Outstanding burgers, they are efficient at moving you through the line. There always busy but you never have to wait long. So worth it

Went here today for dinner, wait was terrible and service was so RUDE. Tables were filthy. Tried to place an order online and it did not go through. Waited on line to place an order with a cashier and the wait was outrageous. Poor customer service is an understatement. Cashier walked away when I stated that I had been waiting 30 min for one burger. Management was rude as well. Burgers are average and not worth the poor service. Don't waste your time. I was NEVER quoted a wait time by your cashier. When I inquired she shrugged her shoulders, told me that it was busy and walked away from the register. Your son was RUDE. When I told him so, he said THANK YOU in that snotty teenage tone and your manager looked surprised by his comment. No one in your business ever said I'm sorry that it is taking a long time. 1/4 of your tables were empty and There was no line. Kindness and understanding is a hallmark of customer service. I understand it's just a burger joint, but you want your customers to have a positive experience. To be clear, I have only made one other review on Yelp in 10 years. I do NOT go around bashing businesses. But, I could not let this pass. And your response says enough, blaming the customer for your poor service is not a good business practice. This will be my last post. I ordered that meal for my 12 year old son that just had ACL and meniscus surgery 5 days prior that could not come into your restaurant. I was upset at the Wait since I had left him at home. All he wanted was a burger from your establishment. Would you like to see a pic of him lying in bed with a brace on or perhaps the discharge papers from The hospital? Please remember that you do not know what is going on in your customers lives and a little basic customer service goes a long way. read more

Been meaning to try this place and glad we did! I tried the jack Daniels frizzly onion burger. Delish. My only complaint - the burger should be better portioned for size of the bun! Can use another 2-3 ozs of burger, I took the filling out of the bun to compensate :-)). Kids meal is an excellent value w real chicken tenders and a delicious batter. The fries and onion rings rock. My son just slurped down a chocolate shake in record time so I guess it was fantastic. read more

A lot of restaurants I go to are good, but every once in a while they have an off day. Burger 25 is not one of those restaurants. The food is consistently AMAZING, despite the time of day or the volume of their orders. All of the staff are incredible individuals who not only provide outstanding customer service, but care about their community as well. Amid the COVID-19 Crisis, I have seen these employees working hard to fill orders non stop as they continue to offer their full menu without a decrease in quality. All of the employees are taking individual measures to keep themselves and customers safe and the owners have set up social distancing measures such as a plexiglass shield between customers and staff, 6ft markings on the floor and an isolated space for their employees to take breaks during their long hours. THANK YOU for serving the essential workers out on the front lines! Oh yeah, the food... the burgers are the best I've found and they are an extremely good value for the price. The BAD burger is my go to, but I make sure to try the Burger of The Month each month and I haven't been disappointed in the creative variety of toppings including local tie ins. You'll see they have been rated the best burger in NJ, but what about the fries? You will not find better French fries than the ones at Burger 25 and you will always receive a generous amount paired with their home made garlic ranch. Don't forget to take home a bottle. The worst part of this experience was having to break my diet and not feeling guilty about it. I have never come across such an abundant variety of burgers. I won't even begin to discuss the milkshakes, let's just say they were "bussin" which means they were delicious! Come to this place with high expectations and you will still be blown away. I Place an order the burger came cold, no onions as per my request, no avocado and no garlic sauce with the fries. Send a message by messenger and some one i guess the manager reply to me being rude and telling me to not come back! So I gave this place another try. And I would like to retract my previous review. The burger was really good. The fries were also amazing. Pork roll on fries, genius. The staff was also very friendly despite being busy. Also my dog loved the doggie burgers. Got her two and they were gone in seconds. So no complaints from her either. Wether your heading towards seaside or about to hop on the parkway cause you were just visiting. You should definitely make the pit stop and grab a bite. Extremely disappointed. We've come here multiple times at the first location. This is our second time at the new location. The staff clearly didn't want to be bothered by our presence. Not a single smile or have a nice day. We subbed ranch (for a cost) on our fries, it was forgotten. Went in to get it. Didn't get an apology or have a nice day. We finally tried this place I had the Bison burger and onion rings. My wife had regular burger and fries with one of their dips. Everything was amazing. We ordered ahead, I was in about in 2 minutes despite a lot of folks standing in line or waiting for their orders. My only complaint? I ordered a milkshake. I was handed my bag of items, got home. I went here tonight with friends, it was packed. I went with the brewhouse burger. It was delicious I loved the pretzel bun and everything. Also got a side salad and a drink. Pricing wasn't bad, and service was okay. Definitely gotta come back and try more of the burgers. read more

We had just seen a very rare bird for this area at Barnegat Lighthouse. A Black Guillemot, a bird from the Arctic caused quite a bit of excitement in the area. After seeing it, and because Long Beach Island has limited eats at this time of year, we drove up the Parkway and tried our luck at exit 80. 25 Burgers has an extensive menu. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, fries and rings. My son ordered a burger, nashville hot wings and cajun fries and I had a crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings. Order up front. A friendly employee brings the food to your table. Although the burger was cooked past dead, my son thought it was good thanks to the good onion roll and toppings. The wings were tasty but mild, certainly not Nashville hot. My chicken sandwich was very good. A big piece of crispy breast meat on a good roll that actually did not fall apart while I ate it. Rings and fries were standard issue but very good. What pushes this joint to four stars is the magnificent veggie burger. Brought one home for my wife. Wish I took a picture of it. A huge affair, my wife, a petite gal, demolished it in one sitting. It was that good. So, a surprisingly good crunch here in Toms River. read more

Visit: Saturday March 5th, 2021 - approx 4pm ... Food was 5 star - ordering was 5 star the server was miserable, had a bad attitude and dropped the food on my table and pushed it across the table. Would have given 5 stars but took 3 off due to the miserable rude server. If my family was not with me, would have made her take the food back and serve it the way she should not like a miserable sour faced teen animal. I owe these folks an update. Sevaral years ago, I reviewed Burger 25 unfavorably, and when a new owner took over, he asked me to come by and check it out. I said I would, but didn't until just recently. You can't change the laws of geometry or physics, and the parking situation is still abysmal. Even after the Bennys went home, I still had to parallel park on a side street. No changing that, though. There's nothing to change except the location. On returning, more than once, I haven't really found that much changed at all. Everything tastes the same as I remember it, and the salad dressing/sauce they give you with the fries still isn't overly complimentary toward them. If you order them with cheese, it's still the same institutional cup of yellow goo you'd get with pretzel nuggets at a movie theater. The wait is still very long, the lettuce is still shredded which makes it soggy and causes everything between the buns to slide around or out, creating a giant mess. The toothpick doesn't overly help, but it's a good thought. One of the things I take issue with here is that there is zero char flavor to the burgers. I guess they're cooked on a flat top, because if they aren't, there isn't even a hint of flame that comes through. Anyway, it's a clean establishment, and a quality product that is reasonably priced, but I'm not crazy about it. That's obviously more about me than them, and I can't take issue with the fact that they do exactly what they do as well as they can. read more
