Saw this restaurant on IG and couldn't wait to try it. Small, cute corner joint with not too many choices (yeah!). Opted to split the Surf & Turf special ($13 + $5 for fries and a drink). About 4-5 shrimp that were cooked and seasoned well. Loved their special sauce. Fries were average. Breakfast sandwich was liked, not loved. Added bacon but wasn't quite enough. Visited Burger District at 7:30pm on a Sunday and there was enough seating inside and outside for more groups. I ordered a threefle burger which had 3 patties, cheese, truffle mushrooms, caramelized onions and garlic solo sauce and LET ME TELL YOU! That was an amazing burger. I'm still thinking about it days later lol everything is cooked fresh once you order. The burger smelled so good I couldn't wait to eat it and even tho it was super hot, I kept wanting to eat it lol it is a smaller space inside but people were eating and leaving pretty quickly so there were enough stools for people. First time here and I'll be back again someday! Stopped by to try their burgers. I got the double cheese burger and my partner got a turkey burger. We enjoyed these classic style burger very much! Only thing is I wish we could choose the cook on the patty, as I like mine with a little pink in it still. Still great flavor though! We also got the cheese fries which were good but wasn't so much once the cheese got cold. I could do without the cheese next time. It's a small spot with limited seating so keep that in mind if dining in. The service was good but one of the guys seemed like he was rushing people out. Still very nice and polite though! Everything just blew my mind and my flavor palette was on cloud nine. The meat was incredibly seasoned and savory, the bread was well toasted and gave the burgers an added bonus, the cheesy fries had the perfect crunch, just everything tasted like heaven. Such a hole in the wall! Came here on a Friday for lunch. There aren't really much seating available. There are maybe 10 seats inside with a few more standing tables outside. The burgers do take a while, as the kitchen touts that the burgers are made fresh to order. I got the surf and turf burger, which had shrimp on top of the patty. I finally got the chance to try the Burger District and it was delicious. It's located in Downtown LA near the alley so parking is horrible. There's a parking structure directly across the street but it's super busy because of the location, so be prepared for traffic. The restaurant itself is kind of small but they do offer indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are amazing! They were very helpful and attentive and provided great customer service. The menu is pretty simple with all of their burgers listed with descriptions and pictures. Everything looked so good but I tried the surf and turf burger with fries. The burger was so juicy and flavorful. The shrimp could've been seasoned a bit more but the cheese, special sauce and the other toppings made up for it. I will definitely be back to try more burgers. The District burger was hefty. It was a beef patty topped with bacon, pastrami, and a fried egg. The Threefle is a mouthful. It's three beef Pattie's topped with truffle mushroom. All of the burgers were really good. I loved that the meat was so tender and juicy. The specialty burgers were really big and definitely something to enjoy, especially when you're really hungry.
