We went on a Saturday at 6pm without joining the waitlist as yelp said we didn't need to. Our experience vs recent yelp reviews was overall pretty damn positive. The only thing that is true that every other review mentions is yes they add auto gratuity so when you get your check the option is there to still add a tip which if you don't pay attention can lead to you giving a 25%+ tip without realizing it. The service we had was fast, I still don't know who our server was because about 6 different people kept asking us if we needed anything. Our tablet worked fine and we were able to order everything from it without having it malfunctioning or not working as some others have stated. One odd thing to mention is the soda cup is about 2x as big as the water cup. The sushi itself tasted good, however my girlfriend and I try to get our moneys worth so we normally only pick nigiri and the standard apps, and avoid any kind of rolls. Our take is on the carpaccio, seared salmon, tuna, and escolar, and fresh water eel. All the nigiri we had weren't "fishy" or tasted not fresh or whatever some of the other reviews mentioned but again we didn't have any of the items other people have complained about. So if you're looking for an AYCE sushi place and are tryna get your moneys worth I'd say it's a good place to go.

When we arrived, it was packed and we were told there would be about a 20 minute wait after signing in, which we were fine with. Surprisingly, we were seated within about 5 minutes. Our waiter was amazing very attentive and on top of everything. We used to enjoy the food, but previous visits were plagued by incorrect orders because staff repeatedly chose not to write anything down. Today, my husband found a hair fried into the batter of his popcorn lobster roll. It was wrapped around the piece of "lobster," making it clear the hair was there during preparation--not something that fell onto the food afterward. It also raises concerns about basic food safety practices, including whether proper hair restraints were being used by whoever prepared the meal. He quietly brought it to the staff's attention, and they simply took the plate away. No apology. No follow-up. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the contaminated roll. We mentioned it again when paying and, again, received no apology and no offer to remove the charge. Mistakes can happen. What shouldn't happen is dismissing a legitimate food safety concern and charging customers for contaminated food without so much as an apology.

The crazy thing is that is also a Mexican restaurant because I saw in the menu a bunch of Mexican dishes. This place is a 10/10.
