I love coming to this place. I know it's a hit or miss in outlets. I always give them a call first to check if any special sale going on. The sales persons have always being super helpful to me( Alfred, Bee and the others, sorry for not remembering all the names). Even the manager Laura was great cause I was exchanging something and I went over my 14 days by 4 days. I always believe that if you take the time being nice to people, you will get the same. Even if there not accommodating to your needs, you can still be nice. It doesn't hurt to take time to be understanding. I come back to this place almost every 6 months. I was in search for a mens wallet as a gift. Upon walking into the store, it was empty. I was not greeted at all. I walked straight in and looked for the mens section. I passed the cashier but she did not greet or even acknowledged me. I took a glance in the mens section but this guy was staring at me. I wasn't sure if he was a customer or an employee. It turns out he's an employee , not clocked in yet because he was holding his suit and talking to the other workers. I wanted ask but the employees attitude did not make me feel welcomed. Recently bought a trench coat and some men's clothing here and during the shopping process was treated extremely rude by an chinese SA after I was on snapchat going through the filters and she said I was taking pictures of the trench coat I was trying on. Told her I wasn't taking pictures and I'm only on snapchat and she proceeded to repeat herself 5 times as if I'm deaf. Pretty sure if I was a white customer she probably wouldn't do the same. Went in last weekend and asked if they had any perfume or cologne because they used to when they were located in Vacaville. Immediately the salesman said they have one bottle in a glass display and it's $2400. I never asked for the price. He could've just said no. I agree with the other reviews- the service is terrible, they follow you around, judge you, and don't even greet you. I'm much more comfortable shopping at the regular retail store. Okay experience. Had to wait outside because there were "too many" people inside (Like 10 customers). Deals are okay, not the best. Today there was a 20% if you spend 500 deal. I've purchased over a dozen ties at the Gilroy Outlets - and retail store in LV, so I thought why not Livermore, after all I live here. I went into the store, walked past 5 employees, 2 were busy, 2 made eye contact with me, and NONE greeted me. I looked at the ties and they had a very limited selection for an outlet store. Theres so many sales associates here right when i walked in i was asked to be helped by like 5 different people, but the one who helped me the most was June. She went above and beyond for me because i had to try on every size to make sure they were perfect. If I'm going to be spending close to $200 a shirt i need it to be exactly how i want it. I ended up buying 2 polo shirts and a button up black plaid total was $450 but thats about right because it was burberry. This location didn't compare to when it use to be in Vacaville's shopping outlet. The Vacaville one had a lot of purses and wallets and the layout was a lot better. This store didn't have many styles of purses or wallets. They did have a variety of clothing though. I found one small wallet, not a long one and since it was the last one, I grabbed it! The cashier's were quick and out the door I went! I'd probably come back to check out what else they may have but if their selections are always that little, it doesn't entice me to come back to check often! read more

To be short, just go to the normal Burberry store because that is where you will find what you are looking for. I went to this store 2 weeks ago and while it wasn't a mess any more, it also lacked merchandise and the items I look at were a lot more expensive than they used to be. You're only saving about 20-30 bucks and have a lot worse selection than even a stripped out (for the season) regular Burberry store. This store seems somewhat pointless. Maybe it is different during the holidays who knows. $80 for a polo shirt was the norm a while back which is still overpriced since this stuff is made in China but they want $119 now and you can just go to Burberry and find more colors for about $150. I cannot find a proper word to describe my disappointment and anger shopping here. I bought a coat on Dec 26 for my wife (worth $570 or so after discount) as our anniversary present, which we returned today since she doesn't like its style. The cashier asked us the reason and was going through the return procedure as normal until the manager came (at least I thought he was the manager). He said the coat was not in good condition because of the lint on coat. How could a heavy woolen cloth not having any lint after placing in wardrobe for 5 days, especially for people like me who have a cat at home?? Then he asked for my ID with a reason to keep on record of this return, I felt little confused but as long as I could get my money back. The customer service was very good! I bought a puffer coat and the size did not fit well so I brought it back to the store but I realized that I did not have the receipt with me. I told one of the sale associate who was very kind. She tried her