They have quite the selection of burgers ! My daughter ordered the Mac daddy we all tried it, creamy and tangy she usually sticks to the classic cheeseburger but absolutely loved this one. I ordered the frisky whisky, it was delicious I put their garlic ranch on it, with the onion straws it was a little dry but the ranch helped. My husband ordered the B.A.D. Great burger and great shakes. The burger selection is varied. I never get the same one and they are always great. This isn't your chain burger place. This is an original. They also have a great fry selection and skip the ketchup. Their homemade dipping sauce is so much better. The shakes are just as good with four different specialty shakes every month. I love burger 25. I have been ordering from them for about 3 years now. They have always been consistent. Today was the first time I ordered a kids meal and I am super impressed by the portion size and for only $6. I ordered chicken fingers and I chose fries as the side (you can pick a go-girt) and it comes with a large apple juice that is two days worth portion of juice for my daughter. Getting them delivered is always mildly disappointing because they lose heat and get soggy in transit. I ordered here for the first time because people rave about the place. I'm not remotely impressed and won't be ordering again. Granted it was delivered and that's probably why it's stone cold and the fries are soggy. That's the reason I gave 3 stars and not the two it really deserves. They should have packed the order properly for delivery and did not. There was so much batter on the onion rings that it was hard to eat them and you can't taste onion. The fried pickles were floppy and soggy and the coating was falling off. And the burger was dry and tastes likes it's a frozen patty from Costco. Either they're cutting corners because of Covid or the recent move made them too big for their britches. Either way I'm not giving them my business again. It's a shame because I really wanted it to be good but it's just mediocre. read more

It's been a while since I've eaten here but I have to leave a review considering how it's mainstream for people to leave bad reviews with no explanation. My last order from the new location (which is a new clean, sleek, modern look) was a BTO Mushroom Cheddar Burger. And although it wasn't "exactly" what I ordered, it was exactly what I was craving. My fiancé ordered something similar and not only was her meal correct, the lovely staff assured us that every request we made was fulfilled, and they were. The ranch (which is loved and coveted by nearly all Toms River residents) is the best ranch I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. We buy 2 bottles every time we come in and we go through them in a month! There's only two of us! I personally have been visiting Burger 25 for about 4 years (I think) and every time I visit I am greeted by a staff that not only cares about the customer, but the business they keep alive. I think the owner would agree with me when I say if it wasn't for the staff then this restaurant would just be a normal burger joint. I don't get a craving for burgers very often but I wanted a good burger, badly. So the family and I went on Yelp to see if there were any burger places that we hadn't tried with great reviews. We found out that Burger 25 in Toms River had great reviews. My son and daughter-in-law have a four year old who is an extremely picky eater and we would have to stop at McDonalds to get him a happy meal in order to keep him occupied while we ate. There was no problem bringing the happy meal into Burger 25 (a huge plus!). I was expecting a more restaurant-style place and this was set up like a typical fast food place, but no big deal. I wish they had paper menus to make the food decision easier, but their menu was posted over the top of the counter area and because they have such a large choice of selections it was difficult to read the menu items. Other things such as milk shakes and hot dogs were on a menu board that was on the wall, but was lower on the wall and to the side making it hard to see because other customers in line and the counter workers blocked the view. Also, they had some specialty items on blackboards outside the counter and to the side near the condiments. The problem there was that a couple of people were standing in front of the boards, but so close to them that they were wiping the chalk off the boards because they were rubbing against them. They were there for quite a while, in fact the whole 15 or so minutes it took for our food to come out, and then some more time while we were tasting the fries and onion rings and taking the first bites of our burgers. I noticed there wasn't salt and pepper on the table and looked around the condiment area and didn't see any. I casually mentioned this to my family and my daughter-in-law went over to the area and had to ask the two people who were having the conversation if she could get to the salt and pepper, which they had been blocking the whole time. For some reason I had the feeling that they may have had something to do with the restaurant, co-owners maybe? Now for the food part... the fries and onion rings were great, and the dipping sauce was phenomenal! The burgers were very good. My son got one with corned beef on it (it was St. Patrick's Day), which he was head over heels about. My daughter-in-law had a chicken sandwich that she loved. I had a bacon cheeseburger with sautéed onions that was very good. The only problem with the food is that it seemed like there was too much bun for the sandwiches. All in all it was about the food and we were all very happy with our experience. I would definitely recommend Burger 25. read more
