Great burger I heard the chicken sandwich was very good also. Friendly sports bar and service was wonderful. We enjoyed.

We visited for brunch and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The restaurant has a, hidden-away feel, yet offers plenty of seating. The service was exceptional, and every dish was delicious. An absolute recommendation!

The smell of fried onions while are walking on Michigan Ave is sure to lure you in . The burgers are pretty decent , service is good and burgers are fine. We like to go there on lazy day but a lot of bears fans love it here

Excellent service from Kennedy! She gave us great recommendations and was very attentive and kind. Really cool sports bar! Very spacious and lots of seating options. Fun and relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious! The award winning chili is so good! The brisket in it is perfect. I wasn't in the mood for alcohol or caffeine but luckily they had juice options too and I loved the peach nectar they offer. I also really enjoyed the Parmesan truffle fries. When it's warm outside, they open the big windows and it's so lovely. My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger. They offer brunch on the weekends and different happy hour options Monday thru Thursday. I look forward to returning and trying more things.

I was on the city for the first time, running the Chicago marathon. I was in the mood for a burger, and came across Burger Bar. It has dive bar vibes, but was clean and friendly. I have food allergies and the waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with my choosing something I could eat. One big thing I loved, as someone who is a pickle lover, I LOVED that my burger had a good amount of pickles and they were large spears. I've never seen a burger do this, and it was delicious. If I'm ever back in the city, I will certainly be back here.

The food was insanely good. It's easily a Top 3 burger my husband and I have had. The server Luke R. was great, busy but attentive. The owner came by to check on us and delivered our food himself to help busy staff. They played music from a group playing a concert at Soldier Field nearby which made their customers attending very happy. Great music! Think it was BTS. Cannot recommend this place enough.

I mean, it's in the name. Burger bar, had to come here and try a couple of burgers. They're pretty solid in size, definitely a mouthful. The fries are done well also, can't go wrong with a neighbor hood burger joint. They offer other items such as wings, ribs, and salad. I mostly stopped by for the burger and to catch the game.

Very very solid burgers! If you're feeling a loaded burger cooked how you want.. go here. We were starving so eating this put us in heaven. Everything about the burger was good that as I write this review makes me want to order one haha The bar itself is a pretty nice size but they do get busy with how good they are so be mindful of that before going. But go!

Walked right to this place as soon as I checked in. I was desperately craving a juicy burger. This time I decide to go for the Wild Bill burger ever which was a juicy bison, patty stacked with tomato chutney, and delicious goat cheese. This burger has a slight sweetness to it, which wasn't bad. Love the Berger and would definitely have it again. This time of course I added fries which were absolutely delicious. Best burger in town (and possibly the best in the West Coast/Midwest combined)

Amazing burgers and great service. Came right before closing and they were wonderful. Server Kevin was wonderful.

Here at the Burger Bar. I haven't been here in probably over 2 years.. this time, I come in and asked to use the restroom before I ordered, just being a lady. ANYWAY, I go to the restroom room and the owner is staring me down as I walk away from the host stand. The owner must've sent the host, who is also black to the restroom to check on me as she freshened up the restroom and treated me as if I was in the way while I was standing in the mirror. I walked out of the restroom and sat at the bar trying to pay for my parking. Just having a personal issue under review before I ordered... still being starred down by the owner. The first time I met him he didn't seem racist but there's a lot going on in our country right now.. SO, unless you want to be uncomfortable with your black ***, skip this place. You will feel like eyes are on you the whole time (there are). The bartender was impatient with me and did not have any drink suggestions, demonstrating poor hospitality. I ordered a tequila.. the margarita is too sour.. it tastes like the garnishes are expired or the sour mix is spoiled. I definitely sent it back for straight tequila. It's in Michigan avenue but it gave neighbor bar. The counter top was very sticky. One of my largest pet peeves. My food was served but I did not get utensils. I wanted plastic ones anyway which took maybe 15 minutes to me to get. Food.. the fries were decent but the impossible burger was very mediocre. Anyway, forget this place, I'll never come back. Save your money. And to the owners, count your day.