best to help me out. She asked one of the managers to solve my problem. They looked up my credit card history and was able to find the receipt. I felt very sorry for the store manager who helped me over 40 minutes. I don't understand why people had a bad experience of dealing burberry staff here. They were very kind and supporting each other. This is an outlet store. This Place is a joke. Both manager and supervisor there is of no help. Wasted about 30 mins of my time getting a price for an item they lost the tag for. Only to have it priced MORE than the advertised price on the website. When asked if they can price match, they keep giving me excuses for why they won't do it. First they claim it's a different season, but the item number they print out is the exact same as they found online. They keep telling me to go buy it online. Where is the customer service there? I am physically here, with the item right in front of me, and they just keep making excuses. Different item number, etc, but when I pointed out, it's the same item, they made another excuse. I waited a ridiculous amount of time for poor customer care and service. They finally offered to order me one online at the online advertised price only to tell me it's sold out and they can't order one. According to the website, there is non in the 50 mile radius they searched however I see one right in front of me. The only one physically available in their possession so are they using that to their advantage? I've purchased goods from here before but this last visit left me with a sour experience that I don't recommend others to shop here. This place is giving Burberry a bad name. read more

A lady friend and I were exciting to go shopping at this Burberry outlet in Livermore. However when we got into this Burberry store the service and attitude of the staffs was indescribable. - The general and assistant managers did not allow us to try on the jackets in the fitting room without any explanation. - The employees there refused to put our stuff on hold at the counter while shopping. - The store managers refused to sell us 2 items of the same kind. And said: "It's the store policy". Meanwhile other customers can buy 5 scarves and 2 bags of the same kind. - The store managers irritatedly replied "It's MY policy because I said so" when asked why other can buy up to 5 of the same kind. - The store managers were aggravated and took our stuff at the counter threw them in the back and said: "If you are not happy you can just leave." - I calmly asked "why?" meanwhile my other lady friend was silently standing behind didn't understand all the conversation in English. - The store managers asked us to leave the store otherwise they will call security. - "Why would you call security?" I asked. - The store managers said they have the right to refuse service to anyone. - So I asked them: "but why you refused service to me and my friend?" - Then 2 security guards came with a loud mouth and a street gang like attitude. Remember these are 2 middle-aged ladies they are dealing with. - I let them know that I will file a complain about their bad service and rude manners toward customers. - The store managers laughed and told us to go ahead and gave us a complain form. - I took out my phone to take picture of these people that mistreated us then one of the security guard gave us a double middle finger and said go for it. Then the guards and the Burberry staffs all laughed. - My other lady friend who visited from China was so upset and terrified that she started to ask the store managers "Why? What did we do wrong?" in Chinese. - Then finally the police came to take my friend and I outside. Thoughts/questions: - Do these store managers solve problems or escalate them to an unnecessary level? - Am I in a Burberry store? Walmart has way better service. - Are these the people Burberry wants to hire? - Do you have to exercise your right to refuse the service to anyone anytime you like? Did I do anything that offends you? - Do you think it's ok to give a double middle finger to 2 ladies shopping at your over-priced and falsely marketed as an upscale store? A few days later, I received a letter from the Burberry Brand Protection department signed by the head of this department. It stated that we are being banned from all Burberry stores including the online stores. The reason they think we are not purchasing for personal use. Not sure how they came up with that decision because they didn't give any details. Two of us were trying to buy 4 jackets total. Why is that so complicated? Oh well, we are pretty sure not going to buy anymore Burberry products and will tell all of our friends and family and the world about it. I really hope Yelp will not delete this review. I almost didn't go because of the yelp reviews, but glad I disregarded them and went anyway. Maybe things have changed as many reviews are a little old? I have now been there twice and had fantastic experiences with this outlet. Asst. Mgr. Joe went above and beyond, while Cliff, Angelica and staff were super nice and helpful when I was in the store. The first time the floor staff was almost too helpful as you need a little space and time when buying a $1,000 bag, but that is the only complaint I have. I just told them