on it. I told him I understood that but that I had just left my house and it shouldn't be that hot. I asked him if he would at least check the temperature. He shouts to his mechanic to pull it in the garage halfway and we'll see how hot it is. (As if he was anxious to prove me wrong) I started to get in my car and drive away at that point but I was already there and wanted to see if anything could be done. He had a negative attitude and was projecting it. I felt uncomfortable and was already stressed about the situation to begin with. He told me I could leave it over night and he would tell me what's wrong when it cooled down and I was contemplating that until he came back from the garage shouting the car is 145 degrees and I'm not touching. He literally counted out loud so I could hear him 90! 100! 125! So effing annoying. Then he says Leave it here I'll tell you what's wrong tomorrow. I started asking questions like, what he thought might be wrong, or the prices and he wasn't helpful at all. I asked him if I'd be okay just driving home for now and he said "I'm not gonna answer that cause then you'll point the finger at me" I got so mad I just walked away to get in my car. I shut my own hood and got in and I told him had he not been so rude I would have left my car with him. He kept saying what's the problem until I told him again that he was f*#ckin rude. I was tearing up out of frustration at this point. Horrible Horrible Horrible experience. He insulted me on my way out and said something was wrong with my head. You should be fired! read more

Bad Customer Service! I went to get only an oil change and received a call I needed to get 2 tires changed told them thanks not interested I'll have my personal mechanic take care of that. After 1hr had gone by asked if my car was ready when I got to the shop all my tires where out? They waited for me to come back to put my tires back onto my car....How does that? I went to Tire Pros after hitting a rock and needed my tires checked out. A clerk sold 4 new tires because he said mine were in bad condition and cracking. I drove home and find out my tire light is still on. I bring my car back for new brakes and to recheck the tires, and he said the rim is bent and it will be an additional cost. I asked him why he missed it the first time, because that was the whole point of me bringing in my car. This place is not very thorough and will rip you off. I found another place to repair my rim for $125 cheaper. I told the owner he was running a terrible business to miss the bent rim, and he never even apologized for the inconvenience. Also, this company charged my credit card twice for my brake purchase. I have to contact them again about the double charge. Beware and go some place else! read more

BE CAREFUL! I was looking for a decent mechanic I could trust and have close to home. After a few minor tire repairs, I recommended them to a friend- BIG MISTAKE. She bought 2 tires there and an alignment. A couple of months later she brought the car to the dealer to fix some recalls. The dealer said the vehicle was severely out of alignment. Given that dealers are typically higher than Indie shops for standard services; we took the car back to Tire pros for the alignment. This is where the fun begins... the mechanic asked if the car had been in an accident in a accusatory way that was strange and somewhat intimidating to the lady I was with. I just thought he was a jerk. We stated that the vehicle had not been in any accident. His diagnosis said the car's frame was bent, and we'd need that fixed by a body shop before he could replace a badly damaged camber. WHOA! It was then back to the dealer for a 2nd opinion. The dealer found no frame damage, no bad camber and did the alignment. END OF STORY... END OF TIRE PROS FOR US!!! It's all about trust w/ me and Any service company I deal with and I simply can't trust these guys. read more

Stay far far away from this place. Zero stars. I had taken my old car here just for an oil change. They tell me I need a new axle I'm like no problem. So I pay for an axle and oil change. I leave to come get my car and guess what??my car will absolutely not start. Never in my life have I gone to a mechanic and my car not start when i came to pick it up. They tell me it's my distributor. WTF. My car was running fine when i got there,but I see the owner or manager decided to take advantage of me because I told him my car is like my baby. Horrible service dishonest stay far away from this place. Needless to say i didn't want to give these crooks any more of my money. So their little plan to try and get more money out of me backfired. So I had my car TOWED home. I had my dad and brother call and confront him. He did not have much to say. They are thiefs at this location. I ended up buying a distributor myself and having my brothers mechanic in another city fix it. I'll never go to a mechanic just because it's near my home. I'd rather drive a half hour away to receive decent honest reliable service. Please stay away from this place. I would recommend you find somewhere else to go! The owner is EXTREMELY rude. His hot temper is totally unacceptable. His prices are outrageous, and his "know-it-all" personally is disgusting. I had my car here for a "radiator repair with hoses and a thermostat". His demeanor was so rash that I felt extremely uncomfortable dealing with him!! His quoted price was also hundreds more expensive than other shops in the area (I called two others and got a quote between 200-300 less than his original stated price). Upon his frustration he went into the shop and threw items around like a child being refused candy. This temper tantrum was sad to watch for a "man" his age. I'm not usually one to publicly bad mouth a shop however he does not deserve any local business! There is a proper way to deal with customers and he clearly does not have that ability!!! I have never in my life had to deal with someone so rude and ungrateful. My advice to him, lean one simple fact: Your customers and overall reputation are the only things keeping you from closing up shop. Shocking and unbelievable is my description of my visit. Horrible! Like anyone who can't fix their own cars themselves, I have some mechanic horror stories. It had gotten to the point where I was just going back to the Carmax service center because it seemed "safe". I needed four new tires and surprisingly, they don't do new tires. I actually found this place through yelp. According to the site, the tire places near me were not so well liked by posting customers. Near work, however, several well reviewed shops were about. Ohan gave me the best quote and honored it. He said it would take about an hour and a half, so I prepared to bunk in. They had me out in 45 minutes. Also, and here's what will most likely bring me back: When they looked at my car (which I've done a decent job of keeping up, mechanically speaking), they said it looked clean and in good shape. When does a mechanic you've never met or been referred to by someone who "knows" the guy before, not try to sell you on something you don't need?! Also, they offered a competitive price on the regular oil changes and such, so I'll likely be back in another few thousand miles. read more