Came by and it was almost a full house but we were lucky enough to catch 3 seats at the bar. Guy behind the bar was cool as hell and took good care of us the whole time we were there. TVs were all in the right places to watch more games which was awesome! We shared a couple orders of BBQ and garlic parmesean wings as well as a large tin crust pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pizza and garlic parm wings were really good, but those BBQ wings were definitely the star of the show for me. Im like whats in that sauce? crack?? Damn!!! Washed it all down with some very good mezcal margaritas. Lively place where you can bring friends, dates or roll solo. I plan to visit this joint more!

Wasn't too busy as there wasn't a prominent sports event going on at the moment but still had adequate staff and patrons. Our bartender was cool, no complaints about the service whatsoever. They did not have physical menus, had QR codes. I like how they put the cook time for their pizzas, definitely a good heads up as I was hungry NOW and ain't have time to wait so I didn't order. Their menu is pretty extensive, lots of options. I ordered the Rum Punch (7.9/10), which was not bad at all, just which the bartender mixed it a little more but other than that not a bad cocktail. For the entrees, we order the Italian Beef Combo with Fries + additional Giardiniera peppers, Onions, Marinara sauce and also the Catfish Dinner. For the Italian Beef Combo, I can give it an adequate 8.0/10 rating. The Italian Sausage was charred well, Beef was cooked to good consistency, would just wish they used a different bread as it did have an after taste from being toasted I assume. Fries were pretty good though. Overall, this place was not bad at all. They had a bunch of games going so we were able to chill at the bar, enjoy a bite, and have a chill ending to our night. Pricing isn't the worst I have seen, especially in the city of Chicago, but I would look at menu before hand online. Just heads up, if wanting to split, they can split check but not by item (apparently they have to get manager to do so). Also shout out to the one worker, checked to make sure our car wasn't outside so it ain't get towed (wasn't our car btw). I like when service goes above and beyond like that to look out for the people they have. I would come back if I wanted to catch a game or event with some people.

Aside from a small service blip where our server delivered the drinks very quickly and then disappeared for a long time without taking our order, everything else went well. The onion rings may very well be house made but I'm not in love with the dipping sauces. The BBQ sauce tastes like Kraft with a shot of hot sauce and the Thousand Island is Thousand Island. The rings themselves are good. The pizza is fine. We got sausage and artichoke and while the amount of artichoke was good there was a paucity of sausage. What sausage there was was very enjoyable but too many pieces of pizza had no sausage at all. That's a problem I've encountered at more than one Chicago pizza place and it only seems to happen with sausage. I don't get it. All in all, not bad.

Amazing that fun isn't always beers and chugging. The food is actually good and can be talked about in reviews because some people actually come here to eat, which tells you how they actually have a kitchen. Believe everything is good here but we came for the beers of course. It's certainly the main product made here so why wouldn't it be important. They make more than you can believe which is impressive because there's all kinds of crowds who pass through. For sure everyone wants beer. It's $6 a pint at happy hour. Pretty great for craft beers compared to lots of places it seems. Best one we got was the Bucket Hat. This is a Belgian style witbier. Has notes of bubble gum, coriander, and orange. The food isn't an afterthought so get some of that. It's about $18 for a burger. Vegans have options. Certainly one of these is the Veggie Burger. This is an amazing thing with a spinach patty topped with chipotle tomato marmalade, cremini mushrooms, mixed greens, pickled red onions, and sweet potatoes. All on a fluffy ciabatta bun. The rest of the menu contains meaty stuff. For sure it feels like a place for the hipsters but it's pretty great for anyone. It's located at the intersection of Jackson and Wabash close to lots of fun. The brewery has food that's better than expected but many other things about this kind of stuff are typical.