I needed a little time to think about it and I had my zone. Otherwise they were as respectful and helpful as could be. Horrible service for a high-end store. My wife was in the store to shop, and I asked the security to let me in as I was in another store. He refused to let me in and asked me to wait in line. Is this a service for any store whose their customer is number one. I complained to a store manager, and she also refused to let me in. Is this how you manage the store? Terrible customer services! Worst experience I have ever had! I bought one jacket and found out it was on sale two weeks later, and I decided to repurchase and return it with my old receipt. The lady name Nicolette(she is the manager) refused to do so, we were asking her what is the reason why she cannot do it since it's the exactly same item with same bar code from the receipt. She was telling us there is some information from their system that they cannot share with us which make it unacceptable to return the exactly same jacket with my old receipt. Actually, one of the other sales was telling me she was lying, she can definitely do it but she refused to do it based on so called "our policy". We explained to her that It will take me two hours to drive back to Livermore and make another return. However, she still insist we need to bring back the original jacket even though it's identical. I buy a lot of nice things for myself because I work my ass off and today I just really wanted to spoil myself with another scarf from Burberry. I didn't intend to go to an outlet because I assumed that they'll have limitations of scarves Im looking for but since I was already at Livermore, whyyyy not? When I walked in, the sales associates were talking amongst themselves... Typical for an outlet. I found the scarf that I wanted so I looked up and asked the chubbier woman SA if they had another scarf in the color I picked out. She brushed off my question, had her hands in her pockets (which is totally unprofessional) and said no. So I asked oh so you guys don't have anything in those drawers? And with an attitude she quickly responded, "whatever is on the rack is on the rack." Then walks away immediately still with both hands in her pockets. The smile on my face turned into eyes rolling reaaaaal quick! She spent less than 30 seconds with me. The male SA/Cashier saw her "helping" me and had the audacity to ask me if anyone "helped" me today. With an attitude, I said no, even though he thought I was going to tell him yes... What? You think with "customer service" like that, I'm going to allow her to make commission off my purchase? BITCH PLEASE! The problem with some SAs (not only outlets but high end stores like LV & Chanel) is that they think they have the right to be snobby because they work there. You know, I work hard for my money and should no one ever look down on me thinking I can't afford what Im looking at especially if I decided not to dress up & am not showing off everything I own in my closet to make myself look "high end." I've been to many Burberries and this one is by far the worst. The selection might be okay, but the service is horrifying. For the record, I have been to this location at least 10 times, and NEVER ONCE have I been ever greeted. I've bought something almost everytime I've been here but have never ever been helped out at the store. I even enter the store and they would just greet the person behind me. Why? Must be because I'm asian or i'm not dressed snooty tooty, but at least I BUY the stuff here. The last time I decided to address it with the cashier, and pretty much gave a half ass apology. I pretty much emailed them and told them about the stereotyping issue I have here and how they should greet EACH and every one of their customers but got a generic robotic response from their floor supervisor. She even thought that I wanted to be offered something but could not. Honestly I'm not looking for anything other than respect and a phone apology. While in the Bay Area, a friend wanted to visit the new outlets. I was skeptical as most outlets are filled with crazy bargain shoppers and old merchandise that needed to be discounted to even sell. Livermore was a pleasant surprise. I walked into the Burberry store that was beautiful, styled almost exactly as the full-price stores. There were plenty of sales people in the store attempting to help as many customers as possible. At this time, there were a lot of foreigners in the store so I heard all different languages. I went to the men's side and was assisted by very nice woman. She helped me find a slim fitting suit and then added on a shirt and tie that went with it. Surprisingly, it was not the signature check which was great because I hate excessive logos. I also got a great leather handbag and scarves for some gifts. While ringing up, the cashier was nice but some of the other customers were extremely rude. The manager was called over and attempted to help resolve the issue but the customer became even worse. I was delighted to have some great Burberry items at a discount. Most likely, I will continue to shop the full price to avoid the crazy, penny pinching bargain shoppers lol, but wouldn't mind returning early in the morning before those people arrive. read more
