Stopped in because there was a food truck my husband and I wanted to check out, stayed for a couple beers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This dog friendly brewery gives has a fair amount of space to sit and enjoy a brew, but be warned - it's popular and can get crowded very quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed the variety of beers available here. This place has grown so much! I remember when it first opened and getting off the ground. Now. you drive by and it's packed. There is a different food truck there almost everyday. I've been to the location in Carlsbad so when I saw this one I had to stop by. I looked at some pics on Yelp and saw everything is pretty much outside. I started thinking dang it's going to be super hot out there! So I get there about 3:45 and I was very surprised to see there's tons of shade which makes it about 15 degrees cooler. That alone made me stay a little longer to buy more drinks so good job Burgeon on making it nice and cool. My favorite beer from here is the Juice Press which is a very delicious hazy. They have a very nice selection of beers and some little snacks like flavored popcorn. The bartender was very cool with a great attitude I didn't get his name. Parking seems to be a little tight unless there is a secret parking lot. Oh this location is right next door to a feed store and you can't park in their parking lot. We love this little spot with one exception...there's only one restroom! I'm not sure how they even get away with that with health codes. On a Friday evening it's packed to the gills but the single bathroom with a bunch of drinkers and people eating food truck food can be problematic. I try to go early for that very reason. God forbid you need a restroom as there's usually a line awkwardly through the middle of the tiny bar area. I keep hoping with their great success that they will rectify this somehow, I know they're limited with space but even porta potty's would be better than nothing. Aside from that, place is great and the locals all love it. I usually see the same people there and everyone is very friendly. Hope to see some creative solution to the restroom sitch. read more

I love the new addition to the Escondido beer scene. The customer service is amazing. They know their beer! They were friendly, kept the location clean and sanitized and had ample outdoor seating. The food truck was nice as well. They offer growlers to go and some bottles as well as tasters and pints to stay. They will get a crowler machine soon too! I was excited to see they offer more than just IPA's, although they do have some amazing ones. We tried the Brown, Kiwi, Pilsner, and both Stouts. All were amazing. Currently they are open a on more than just the weekend so keep an eye on the schedule. For good beer that you can feel good about supporting, this is the place! read more

I can't say enough great things about this place. The community of regulars it attracts is amazing; it's always full of good humans. Speaking of good humans, Joey is the best of the best and one of our favorite people to ever pour a brew. The beer selection is fairly generous in both type and number of brews on tap, especially for the size of this place, and every single one is a winner. The environment is no-frills and outdoor-only but they have good shade on a hot day and patio heaters when it's cold, and there's always a game on TV. Another great thing about this spot is the incredible food vendor lineup it has attracted to Escondido, which has really been lacking in that department for a long time. read more

Tucked in across from the tire shop and next to the tow yard it would be easy to miss if not for the ever present crowd on the patio slugging cold pints of delicious beer. The crew working is always inviting and helpful and goes out of their way to make sure you can find a style you like. The brewery itself is very tiny, however the seating from the adjacent pet food store helps it out. Seating is a little hard to have with such a tiny place, but the ambience makes up for it. Servers are friendly, attentive and fast. The beer is nice, I used to always buy their stuff packs at liquor stores. Most of their options are citrus based though they do have a good range of styles. The beer comes down easy. Good stop to bring a group of friends. The ambience encourages groups more-so. $7 pints are a good thing! There does seem to be food trucks when we go but it would be nice to have some information on their website which says when they will be there and what food truck it's going to be so that we know for sure there will be food. This little beer spot is off of a main industrial road in Escondido. They've got high tops and low tables and TONS of puppos to ogle (it's a dog friendly establishment).
