Your bubble girl reviewer (peanut, tree nut, and seafood allergy) did not have an allergic reaction here. But always tell the staff about any allergies! This is my husband's regular pizza spot when he charges our tesla during lunch. So if you have a tesla, it's a great place to eat while waiting! We got to meet the cook, but my husband normally has Mona and Maricel help him and always talks about how nice they are too. I got the Pesty Chicken (White) slice and the pesto didn't have pine nuts!! The cook was kind enough to grab the pesto ingredients for me, but I suggest if you have a nut allergy to always double check, just in case they ever change it. It's definitely going to be my go to pizza when I come back. Solid slice of NY style pizza; thin crust with a good crunch to the crust and not flimsy where all the toppings slide right off. I loved that they drizzled a healthy amount of ricotta cheese and pesto on top. The chicken was good, not too over cooked. Size is about as big as my husband's head. It's a pizza by the slice, so they will take it from the case and reheat it. But you can also order 16'' or 18'' pies. Good for quick bites. Looked clean, no flies in the case as far as I saw. They do have a slightly wider selection of food like salads, appetizers, and dessert. There are some seats inside, five tables inside and a high top table along the window with tall chairs. Looks like there's some outside seating that they can set up, but it wasn't so busy on a Monday afternoon. Strong in flavor and sugar amount, which I like :D awaiting on our "Christmas" pizza, which seems really appealing on the display, especially because of that thin crust. It is located in a shopping mall behind Carl's Jr. We didn't expect much when we went inside, however the lady was really nice. The place is small and has five small tables and a "bar" under the windows to seat at. The walls have pictures of Soprano's characters and signs. It is a quaint place as well as welcoming! We ordered a medium pizza and buffalo wings, the lady was sweet enough to make it a large pizza - we ordered the Pauly Walnuts which was topped with pepperoni, green bell peppers , purple onions, sausage and cheese . It's a thin crust pizza but it is very tasty and the toppings added a lot of flavor. I enjoyed the small town feeling of this place because unlike the chain shops this one catered to the customers ... it is World Cup Soccer time and the lady offered to put on the tv which was very thoughtful ! I had to organize a lunch for a colleague who is leaving my organization and they are a huge fan of Pauly's sooooo....I ended up ordering from them for delivery for today. I called a few days in advance to place my order and spoke with a lovely woman named Velma. I had it on my calendar to call again today to make sure the order was in, but Mona beat me to it (Mona is Pauly's wife and runs the show)! Mona called me today early in the morning to confirm and continued to communicate with me as we neared the delivery time. Lo and behold, Pauly was the delivery person! I ordered seven pizzas. When my boss saw how many I ordered, he thought it was far too many. It wasn't. It wasn't because that's just how yummy Pauly's pizza is! Although I love the fast in and out service , and always support local businesses, I am so sick of these added fees on my bill. It's not only that they don't have it advertised or on the menu. It's just a day go out of their way to explain that they have a cheap lunch processability but really in the end of it. It's not any cheaper than anywhere else. Two slices in a canned Coca-Cola should not cost $15. You can go and Downtown Carlsbad have the same exact pizza and it be eight dollars. So not only do the price couch at hidden fees. They don't even fully eat up your pizza anymore. I ordered a few pizzas for my Galentine's Pizza Party and let me tell you, the flavors were on point! We tried the 16" Pauly Walnuts, the 16" Mikey Show, and the 16" Spinage a Trois. Starting with the Pauly Walnuts--pepperoni, sausage, bacon, fresh mushrooms, red onion, green peppers, and black olives. This pizza was loaded with toppings, and the variety of flavors was great, though it was a little strange that we didn't get any walnuts despite the name! The bacon and sausage were particularly delicious, adding a nice savory balance to the vegetables. The Mikey Show was another good one. It had pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, and jalapenos on a red pie. The ricotta was creamy and a perfect contrast to the heat from the jalapenos. This one will hit the spot if you're a fan of a little spice with a cheesy twist. However, my favorite by far was the Spinage a Trois. The spinach, sausage, meatballs, and ricotta on a red pie was a chef's kiss! The ricotta paired with the spinach was a winning combination, and the sausage and meatballs gave it that meaty, hearty touch that I loved. This was my top pick of the three. In terms of sizing, I'm still debating whether the 16-inch or 18-inch is the better deal. Both were delicious, but the 16-inch was the right amount for our group. If you're feeding a larger crowd, maybe the 18-inch would give you more bang for your buck, but it's hard to say for sure without a direct side-by-side comparison. One thing that was a little odd was that the system didn't give us the option to add the packet of cheese and chili pepper, which I've seen on other orders. That would've been a nice touch to sprinkle on top for extra flavor. I also really wanted to try their house marinara sauce (I've heard good things!) and their ranch since we're the "ranch with pizza" type of girl. About 30-45 mins after placing the order, I received a call asking if I could come earlier because they wanted to close early. I was surprised and had to scramble to get someone to cover for me so I could pick up food about 2 hours earlier. When I arrived the cook was standing outside and hadn't even made my order! No apology. I had to wait 20 mins. Food was OK, too much dough. I like supporting small businesses, but sometimes adjusting my schedule to accommodate theirs makes it difficult.
