    "Grilled Cheese"
    Rica R.

My son would not eat the grilled cheese (see photo) it was basically burnt on both sides and the bread was two inverted burger buns. Fries were also dark and not crisp. I also ordered a stack burger, which was okay but not the best. The meat did not taste like good quality hamburger beef. I don't think I'll be back.

What a pleasant surprise trying their burgers, while at Headworks Brewery! My go-to is the Cryfecta! Its a burger with jalapenos! Ask for an additional sauce on the side to take it to another level! Great fies too. They have multiple food trucks that are in the area. You can also find them in Buckley just off 410.

4.5 stars actually!! I'd like to start the review by thanking the ownwe/manager, Gilbert. Thank you for the 'on-the-house' meal but more importantly for the work you're doing with the staff, as tonight the cashier was pleasant with me as well as others. Delightful, no but didn't have me question my life choices. Their has never been an issue with the food. It is right where it should be for the price point. The burger meat is where it falls just short if fabulous and 5 stars. All the toppings, condiments and burger to bun ratio are as close to perfect as you're gonna find. I'm happy to put Stacks back in the rotation!!! Thanks again Gilbert for reaching out.

But first, let's make like Marty McFly and go back in time. My bud says let's go meet up for burgers and brew. I'm like, "Sure, don't gotta ask me twice." And off we went. My mind was blown by all the things in such close proximity of each other... I mean like a parking lot closeness. We got some serious grub burgers, with a brewery next door to enjoy said tasty meat patties. With a distillery in the back/front, and a wine or tea bar on the other side. You don't have to go far to stumble or crawl. Ok... moving forward... back to Burger Buds! I had no idea this was the original truck or location. I live out in the Maple Valley area, and we frequent that burger buds often. However, every time I go, I always want to try a new burger. And the Wenatchee was calling my name. Something about crisp Washington apples and cheese just sounded good with some candied bacon. C'mon son! Not to mention their fries! We ordered our food, found a place to sit down inside the brewery, ordered some cider, and once the food was ready, we just sat and hung out and enjoyed conversation. This is a perfect location! So hats off to the owners of Burger Buds and Headworks Brewery for their joint adventure! Thank you for the experience and as always, enjoy and found a new Happy Place!

The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

The steady menu is always very consistent quality. The service is great, like you must be friendly to work there. The ambiance is drive-in with a slight touch of diner. The burgers remind me of a hybrid between Great State and Dick's Burgers. The shakes are uh-maz-ingggg. They also serve Dole whip, Whizzers (Blizzards), Sundaes, floats, and cones (including swirl! McDonald's doesnt even do that anymore). They also have fish, they make their own homemade chowder (yet to try), sandwiches, etc. My kids learned to like white fish by trying the fish here. Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. Until quality, service, or something showstopping changes we'll continue to enjoy our meals there. Definitely recommend eating at Wally's.

We tried two fried chicken sandwiches, a double cheeseburger, the BBLT, and the special- a Philly cheeseburger. All were delicious and cooked fresh. The fries stole the show- really good thick cut fries. Onion rings- not great. Overall really hit the spot after games.

During our visit it was 'seat yourself' and a waitress came right over with menus and took our drink order. As it was early, we ordered coffee and water. Coffee is good and hot. Cream on table with salt, pepper, hot sauce and ketchup. Our beverages were brought over by another staff member, Paula, who told us our waitress would be right with us. Except she wasn't. After ten minutes I was worried. After 20 minutes I was getting concerned. Our waitress showed up shortly there after and we placed our order. Paula came around a few times refilling coffees, clearing tables and bringing checks. I wandered into their bakery area while waiting for our food, took photos, read the info there and then out to the historic bar area to check it out. You can order cakes and cheese cakes from their bakery as well as take a slice to-go, or enjoy a slice in house. Our waitress saw me there on her way into the kitchen and asked if I needed something. "No, just looking". OK then. We think our waitress was working both the kitchen and the dining room which is why she was often out of sight. So two staff in FOH with one of them helping BOH. That's a lot. She brought our food when ready plus a selectiin of jams for our english muffin. We asked for silverware which she promotly brought. The marionberry jam, a hybrid blackberry from Oregon, is excellent. The food is quite good. Corned beef hash is without a doubt made fresh. Big pieces of shredded beef with potatoes and lots of fresh spices. This hash has a zing to it. We both ordered the small portion of their corned beef so it came with one egg (instead of two) and we chose english muffin (instead of toast) and got half each (vs. a whole each). With a side of their potatoes, which were also good and plentiful, we had enough left overs for breakfast the next day. Which we also enjoyed. All told, we were in and out in one hour. Food was very good. We always had coffee. We thought our waitress was unfriendly, but she's just super busy. So five stars for holding down the dining rooms with two staff members and serving tasty, well prepared food. Paula processed our card payment. Forgot to check out the restrooms. I think they are in the last dining area (where a big business meeting of some company was going on at the time) behind the bar room.
