Yet again, another place that proves many of the best burger spots in Los Angeles are the kind of places you wouldn't go unless you know. I wouldn't have unless I yelped and lucked into our lunch. Fantastic flavor in their smash burgers. I had the Oklahoma and it was excellent. Apparently theirs are Australian wagyu beef burgers. Definitely a must try. The buns are sweet Hawaiian rolls, good but perhaps my only criticism, and solely because I prefer a good potato bun. Fries were super crispy and well seasoned. Really great service. Update on my previous review for Burger 3000. I had mentioned that the only con was that it was too far from us. Well, not anymore! They've now opened not just one, but two locations closer to our home, and we're so excited. Now we can visit more often to enjoy our favorite smash burger place. Also, I have to mention the meat quality, it's truly top-tier wagyu. It feels great after eating, not heavy or greasy like many other burgers. You can really tell the difference in quality. I drove past this place so many times, and finally decided to stop. Of course... it had a really long line and you could see into the kitchen. They looked very very busy. very appreciative to hayle who double checked my order and made sure that we had everything that we needed. This was a really good burger and a great spot. The packaging was super cute and the customer service was 10/10. Burger was pretty good and so were the cheese fries. My favorite thing about this place is the hours. I'm out pretty late most days and then if I need to get food have to subject myself to McDonald's or something awful. The fact that they are open so late during the week and weekends is the best. I'll definitely stop by here before I head into a late night McDonald's/Jack in the crack run. It's not the best smash burger I've had but it's really good. The Australian wagyu patties is definitely a draw that gets people in, but I've eaten a lot of wagyu and also cook, you'd have no clue this is Wagyu. And that's not their fault necessarily. Anytime you're smashing meat that thin all the juice and fat is going to run out so you can't really tell it's Wagyu at all. It's a really good spot and a good burger overall. read more

Ok whatever, got my food, hit the streets back home less than 1 mile away. The Oklahoma burger: 2 smashed meat patties with cheese, pickles, sauce, and grilled onions Meat beast fries: meat and cheese on top of fries. The burger was just okay. I was looking for more of a good balance between the smashed patty and cook, but it honestly was on the burnt side. Maybe just a little too overcooked? The grilled onions were great. I get the concept of the overflowing meat on the buns. But it was really a combination of under/overwhelming. Maybe I was looking for more balance. Just the right amount oozey gooey cheese, sauce, crunch, crisp and a good balance of beef flavor. But it just missed the mark for me. The fries, overcooked, a bit bland, too dry under the meat patty. Definitely missed the mark and was missing something. For the price, time, and overall, it wasn't bad, I might give them another try if it's late and I'm looking to satisfy a burger craving. I'll start with the location. Parking is very limited. Their menu is bright, easy to read on a digital screen outside. Service is excellent. They acknowledge and greet you right away. The pricing in my opinion, for what you get is overpriced. The tip options start at 22% I adjusted it right away. Be aware before you close out that bill. Another important thing to note is this establishment has no restrooms for guests. That automatically will lose a star for me. Outdoor seating was the only option this evening and they had only two outside heaters working when we dined here. Not nearly enough for the space people are eating. I had the standard cheese burger. The patty portion was the smallest I've ever ate in my life. It was tasty and good. But portion size is too small. Their fries were good but they were not hot. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were really good. As tough as it is for me to say this. I can't recommend this place to anyone.
