Went to Burger 25 after a co-workers recommendation. Got the cereal killer milkshake which was delightfully mixed vanilla bean shake with fruity pebbles and cereal toppings. The French Onion Soup Burger was superb, it had a crouton and cheese melted atop the caramelized onion and burger just like the soup and was placed on an onion brioche roll. The Penne Ala Vodka Burger was sub-par, the pasta was a bit soggy and the whole burger was just blahh. The Boardwalk Disco Fries were really good, but I wouldn't consider them "Boardwalk Fries" as they weren't fresh cut but more coated and seasoned fries. (Had 2 chocolate and 1 Pina colada shakes) Now on to the very disappointing food ordered a burger with sautéed onions lettuce tomato and bacon- the patty was small compared with the oversized stale bun the bacon rubbery and cold the overall taste well let's just say over half of the burger went in the trash my wife ordered a chicken sandwich again stale big bun with a big piece of flatten breaded chicken half of that my wife ate and most of it like a chicken tender because she did not like the bread, 2 of my kids had chicken tenders and 1 had the mozzarella sticks they did not like there order as well I tried the chicken tenders they are average not bad bad not something to brag about. They aren't lying when they say the best burgers in NJ. As a west coast girl moved east, I was not disappointed in finding out about this treasure! The brew house burger was amazing with the beer cheese and pretzel bun, and the frisky whiskey was also incredibly tasty! We tried both the boardwalk fries and the Buffalo hot fries, which were my personal favorite. You definitely could share the fries as they are very well sized. Lastly, their shakes were the best shakes we've ever had! My husband and I had not done any indoor dining since March 2020, We were very pleased with this being our first experience. The receptionist in our hotel recommended this place and the minute she said a Penne Vodka Burger I knew I had to try this place!! My boyfriend and I ordered to go he got the Breakfast All Day Burger and I got the Penne Vodka Burger obviously lol!! We each also got cheese fries and a super shake which was so yummy!! I got the Piña Colada and he got the Key Lime Pie both were delicious!! The girl that took our order was super sweet and nice and the place looks really cool, we regret not staying there and eating. Came here today and got a great meal! I had the frisky whisky burger which was a burger with onions and bacon and jack Daniels. It was delicious! Also had the shake of the month which was a peanut butter Nutella shake which was also great. It was a great combination of chocolate and peanuts butter and the Nutella really added something without the shake being too much. We did have to wait about 40 minutes for our meal because it was a little crowded but the wait was worth it. Definitely will make the trip back here again! read more

Seemed to be more bread and fixings then beef on the burger. My family had the bison burger, Mac n cheese burger, and a chicken sandwich. Also shared a regular fri and a monster fri. Great food and an efficiently run place every time! Every month Burger 25 has new milkshake specials. It really keeps customers coming back for more. Last month they had a pride shake that was strawberry cake batter with pieces of rainbow cake on top. Delicious. Also recommend their boardwalk fries on the side of your burger/sandwich. Could just be me and my girlfriend, but I'm physically incapable of finishing a burger 25 burger in 1 sitting. Just one bite starts to fill me up, and if I was to finish the burger in 1 sitting, (which I have) it makes me sick to my stomach and even eating like 3/4 of the burger can do it to me. I've eaten here multiple times to the same result hoping maybe it was just a one time thing but it's not. For context, I can eat like 1200 calories in one sitting (and I'm a skinny guy!!). But eating half of any burger on their menu feels like eating your daily calorie intake of 2000. There are however things that save this place. Firstly, while absurdly over filling, the burgers actually taste pretty good, that being if you can take more than like 6 bites without stomach discomfort. The fries are pretty good and the wings are like 7/10 (slightly above average). This place also has a large variety of sides for different taste palates which is great. Overall I would say the place isn't bad however it has a looming problem that every time (about 4 or 5) me and my girlfriend have ate here, we get a stomach discomfort around half way through the burger which halts us from eating. The only feeling I could equate the burger to like a thanks giving dinner and 3/4 of the burger equals 3 plates of food and the rest is like the thanks giving leftovers.
