So, when you hear the name, "Burger Bar", I imagine a variety of burgers. Peanut butter, Western Bacon, The Hangover, Breakfast Burger, etc. This is not that Burger Bar. It should be called 2 Burgers. You have the option of single, double - cheese, no cheese - onion and pickle optional at no charge - bacon for an additional charge. If you're a local, Coney Island has a better burger. Burger Fi is better. It's a close tie with 5 Guys, but I think they're a smidge better. Bravas is still my go-to local burger joint. They ran out of fries, so I can't tell you about those. But running out of fries in a Burger joint is like running out of crust at a pizza joint. #fail This place will likely be successful because it's attached to a hotel with people that don't know better. And it's got a cool concept with outside ordering and seating, but it's definitely not the burger joint for locals! Side note: the Rooftop Bar is worth checking out! read more

Tried it out yesterday for the first time. Burger was great. Beef tasted fresh and the bun was soft. Fries were just ok. I think they were cooked a little too long since they are thin. Also tried the chicken tenders and they were not over-breaded and were good too. read more

Good not great. I had the burger of the month. It was the Texas Hoosier burger. It had white cheddar cheese, onion ring, and barbecue sauce. It was pretty good but nothing spectacular. The patty was fairly thin, ok flavor but it wasn't really anything special. The bun was pretty good actually, soft and tasty. I also had an order of cheese fries which were again, pretty good but nothing new or amazing. They are pretty thin fries and not extremely crispy. I would say I probably won't go back until after they slow down a bit. They were fairly busy and they were not exactly speedy. I also won't make a special trip back, because again they just didn't "Wow" me. I would say if you want a solid burger with different flavors but still executed beautifully, check out Bravas, Burgerfi, and finally Five Guys. I am so disappointed I haven't been here sooner. This place makes the best burgers in town hands down. I used to travel for work and I miss a chain burger that's not in Indiana. This reminds me of them. Cheeseburgers are on point, milkshakes are phenomenal and my boyfriend said the chicken sandwich was better than either of the two rival fast-food joints. By far the best burger place in Fort Wayne I've been to so far! You can order outside on a touch screen with nice outdoor and indoor seating I always customize my burger. The Burger Bar is located in the Hampton Inn & Suites next to the ball park. I was waiting outside with other people but there didn't seem to be anyone working at the window, so I went inside. There was only one cashier during my visit, so all the people waiting to order inside were served first before those waiting outside on the patio. You can order inside if you plan to eat on the patio, so just something to consider if you find yourself in the same situation. Make sure to check-in on Yelp so you can get free fries with your burger. There are also other promotions that will get you freebies, like free fries on Fridays, and $2 Milkshakes on Tuesdays. The September shake of the month is Carmel Apple. I tried it and really liked it. I also ordered the Crispy Chicken Tender Sandwich. It comes with sriracha mayo, but can be changed for other sauces if you prefer. I stayed with the sriracha mayo, and I'm glad I did. It went well with the chicken. My only gripe would be that I wish the chicken sandwich was one piece instead of three tenders. Keeping it all together and not falling apart was not impossible, but I still ended up with half a chicken tender slipping out of the sandwich. While the menu is limited, there are enough good options. Burger Bar kind of reminds me of a Shake Shack - great shakes, chicken, burgers, and fries. read more

Wow for all the hype surrounding the burgers and the Wagyu burger, I was left wanting... the crispy chicken sandwich was banging and I loved their house sauce which I bathed the chicken in. Four sandwiches and an order of fries weighed in at the $40 mark. We drank water from the tap. It's a little hike because they don't have their own parking lot. The bathroom is shared with the connecting hotel but well kept facility. A very small place (probably seats 30.) The chicken sandwich and sauce garners all three stars from my review. I tried Burger Bar the other day on a whim. They have walkup windows but I couldn't walk up and order. Not a big deal, maybe they are having staffing issues. I go inside to order and pay instead. It took 10 minutes of the employee and I working to together to figure out how I can pay in cash. They had chicken and a wagyu burger on the menu on their wall but neither were available. I paid 16 for one cheeseburger, on veggie burger, and fries. The floor had trash all over it. The burger was not bad, the veggie burger was better. read more

Your location has the worst customer service people in front and on the phone i have ever experienced. i ordered food last night. it was made wrong. I called up back there when i got home at like 745ish. you close at 8...The girl on the phone decided to argue with me about what was wrong w the burger. Im dude, it is all messed up and made sloppy, as politely as possible. She insisted to go thru the whole burger toppings twice. Girl on the phone told me to come back tomorrow (today) & i did come back. They said they would comp the meal or whatever. so To make it really easy for them, i got two plain cheese burgers pickle and cheese togo vs the 1veggie 1wagu burger 1fry yesterday. The girl last night gave me some attitude on the phone and said fine, We Will see ya tomorrow! Click. Im at the counter today and I asked what is the milkshake of the month is or whatever. Tiramisu. i said sure, ill take one those too. She goes and asks the back again, comes back and says, she said you have to pay separately for that. i said ok, fine thats cool. They made the shake and she finishes the previous comp order. i go to pay for the shake and Gave her a 5$ bill bc the shake is 4.75. She says oh you are short 13 cents. Im like are you serious rn? I'm like i don't have any other cash on me rn. nor do i have my card. Cashier hands me back my money. then the girl making the shake is like, oh i haven't had breakfast yet! have you? to the girl working the counter. All the reviews on here are pretty accurate. This place is good, but far from great. Inside is small, but decorated nicely. You order your food at the counter, and a pager will let you know when your food is ready. Like the other reviews say, not many options for toppings...just the basics. The burgers are kind of on the thin side, so I would recommend the double. Our food came out really fast...like too fast. My burger had decent flavor, but you could tell it had just been sitting in a warmer for the past 45 minutes, as it was on the dry side and not very hot. The fries are pretty average, but they were hot and crispy. I would definitely give this place another try sometime. Not the best burger I've every had, but still good. I would like to have a fresh and hot one the next time I'm there ;-) read more

Overpriced and awkward. Had an online ordering system outside which was weird without seeing a basic menu. They had 3 things on the menu; hamburgers cheeseburgers and hot dogs - but they were "out of hot dogs til Friday." I think they had a couple other things written on a chalkboard inside. Then the drinks: they were out of any diet soda. They had plenty of help but not much choice of food. The cheeseburger was actually great, and we got way too many fries (threw away 2/3). So it's got potential but needs to work on priorities. Also - $40 for 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries, and 1 shake. Note to self: make better choices. read more

I was blown away by this place. The atmosphere is super cool! The customer service and food were fantastic! I don't know how people haven't left raving reviews. Here is what we ordered. 1 chicken sandwich (BOMB btw). 1 cheese fry (super bomb!) 1 vanilla milkshake and 1 shake of the month, which was a blueberry parfait. They even make their own parfait! o ma gawd. SO GOOD. O! and we of course ordered a cheeseburger (extra patty). OW OW! It was all delicious. We sat outside and picked up our order from the window. You are able to see right in and observe, if you want, the employees making your food. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. For certain, you can tell the quality of the food they have. Wendy, was the gal that took our order and she was fantastic. She helped us figure out what we might like and made great suggestions. Very pleased with this new spot. Overall the burger & shake were good. Took around 5 minutes from completion of order to receiving my food and shake. Young lady behind the counter was pleasant and helpful. Ordered the single 1/4 lbs. cheeseburger, subbing out standard cheese with pepper jack cheese and added bacon, guacamole, and fresh jalapeños. Unfortunately, while the customer service, speed, & presentation were good, they did mess up the order a bit. Although requested and paid for, they forgot to add the fresh jalapeños and didn't sub out the cheese. The burger is prepared and cooked as a smash burger, so the outside is a bit crispy, but the inside is still juicy. Not the best that I've had, but pretty good. Ordered the shake of the month, Mon Cheri, and it was very good. Of course you have to like chocolate and cherries together, and I do. There were little pieces of cherries in every sip. Overall, I'd give this place 4 out of 5 stars and would eat here again. read more
